1  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Are there any BTC holders in the house that collect valuable domains? on: May 31, 2019, 08:12:09 AM
The domain in question is Globalcoin.holdings

I acquired it last week due to the influx of mainstream media attention regarding Facebook's cryptocurrency - Globalcoin. The plan was to hold this long term and wait for the global currency to mature upon mass adoption, to then sell it. It's pretty clear where the value lies, Facebook will be potentially, the biggest entity on the planet in a few years with a bottomless pit of money. It's almost inevitable that they will want to spin off a holdings company for their currency later down the line.

I just wanted to set a gauge and see if anyone was interested in this.

I'm still totally undecided if I want to part ways with it but I would definitely consider it if I received a decent offer.
Domains don't get sales so easily. Sometimes the domains stay with you forever or you have to expire it. I'm not discouraging you, but telling the truth and the truth is always bitter.

I'm telling from my own experience.
I bought some domains in 2016 and about 70% domains I let expire in 2017-2018. Currently just hodling the best ones which I thought to be the best ones.
Since 2016 I'm just renewing those 30% domains which I'm hodling now. I actually never sold a domain, so the profit is like a dream.

One of my best domain is cryptointelligence.net, the .com price is $110,500.00 @GoDaddy and $118,000.00 @namecheap
What I'm trying to say is, .net even doesn't get a sale and you may need to hodl years. Even I'm holding a .com since the beginning.
But whatever, I will be holding those domains as long as I can but won't sell below my expectation.

Hodl your domain as long as you can, maybe one day you make the sell. Post it in different forums, and you can also post it to Namepros.

And if you like domain business then just flip it - buy for 10, sell for 20
If you make a sale then it's 100% gain.  Smiley Good Luck

Thank you. I have a little bit of experience with domains, I've sold a couple for really strong profits. We all share the same trait of having foresight. It may take time but the risk-reward ratio is highly favourable Smiley

I’ve escrowed a few domain name sales here that sold up into the high 5 digits.
Can you name domains if not a secret?

It isn't secret, but probably in bad taste.  I'll say one of them had to do with ETH and cats.  Wink

Nice Smiley massive respect for the excellent foresight.

Thank you for your input guys, it's nice to hear the opinions of well seasoned members in the space.

It was the first time that I had seen a .holdings domain extension, when I discovered it. I know that .com and .org extensions are the premium domain extensions today but I can't help but feel that this extension is especially apt for potentially the largest global currency owned by a PLC.

I was quite happy with the link which was posted, $500+ dollars off just the wording alone isn't bad. I'm going to wait for the hype, the announcement and some worldwide adoption and then test the water. I feel that this will sing to either an avid collector, a Crypto trust fund which would like to use the term globalcoin, as it can relate to all coins which will be a part of the new economy and also will be heavily searched on Google. Or it might be of interest to Facebook themselves.

We will see Smiley it is well worth a mid to long term hold.

Thanks again, I wish you all wealth and prosperity in the years ahead. God bless.

Terrible... Please do the market a favour and not release this. Let's not pollute our market even more than it is!

You guys should look at rebranding because you have a great product but it is seriously lacking in creativity. Friend unifying platform. REALLY?? It's like calling a telephone, an associate communication device. It's incredibly lame. Also the branding on your website is incredibly boring as well. I would re-design this project before releasing it.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY][ICO] |Crypterium - Mobile Cryptobank | Hardcap reached ! on: February 16, 2018, 12:34:56 PM
I have done the maths and the bounty settlement is incorrect.

3% of total supply (99,983,577) = 2,999,510.31

15% for content = 449,926.54

content tokens / by the stakes (11,325) = 39.7236

39.7286 x my number of stakes (75) = 2,979.64

I received 1,227.65

I was curious why you didn't update the tokens in the spreadsheet.

You need to rectify this before I contact Crypterium because this isn't on at all!! You have blatantly short changed the community for a few tokens.

If Crypterium fail to do anything then i'll put out an article on Hackernoon and also provide red trust. Not one to tolerate being messed around.

there is some reduction in the number of token bounty allocations, you can read their reason in this article: https://medium.com/@crypterium_io/crypteriums-bounty-program-final-results-58fbb5750e2c

Yeah they have increased the blog/video pool by 2.9% so it should actually be more!

I'm proceeding with actions if there isn't a resolution for this by tomorrow.

No team information at all. No one will invest in a project that can't provide information on its team.

I would have been onboard with this campaign but it's capped unfortunately... I don't understand it, There is a pool of coins for getting the word out, split it between everyone that gets involved.

Hey thanks for the update, I felt like it might of been a bit dodgy at first glance but it seems legitimate. A little work needs doing on the website though, it gives off a spammy landing page vibe... Trying not to be negative, just giving you feedback

Hi I'm still checking you out but I've found a typo that you may want to change... BCHConnect LENDING PLANS - ULTIMATE - $100,0010 needs editing.

Also, your whitepaper is a bit short in terms of substance and depth... Get in touch, I could help you with that

Hey guys, congrats on a successful campaign! I've been trying to view the spreadsheets but they have been inaccessible for a few days now, your probably doing the calculations on it... When will they be available for us to view?
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO]CREDITS - New Blockchain for financial industry [1 Feb-28 Feb] on: January 02, 2018, 10:12:24 PM
Hey guys, good luck with the project going forward. I'm kind of on the cusp on whether to invest or not... For such a huge game changing project, you don't have many developers in your team. How can you compete with the big boys who have many developers working on their project. I feel it's that and the lack of partnerships/deals/acquisitions that puts me off. A lack of social proof. We are really taking your word for it.
