701  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you could rename Bitcoin what name would you give it? on: August 01, 2019, 06:09:41 AM
If there is any means to rename Bitcoin I would or will name it "Egbigere" meaning our Freedom from oppression. The government had been on us and has oppressed us for long time, and with the advent of Bitcoin they are going to seize in due course. There will be much more name others will give it but that's just my opinion.
702  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin can't be banned on: August 01, 2019, 05:28:37 AM
I think that Bitcoin is popular because It has no tax issue for any gov. Also no one knows who controlled it. Many country did not approve it.
The US government had just slash down the tax which was opposed on Bitcoin to 25%, so, the government has already entered into the world.of cryptocurrency and had.implemented tax, that's by the side.
Bitcoin can't be ban because it's just a technology which look impossible to ban. Technology.like the internet where not banned, so it.look impossible for.any government of the federation to wake up an ban Bitcoin.
703  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anthony Pompliano Says Country That Adopts Bitcoin First Will Have Advantage on: August 01, 2019, 05:14:11 AM
Personally I think he's correct because those countries that will take the first place of adoption of cryptocurrency will be the frontiers of the new financial system. Although my own country has not make.any move yet but waiting for others to get into the space before follow with their native tokens according to source.
704  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do traders make more money than holders? on: July 31, 2019, 06:15:33 AM
If i can figure it out, maybe yes. But it is depends on what money that holders use to make investment. Because holders only rely on their investment and traders can do any improvement with his result every time it can make profit.
More reason I will agree that traders or a trader make more money than the holdrs because, those who actually commit themselves into day trade make daily earnings while a holder will hold until there is profits before he or she sell off the portfolio or portfolios. This can take months or a whole year before there will be profit, I have been holding and had not.made enough profit yet.
705  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India declines Bitcoin Legalization Again on: July 30, 2019, 12:33:18 PM
I guess we really can't blame India's governement since they have their own reasons for declining bitcoin legalizations again. And indians are just unfortunate because of this. But I think they just wanna clear some rules or guidelines about this so I hope it also turns out good.
The possibility of the Indian government to adjust to the adoption  of Bitcoin is very minimal as they never want to see the country growing technologically as in the case of digital money. But with due time, they wll adopt digital money to improve the welfare of their citizens. Hope the next time they come up with this they will accept Bitcoin.and legalize it in the.country.
706  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin To $55,000 By May 2020, CNBC’s Joe Kernen Hints on: July 30, 2019, 11:42:43 AM
Sometime we are tired of these price prediction because at the end of the day we aren't going to see anything close to the said price like what we have seen in the past, let focus on the development of this technology to bring it to the general public for global adoption. All I believe is that, there will be a huge rise in 2020 but not as speculated by  these speculators with high price.
707  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are airdrops safe? on: July 26, 2019, 07:48:35 PM
The way they usually work is they give you some string and you sign it to prove you own the address.

Could a malicious air drop make a transaction sending all your BTC to them, and then you sign it, and then they broadcast it to the network?
Or is signing a message different than signing a transaction?
There could be a malicious airdrop and when you see such airdrop as  a forum member anywhere, you should know that. Asking for private keys or giving you a link to sign up with could be an attempt to take control over your funds. For now, I haven't seen or see.any airdrop that actually worth holding at the moment.
708  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: cryptoroulette.world SCAM!!!!! on: July 26, 2019, 03:52:07 PM
Joined their site, with their "free" promotion. "Won" .04 BTC on my third spin. Tried to cash it out. You must deposit .015 BTC to get "verified".
It's an old scam attempt. You will always win when they will launch these websites because they need you to go for an withdrawal so that they can ask for the deposit money.

Truth is that you never won anything 🤪

Please move it to the scam accusations board.

yes, old type of scamming like
- nigerian scam
- ponzi scam

when someone ask money, you never drop him - or drop him with escrow
I can still vividly remembered what they did tonne back in 2017 with their ponzi scheme on FB and I feel flat for the scam and they ate my raw, but thanks to this forum, they actually nurtured me to understand the skills of decerning what is outright and what is hidden. Nigerian scam are outdated scam and not somebody here will fall for their scam.
709  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is bitcoin gambling really accepted in China ? on: July 26, 2019, 03:21:18 PM
They are not completely accept the legalization of Crypto gambling in China but they are in the beginning stage and there are lots of rules and regulations to use Crypto gambling  China but between also been a good thing for our self to take the future.
They don't in half way accepted any way you can gamble using the cryptocurrency, they banned gambling casinos and the physical casinos and pit a restrictions on the gambling in China and we all know how good they are in making laws for the country men and women's, so, China doesn't accept gambling and when found such a gambler will be punish according to the laws of the land.
710  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What messenger do you use to chat with your crypto gambling buddies? on: July 26, 2019, 03:05:32 PM
Although your selections you selected are good chat apps but any gambler using these cat outside the gambling platform's chat with the fellow gamblers will not actually enjoy the beauty of platform chat. I have always stick to the gambling platform chat with my fellow gamblers and I enjoyed stay and chat.
711  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any online casino that show algo or proof of fairness? on: July 26, 2019, 02:52:26 PM
there is .  you can click on the fairness button that you can see on every casino that you visit ( im sure there is ) because ive been visiting lots of online casino's and there were always a fairness button that you can click to see if they are fair or not   . you can also verifiy your own results after you roll  .
This made me remember my signature campaign as I have personally check it out and find out the truth about fairness. Most of these gambling platform's do have the functionality of the button fairness which can be ckeck anytime, even the client seed but for some other gambling platform's I doubt.
712  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Croatian post office now offer crypto exchange on: July 25, 2019, 08:24:42 PM
That's a good move for a state owned postal office accepting the use of Bitcoin for payment. Even though its not a full complete exchange, its still make more publication to the global community. We are going towards the global adoption and when it happen, things will change around us ppssitivel.
713  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think satoshi will ever came back and post on this forum? on: July 25, 2019, 08:05:06 PM
If using the same account that Satoshi use, it will.be impossible but if coming to this forum to post and check how the forum is fairing is pretty possible. If he or she or group are here they wouldn't notify us either, so, probably they are  somewhere on this forum watching, most of them that where here when the forum start are still here actively, more possible that some are still here with us.
714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Celebrities you probably don't know were(are) aggressive gamblers on: July 25, 2019, 07:37:48 PM
Also, they are not just best at doing their careers. Obviously, there are these other things they are doing to earn money like investing. Also, you said gambling is good, in what way? How good? I do say that they can support their gambling but they can do good things with that money they are wasting in gambling, what is the good thing there?
Maybe to have a passion in your life? It's important to have a passion. It gives you a reason to enjoy your life almost every day.  Smiley
Passion for gambling can be dangerous than we see in these celebrities life as their passion towards gambling. Most of these guys gat the money from their businesses and use it in gambling and never look back if their loses recorded or not but ordinary gamblers should never gamble like these celebrities. As a gambler, never only your passion lead you to depression.
715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reasons Crypto Players Skip Casinos with KYC on: July 25, 2019, 06:15:35 PM
Beyond the reasons mentioned in the Op I find a much important factor that keeps gamblers skip the KYC process is the fear of governments. Someday if governments request to submit the data of each and every user, our information gets revealed with the
amount wagered in total. Some foolish governments might also levy tax taking it as a proof of spending though most games lost.
It's not really about the gov't but it's simply because we don't want to be exposed and we don't want the casino itself to know who we are.

The reason why we used crypto to gamble is because there's no need for certain documents to verify in able to gamble.
And if we use or Concord to their rules and regulations that make gamblers to submit their KYC then the sole purpose of cryptocurrency will be defeated. Things like anonymity will be defeated and information can be exploited nfrom gamblers to their disadvantage, personally I will be associated with such gambling platform's.
716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does hard work in gambling count? on: July 24, 2019, 08:55:57 PM
Even on poker there won't be any assured win while we have lot of experience about playing that game for years.
You can apply what you have experienced with poker but it won't guarantee you a win. You can learn on how to bluff and when to fold but it's just like that but it won't be 100% of winning.
First and foremost applying experience and hardwork in poker or learning poker has an advantage towards your winning even though its won't be 100% sure or guaranteed. But the facts still remains that, hardwork pays more in poker than in any other gambling casinos online.
On movies I saw people with experience on playing pokers keep winning the gems but on the reality it differs.

When we are experienced we might look more confident it will create paninc on the opposition so it will be helpful but what will happen when two experienced poker player faces?
When two poker professionals meet in gambling will be a real crackers for the two but never forgotten that the best will be victorious among the two poker professionals. Movies show what poker is made up and ensure that it's been followed and can also ake them winners, poker was my first  favourite games while in school

718  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Impossibility of a gambling system (Why methods don't work) on: July 24, 2019, 02:27:40 PM
LOL you are giving mathematics class for we people to win on gambling field.

Do you have any strategy on winning sports bets? I really to bet for football and tennis matches. If there is strategy it will be happy for me Wink
Basically you can't get strategy that can make youbwin the odds on sportbet because football betting or sport depends on the team straight and not base on any strategy. Most of my bet on soccer are base on my trust on the team that I want to bet on. For tennis, am not a fans but, if I want to choose I will chose the good player over the other irrespective of the odds.
719  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in bitcoin or new project on: July 23, 2019, 07:45:30 PM
What you prefer if you have to choose only one choice, invest in bitcoin or invest in new project?
The possibility of the new project succeeding in time is actually very rare because most of these newly lunch projects are full of scam, most at time they come with a nice projects but haven the attention of scamming investors of their money, don't forget the ICOs days, even at this days of IEOs there are still scamming,so, I would rather chose to invest in Bitcoin than in a new project.
720  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A logo for Satoshis, the smallest unit of a bitcoin. on: July 23, 2019, 03:32:10 PM
<.......> Stop thinking complex things because it will just end to a lot more error, this is enough.
Most important things should be focus on and not to the less important. Basically placing decimal value in between the mBTC and Satoshi probably might lead us to a bigger confusion in the nearest future, I would have suggest we look over to other things that need more attention than those that need none, especially the adoption of Bitcoin.
