641  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [Closed]Avalon Chips - 0.081 BTC (Global+Escrow)-BATCH2 SECURED on: October 15, 2013, 11:46:02 AM
Heard from him last week and as you've read I received my refund. I think it's reasonable to expect an update from him this weekend.

Problem is that it could be that not everyone who is being refunded will be posting in this thread, so it's hard to gauge how things are progressing. I know I just want to be done with this whole mess.

I'm sure he's reading this thread, but if no update comes soon or refunds are not being processed then I'd be suspicious.
Best I can see from the blockchain he has not paid anyone since the 11th, and only has about 12btc left.

He has refunded most on the forum batch 2, however he took 340 btc through his website address that seems to remain mostly unpaid.

I do not see the coin to repay this at this time.

Learn from past , do the maths , will any one ever make any ROI from "Mining by the GH" , there already many group buy on this thread already mining @ current difficulty level , which are cheaper than "Mining by the GH" but ROI on those group buys is still difficult , STOP Advertising for Black Fucking Hole , Parasites of Bitcoin world.

I wish the forum would stop taking there advertising fee's also.
643  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official TerraHash topic (possible scam) on: October 15, 2013, 04:51:04 AM
terrahash indicated they are requesting refunds for the Avalon chips.  Terrahash is looking to refund all orders at least 50%.
yet he has not logged into the forum this month ! He is probably running in the opposite direction.
644  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: TechnoBit Eastern Europe, BG HEX16A 7 GH/s/Платки имонтаж на Авалон чип on: October 14, 2013, 12:07:15 PM
Is there an info on chaining the boards ?

Type of connector ?

Is it pin 1 of board A to pin 1 of board B ext ... or do they cross over?

I think marto is really busy,
Anyway for the record am hoping he has received my 25 chips already.

Am 7 chips short which I hope he can put the btc towards someone who is requesting a refund.

Am waiting for payment cost of shipping and the 7 extra chips.

Posting this here so not to harass him with more emails, am sure he will get to me in good time.

Thank you marto for all this work, it must be a nightmare to sort out.

I must ask, are there any blinking lights on the boards?   Grin
AND perhaps gold heatsinks

Spent a couple of hours reading this thread and wow, just wow...

Good luck to all you TH customers, sounds like you will need it.  Sad

You missed about half it due to some users deleting their posts in this thread.

649  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN][PRICE DROP] - DRILLBIT SYSTEM Bitfury Miners on: October 10, 2013, 08:06:58 AM
The new price is welcome, however can you give any further updates.

How's the prototype going ?
Any update in chip dispatch batch 1&2 ?
how long from receiving chips to delivery ?

Please don't think I doubt you. I don't. I just have learn't the hard way. 2-3 weeks delay and were busted.

It's pretty close, am on the fence for a couple more.
650  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Announcement] BTCGARDEN`s first generation ASIC blade/chips on: October 10, 2013, 07:35:30 AM
No way to input delivery address.
Cart does not function.
How much shipping?

If your site worked, and I was able to pay for the order, can you actually ship in 10 days Huh??

These are big boards and @ 200w for the pair (20GH), am guessing each board needs a network cable i.e they wont pair up ?

Still Interested.  Wink
651  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN] - GROUP BUY of BITFURY Chips + DRILLBIT SYSTEM mining assembly on: October 09, 2013, 07:43:20 AM

I brought a few of these on ebay. They are 12V fans but if you plan to do some soldering you can use the connectors to power the pcb's 5V
652  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Bitfury strikes back on: October 09, 2013, 03:02:02 AM
You guys do know there is a custom hardware subthread right ?

This has been in there for like about 5 months or so.

There is loads of threads for bitfury devices to purchase.   Wink

Edit : just saw the original post date  Grin point remains though..
653  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN] - GROUP BUY of BITFURY Chips + DRILLBIT SYSTEM mining assembly on: October 08, 2013, 11:17:56 AM

Can we just get the correct plug in and put in on the PS Barntech posted above?

Thanks,
IAS
Absolutely, just cut off a few plugs from old IT gear, a little heat shrink and solder up a loom. Use good quality cable though.

Slide heat shrink over cable, solder cable, slide heatshrink over the join, heat the shrink. plug her in and mine..  Wink
654  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN] - GROUP BUY of BITFURY Chips + DRILLBIT SYSTEM mining assembly on: October 08, 2013, 10:28:49 AM

Thanks for the answer. Not sure why it frightens you so much.  I'm just used to plugging things in and throwing the switch, not 5v rails v 12v rails etc. Just asking a simple question so I dont blow the boards or burn down my house!

Thanks.
So long as your 5v rail has sufficient current (amps) this is plug and play, no need to worry further. The 12V will be present on the plug but going nowhere on the pcb.

If your 5v rail is not sufficient you could step down your 12v rails as they tend to be rated much higher.

I personally would not exceed 80% of the rail. I would actually go for 45% max and 2 psu's, this splits your load and provides an opportunity to double up in the even of a failure so you keep mining at 100% whilst waiting for a replacement.

657  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: September 30, 2013, 10:20:06 PM
Nothing but 100% refunds to everyone this is owed is good enough, neither should it be for any of you either.

Amir, Justin, other principles at TerraHash, your customers, this community owes you nothing! If you took their money, then you owe it back, period, full stop, end of story.

As I have been asking for since June.... Send out the refunds!
+1000000
This was not a group buy, it was run as a business. The Group Buys split the chip purchase and board manufacture to remove the liability.

You guys purchased a product, it was not delivered, nothing else matters, you should receive 100% back or else it is fraud.

You would not except this treatment from Amazon, if they could not deliver your order you would be 100% refunded.

When you start a business you except the losses.

Do Not Except 50%
658  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [Closed]Avalon Chips - 0.081 BTC (Global+Escrow)-BATCH2 SECURED on: September 25, 2013, 11:44:53 AM
In other news, chips will be refunded from both batches. Only chips at the moment. Whoever wants to stay in, reinvest in something else, is welcome to stay. Whoever wants out, will be refunded.
More news in the morning, i've got several pages of math to do. I hate to keep you in the dark, but i still need my numbers right.

Sorry, I don't get it. why are we voting again ?

So the chips are for you, personal business. Thats fine.
but are you now saying we can have them if we want ?

 Huh
No, that would be sent from my own chips. I will recover them later from someone else.

So it was decided, the chip will be refunded, why are we voting again?

To make it clear about Batch 2:

I confirm that 800 chips are on their way to t13hydra and should arrive by end of this week.
Me and Choadmeyer made an arrangement as we thought the chips were for batch 2,
it appears there not, they are for steve,
but as best I can work out it was payed for with batch 2 coin
as 203 btc went in to the combined purchase but only 140 btc came back.
Am sure Steve can put me straight on this.

Steve please Ignore mine and Choadmeyer's deal and pay straight to him as per the list, we'll sort it out between us latter.
