I've just built mine on x10Hosting.com with success.
It takes some hours to clear the redirect, but after that, it worked quite fine!

I've signed up, uploaded the files, created the database and changed config.php accordingly.

Forum account created 2+ years ago, hadn't posted since then and hadn't realised the new 'newbie' timer wouldn't allow me to post when the giveaways are happening Sad Not sure if too late, but I'll try anyway...

I want to trade, and share the wealth by PIF, however I lost my original Bitcoin wallet when my POS pc crashed last Summer and now I started downloading a new one and I am stuck downloading the last 10,000 blocks as of Friday night. And my new problem is I am lost regarding upgrading 0.8.1. Almost ready to give up.

Branzig is BUMMED!!!  Cry

Don't give up!!!
Tell us, have you lost the wallet.dat file also?
Could you PM me to see if I can help you?

16  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Ask and Bid on Ripple on: May 21, 2013, 09:33:51 AM
Oh! now I see!!
The "price" somehow is the Ask, not the Bid!!
Now I get it, that's why my order sits there waiting for some "luck" Smiley

Thank you all for clearing this to me!
17  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Ask and Bid on Ripple on: May 21, 2013, 09:17:41 AM
Sorry webr3, I don't understand.
I have 6200 XRP and want 1 BTC, how should I sell 1 BTC?
I don't have 1 BTC to sell, I want do exchange XRP by BTC.
Why am I confused?
18  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Ask and Bid on Ripple on: May 21, 2013, 08:59:53 AM
Hi!
Thank you for your explanation.
Just one more question.
Opencoin are the people behind ripple, am I right?
19  Other / Beginners & Help / Ask and Bid on Ripple on: May 21, 2013, 08:42:25 AM
I have a doubt:

I already have ripple configured to trade.

There is an Bid of 6000 XRP, an Ask of 6400 which leads to a 400 spread (not real quotes, just an example)

If I want to buy BTC, I put 1 BTC x 6005.
The Bid climbs to 6005.
But... it stays there... then, someone puts a Bid for N BTC @ 6006 and I get to second place.
Why?

Can someone please enlighten me on this subject?
20  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Possible? Mining different altcoins simultaneously on same machine? on: May 21, 2013, 08:31:03 AM
I have a couple machines mining litecoin.  Is there an easy way to set one gpu in a machine to mine a different altcoin?  I know that I could always buy or exchange for the different coin, but I would like to support alts that seem good, without decreasing my profits too much.

Thanks for any replies.

Are you mining LTC with the GPU or with the CPU?
If so, you can mine one alt in each.

There are also pools that support multiple alt at the same time.
Slush for example mines btc+nmc
