This is awesome! Any idea how much in terms of resources (especially storage I assume a new M1 macbook pro with 16gb ram is fine for everything else) for data storage plus running the server?

We just have to be very careful on internet, you dont have to trust anybody you meet on social media, scammers  are coming up with new strategy daily just to scam people of their money, never send your wallet private key or your confidential details to anybody and if you are trying to help anybody you meet on the internet, you have to be very careful because the person might be trying to scam you. we all think some tricks all those hackers do use are cheap but lots of people are falling for it.
In this particular case at least he isnt offering help he is asking for help and opportunists creating a wallet with the seed phrase and attempting to steal the 400 get punished so there's that.

Sure enough, the wallet holds 400 usdt but only 1 tron, meaning you have to put tron in to the account in order to transfer the usdt out, and then as someone else described they take the tron out before you can transfer the USDT. All the tron  is being sent to the same address immediately after. I don't know how many different contracts were set up, but this particular address (my seed phrase was the same as the posters and I didnt search on the seed phrase or private key, i searched on 686usdt trx20.

It has netted 250 bucks worth of tron over the past 21 days. If someone can figure out a way to front run this front runner, they could cash in! You probably have to have access to the Tron mempool or spam send a bunch of .000001 transactions at once or something...  there is 400 dollars worth of usdt on there so a white hat could maybe front run the front runner and cause the scam to have a 150 dollar loss. Meanwhile I am playing dumb with the dmer to see if there is a social engineering aspect to this or just the former... tron transactions are super cheap so bombarding with a bunch of small tron txs might be the way...

if you act on my tip and succeed, feel free to drop me a tip!

Seems to me one good way to capitalize on this would be in the hopes that people (like me) will quickly import the addresses and then later accidently use that wallet to receive actual funds. At this point the wallet owner can steal the funds (as long as she is faster than all the other people who have access. Obviously there is no way to lose money if you start with an empty wallet since there would be nothing to steal. I imported the wallet (although I think it is a TRON token) trying eth and bsb because I thought if the person was really this stupid and had singled me out that I would steal their coins keep 200 USDT that they offered and then explain to them what they did wrong. It could also be a gage of honesty? While the advice to never respond to DMs is a good one, I prefer to respond so I can warn others of the scam. I am going to follow through and see if this is the usual send me 10 dollars and i will send you back 200 scam or if someone is monitoring the addresses to quickly capitalize on anyone who accidently deposits money into this wallet. Will report back...

5  Economy / Gambling / Re: SwCpoker.eu | No Banking, Only Bitcoin | Bitcoin Poker 2.0 LIVE NOW! on: November 13, 2018, 08:51:09 PM
Right now, people who are waiting for the new client are able to sit in the troll box and bitch and troll and where somebody will see on either the web site, here or twitter that the site is up. If you fire up the old swc client the troll bot will be accessible but your balance will read zero and there will be no games to play you will get to simulate that adrenaline rush that comes when you are in time square (or on the strip with this group of degens) waiting for the apple to drop. Your balance will be transferred to the new site just not until they bring up the site.

1)  really sorry for no comms last few days, I understand the frustration.  Sometimes life happens at the worst times and you come back to a shitstorm.
2)  ST6 is primarily focused on getting SwC back
3)  balances are available for withdraw.  big ups to hdev for handling them.
4)  bitcoins are safe, and I reiterate that they are available for withdraw if you'd like them.  Big ups to all of ST6 for this, with the MVP going to hdev
5)  No clue how long we will be down, it's in ST6's hands and it looks like it may be a bit.  I'm not going to say anything further until I spend a bunch of hours understanding the exact nature of the issue.
6)  tyvm for playing SwC, and I understand how frustrating it must be not to have it right now.  As many of the beta testers can verify (please, speak up now, I understand I swore you all to secrecy but it's totally cool now) we are very close to dropping absolutely super-nasty bitcoin poker 2.0 software.  We have been playing live games for small stakes for a few weeks now, and I can promise the bitcoin poker world we are going to drop this all over your faces very soon.  During this unplanned, extended downtime please thing about our history, and how we have consistently delivered since 2011.

Bear with us, I wanna dealer's choice too Smiley

I am STILL FUK WAITING ON HAT. ANY ETA ON THAT???

1) If SWC pay players in top tier krillrolls more that they rake from them it doesn't make business sense. I don't know if that's the case.
That's why I ask SWC to take a look at it. I never said that loyal players should not be awarded, that's what rakeback is for, and yes, some freerolls. With that being said SWC should not be life time cash cow for players that don't play anymore, or buy accounts and rent them for krillrolls, for that reason inactive accounts should be excluded. Again I don't know how many accounts like this exist, but likely more that a few. SWC promo page say "The Krill promotion is subject to change"

2) Primary reasons for players to play on SWC still remain the same, SWC spotless pay out record, low rake, fairness etc.
but more immediate reward, than current krill system could be appropriate.
SWC should consider something like monthly krillroll for anybody who earn certain amount krill in that month.
Of course to pay for that SWC would need to lower little bit the top tiers krillrolls price pool. Lol, I want hear reaction on that.

3) Judging from donk4u reaction, it seems I am correct,
Here is summary his reasons :
     a) I don't play ring games so I have no right to suggest changes, if I earn 50 000 krill then I can make suggestions.
     b) he slaved to get the 50 k krill and had very little rakeback and other sites offer 27% rakeback.( he neglected to mention that those sites
have 5% rake and most US facing sites don't offer rakeback any more.
     c) I am an idiot.
The rest is just insults attempts because he cannot come up wit anything what make sense.
non of it is really valid reason why current system shouldn't be adjusted.

OK so here is my two cents:

First, it seems clear that from a business perspective, the current krill roll situation is unsustainable and fails to reward the people who are earning their keep so to speak.
There are several interesting proposals as to what should be done. That's off this posts' topic.

Second, given the way krill has been structured, people such as donk4U did bust their asses in the cash games and did so primarily for the benefit of the juicy prize offerings of the higher krillmnts. This sacrifice must be considered and finding a fair way to compensate people for this is imperative to maintaining a loyal customer base. It's true many of the people don't play much anymore, but they invested a significant amount of time and rake, eyeing the benefits of the regularly scheduled high prize krillmnts. In deciding to invest that kind of time and rake on seals, most players probably realized that the krill promotion was subject to change, but, because they trusted in the general fairness to the players that seals has always demonstrated, they made a consciense decision to earn Seals krill. They and I assume that some kind of compensation for this time will be worked in to whatever new promotional things happen in conjuncion or in replacement of the current one. If Seals does not carefully take into account the trust and sacrifice of these seals they will regret it.

Third and finally, given that people knew there was a risk and chose to take it, presumably as I have suggested because of their trust in the general fairness of Seals admin,  said players, be they cash game players tournament playlers or idiots, should not get their knickers all in a twist before they even hear what the changes are! These players need to realize that Seals MUST make changes. They cannot sustain an indefinite retirement program and need to make some changes. If seals goes down there still will be no krillmnts.
