How are the umpires unable to detect so many no balls? Incompetent ICC has done very little to improve umpiring conditions due to which we are observing more and more of these errors at present. It still baffles that me that this is happening when new technologies like VAR aid them.

Only 12 no ball went unnoticed yesterday  Grin

Poor South Africa all out - 223 runs and England finally got the very important lead of 46 runs.
Anyone rooting for SA or waiting for another twist from English Batsmen.  Grin

I completely forgot that SriLanka is touring India for 3 T-20 matches. Anyways we have 1st game tomorrow.

Rohit is taking rest, Kohli is in, Bumrah is back along with Shardul and Navdeep Saini ( Bhuvi and Deepak Chahar are out due to injuries i suppose).
Never had a clue that India is playing tomorrow, since it is T20 i am expecting day night match, Is Sanju Samson back in the team to warm up the bench even in the absence of Rohit Sharma or will he be playing. Good to see Bumrah fit again and making a come back and i hope i will be able to see a full strength team for the tour to New Zealand.

Lol yeah, he's back as well for warming the bench, I doubt if team management want to kick Rishab pant atm and KL Rahul is in team so pure batsman slot is also booked, tough time for for Sanju.

~snip~
In any other format, I would say that Sri Lanka would be having 0% chance against India. But T20 format is different, and I guess they will be able to win at least one out of the three matches. Sri Lanka is doing pretty good with the shorter format recently. A few months back, they whitewashed the no.1 team (by a margin of 3-0), and that too playing away from home.

Yup, 2-1 sounds fair in favor of India. Although i don't mind if Sri Lanka wins the series because India need some reality check if they want to try out their middle order combination.

South Africa lost three quick wickets but now they are able to stabilize as Dean Elgar and Rassie van der Dussen are trying to built a partnership and they need to play a longer innings as they are still trailing by 144 runs.

Both looking good now, they are close to 100 runs partnership for 4th wicket  so its positive sign for SA. Rassie van der Dussen got one lifeline due to no-ball, he should take this opportunity from both hands.

Umpiring is shit in the match so far, they are even missing the big no balls. Time has come that ICC should fix the role of 3rd umpire for every no-ball check even in Test Match.

I still believe that South Africa will win this though.

My money is on SA as well but who knows if something goes wrong during the 4th inning, chasing target is tough in any condition.

Competition is between batsmen, so display of less shitty batting in comparison of opposition and they can win the match for their respective team. after 3 wickets and 18 overs SA need to build partnership and its not impossible task as ball getting old and balling change going to help South African batsmen. its up to them if they play sensible cricket or not.
269  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 04, 2020, 08:47:46 AM
if last wicket partnership gets big even 30 runs more, then its a big plus for them. i would say they are very much in the game if they get close to 290 score.
I don't know. 290 seems pretty low for an innings score and South Africa are riding on a win. England are in trouble here. I am expecting South Africa to win this one though it will go right down to the wire.

Yeah its low but in recent time South African batting line up is not up to mark. both team's batting line-up are more or less same so don't expect much from batsmen here.

Big sign of relief in South Africa camp, last wicket added hardly added 10 runs this morning. now time for English bowlers to do their magic because I don't have much expectation from SA's openers.

England 269 All out

Isn't it strange that scammer CSW is listed in that article (I constrained myself from clicking on any video linked in the article involving that fucktwat), as if he had anything to do with bitcoin, beyond attempting to mislead, deceive and scam innocent peeps?  So to me it seems that any link or reference to him would also have a misleading, deceiving and scamming impact, no?

TLDR: Idea of bitcoin 11 year b-day completely valid... Idea that fucktwat scamster knows anything about it besides reading about it misleading, deceptive and scammy at best.

Can we cite a better article regarding king daddy's 11 year old b-day... wouldn't any of us have liked to have been a "king daddy" at only 11?    Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Yeah, my mistake. i should have add "alert message" i tried to find another piece when v8 pointed out but not much success, end up with War+anniversary+pump type of articles.

Btw i didn't notice any toxic or misleading stuff in existing piece (except hypocrisy pattern if you would like to call it). please feel free to correct me if there is any misleading drama, i might learn something out of it.

South Africa was feeling good till 85th overs but after that Rabada ruined the party for his own team, by sticking with his bouncer against the Ollie Pope. 90% of last wicket runs partnership came from Rabada's bouncers in the third man area, Poor choice of deliveries from this fine bowler and big no ball when ollie pope got out was unforgivable.

Now England team got some room to catch their breathe and they wouldn't mind fresh start tomorrow morning. if last wicket partnership gets big even 30 runs more, then its a big plus for them. i would say they are very much in the game if they get close to 290 score.

Lol England was looking stable after 50+ run partnership in between Ben stokes-ollie pope. but Ben stokes lose the concentration and ended up throwing his wicket, poor guy. England would be very happy if they can touch 250 runs mark in the first inning.
England is struggling as they lost Ben Stokes and their fifth wicket and if they are able to score another hundred runs then it would be great, if not it will be another easy game for South Africa, Jose Buttler is in the crease and he is playing as if this is another T20 game and if he looses the wicket going after every ball then it will be another disappointment.

Their Tail fight backs but for this at least one middle order batsmen need to stay there. hope Jos Buttler stay at the crease for some time.
With their 5th wicket down, they have to hope that the tail will fight for England to put a decent score on the board  Cheesy.

Scoring runs is not easy against the new ball and its due with in 10 overs, So Buttler playing T-20 style and looking for quick runs. SA fielders are quite unlucky today. okay amount of half chances missed with the catches and LBW.

Edit : Jeez, Luck is favoring English batsmen. nicking here and there..

Australia is in a good position and Marnus Labuschagne is find of the season for Australia as his incredible form continues and today he reached his 4th century and with injury from the main players New Zealand is struggling to have an impact in the match.
This game looks dead..

England is in a slightly better position now, with the partnership between Ben Stokes and Ollie Pope taking them to 185/4. Considering the fact that their lower middle order is quite strong (Jos Buttler/Sam Curran/Dominic Bess), I expect them to score at least 300. Also, let's not forget the fact that their no.11 batsman (Stuart Broad) has one test century to his name. No other team can boast of such a no.11 batsman!!!  Grin

Are you accepting his view that the ICC will bow down to BCCI, i am aware that the board is wealthy and they have some control over the international counsel and i am not happy with that simply because i do not want to see a board controlling the entire cricket fraternity and controlling everything because of their political issue between two Asian countries should not be accepted by a world body but despite saying that i am not expecting players from England and Australia visiting Pakistan because of the lack of security and if ICC stick to that then it is fine.

Not bow down per se, but ICC is not strong enough to challenge BCCI into any arm-wrestling and again @Sithara already mentioned everything. Political crises is main problem. BTW there is no written rule that India should play or not against Pakistan in any bilateral series(or any country), There is 6 teams rule for each team when deciding bilateral series. As long as BCCI filling their quota, no-one cares.
