401  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Technobit HEX16A2 - 16 chip Avalon Gen2 board on: February 01, 2014, 12:27:33 AM
Well it would not be fair to hit the trust button whilst the game is still in play...

On that note, my order is still in Sofia. Is it that
a. That speedy's tracking is just sh$t.
b. There missing a document from marto
c. They are just so sllooowww

I'm in the UK, SouthernGentUK, and it took up to 7 days for my orders to be delivered after their order system changed from "payment accepted" to "shipped". I've had three shipments and none came with any tracking number it was blank on the e-mail.

Thanks, I sometimes think it is better not to have tracking (if tracking is substandard).
Am not actually in the UK anymore, its just a distraction  Grin I'll get around to changing it one day, but it's been with me for 10+ years on the net and its hard to let go  Cry

Read through the last 14 or so pages, just when I though I had it, I lost it  Huh

So Rebecca's Internal foundry is actually some guys rear posterior,
somebody knows who but does not want to admit how they found out,
some probing of others ip's happened
and searing became an evil genius overnight

Perhaps we need a policeman mod on the forums, with the soul job of checking ip's for scams and socks.

At least that 1 person who was defiantly scammed got his coin back, hey wait, that's suspicious, perhaps it was him all along..
407  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Antminer S1 open for sale again] The last round before the Chinese New Year on: January 30, 2014, 12:20:20 AM

409  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [GROUP BUY WORLDWIDE]Avalon miner 200 GH/s 1800 USD+ Shipping - CHINESE NEW YEAR on: January 29, 2014, 12:01:48 PM
So 2.3 btc ?

A price drop of .1 ?

Yes these needs to go a lot further to compete with the ants@1.9. also some reassurance on the quality needs to be addressed.

Will new units be shipped with decent thermal paste ?

When will units ship, after the holidays ?

ext....

I was hoping this could be a thread with information about new products and updates on software and perhaps some guides. But too bad, it's already cluttered with people asking about existing orders.
Can't that be moved back to the thread about the actual product?

With all due respect there is much outstanding business to be dealt with that has not been dealt with in those threads.

Edit :  Martin is more than welcome to remove my posts once he has provided my tracking number, to reduce the clutter in the thread.
Tracking Received, Thank you

feel free to clean.
412  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Technobit HEX8A1 - 6/8 chip Coincraft A1 board on: January 28, 2014, 12:11:15 PM
Marto, you can not sent this buyer incomplete miner. He canceled it a while ago and you ask him for paypal to refund.
Why are you now wonder why hes behaving this way. I agree with bilecinski and refund him like you said.
He did now overeacted but you have responibility for your customers.
Hire somebody who act mature with your buyers.
Its very easy solution, refund him like you stated in december, and he will clean the thread from spams.
Yes and I would in any other case .
But this customer put about 100 BOLD off topic msg in a few treads.
This can not continue.
This kind of behavior .
So I'll send him exactly what he paid for. PCB+componets , assembled and tested .
Yes it is not correct , but  I'll prefer to go to court for this , rather than allowing this kind of behavior to be example for success here in this forum .
So what is the recipe for success. Here we are 24 hrs later. No tracking number!
I always aspire to be the better man.
I do not want to be like the aforementioned. But I have felt the urge since you promised tomorrow 4 weeks ago.

Actually I prefer the cold hard facts. If it is to be another 3 weeks then say so. but lets stop empty promises.

You told that guy you would refund him. For your own respect just do it. Where all tired of his posts, damn, even he is tired of his posts. But I quite see where he is coming from..

413  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Antminer S1 open for sale again] The last round before the Chinese New Year on: January 28, 2014, 08:51:09 AM

You think will catch fire ? there is good breeze and cold air. I really want to move rig to more space and room. I bought some WIFI extenders but they are a lump of **** How do you suppose I get ethernet about 20m from my home to my out door venue without running a cable ? or power line addaptors, I thought about setting up a bridge between router and building but need to find a good access point any ideas ?

from experience i would NOT recommend powerline adapters, although am still on them currently and they are working they loose connection at random.

Lan is always the best solution..

Catenary wire perhaps ?
414  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Antminer S1 open for sale again] The last round before the Chinese New Year on: January 28, 2014, 08:26:39 AM
I am not pleased with the delivery of sub-optimal units direct from BitMain.  My sushi units were always "new" out of box, including that fresh electronic smell and none of my previous 6 had the extremely excessive paste issue.

However, the two units I received today, the 27th after ordering on the 21st, are below expectations and sadly a blow to my confidence in further buys.  They were double boxed and taped (unlike the single box from the Sushi GBuys).

At least someone tried to clean them, did they try to scare them with a can of spray air ? edit  : on further lookin thats the shape of the fan, no scaring necessary

So by the looks of it, if you received a unit where the thermal paste has ran then you have got a unit that has been mined with in a very hot dirty Chinese mine.

and the guy who has the job of cleaning and re-packaging will be having a carer change shortly..

I nearly ordered 1 myself and now am glad I didn't.

edit 2 : interested if you removed the heat sink whether it is noticeable that the paste has run from top to bottom
415  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HELP!!! i have chips. on: January 28, 2014, 04:26:51 AM
Im not going to waste them. Im going to figure something to do with them. even if their hashing power is worthless when i get to it, it is still just for the fun of the project.

You might want to keep an eye on this thread  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=203388.msg2125613#msg2125613

I just sent this message to a couple of my customers, and I'm posting it here as well:

Quote
Well, it looks like Colin is backing out of the project. He's going to be shipping me the miners he has managed to complete, along with the components. I plan on sending everyone their chips and the miners that were made with their chips, along with the components and circuit boards that *would* have gone into their miners.

I'm very frustrated and tired right now, and I don't imagine you're feeling any better about this news than I am. I'll be refunding the assembly cost of your order, along with my margin, as soon as Colin sends me the funds I need to do so. Please let me know if you have any questions or if there's anything more I can do to make this right by you.

Sorry to be delivering such crappy news.

Ryan

As it says above, please let me know if you have any questions. Sorry this has turned out so poorly for everyone.
416  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] - Stumptown Miners - Avalon PCB Assembly - West Coast USA on: January 28, 2014, 12:13:22 AM
I would be interested in building a couple of these for fun.

If anyone has a couple of full sets (pcb+components) that they are willing to let go at a price reflecting there current value (almost zero) please PM me.

I cannot justify paying there hash rate value as am gonna screw them up anyway probably so please keep the price reasonable, this is a just for fun project now..  Grin

Sorry for your losses.

418  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Technobit.eu SCAM ALERT (Fraud, Scam, No Refund, wrong promises) on: January 27, 2014, 10:09:56 AM
I've ordered from Technobit 3 times and everything was delivered without any big problems, just some delays (but that's quite normal in the bitcoin hardware world)

Yes you can say they are behind shipping schedule (2 out of my 3 orders were late)
Yes you can say they aren't good in communication
No you can not say they are scammers just because your order went terribly wrong

People who can't accept an order to be delayed or can't accept a company with bad communication, then stop ordering with companies who can't deliver instantly and stop all this war that's all over the forums with all companies.

Just my 0.02BTC

I disagree, after promise after promise, month after month I am disappointed, I haven't gone as far as shouting scam but this is almost on par with avalon. At least avalon refund the BTC so you could say it is worse.

My first order was 20th September, ok he probably did not receive chips for a couple of weeks but hey where nearly in February.

How long did your order take ?

We have been bypassed continually by other products.

Maybe not a scam but defiantly a sham.

Who knows if/when my boards where produced ? Have they been hashing away for 3 months now ? Who knows, but what I do no is that there not here with me..

Nope. You had your chance. I should have received the boards by mid December 2013. I'm not putting 42Gh/s on the network @ 600W at that difficulty.

Assuming that you have 6 boards and shipping is imminent I would be willing to buy your order for say 0.35 BTC on the condition that Marto can combine the shipping at minimum extra coast and in reasonable time.

I know that's not what you paid but we have all lost here.

With Respect
