181  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: May 11, 2020, 09:32:46 AM
G. Donnarumma on Juventus radar, I think with current AC Milan rank, Gigi Donna will left AC Milan, since he want to play in Champions league. In other news, AC Milan will try to race for Jovic (Real Madrid) with 40m euro. Not just Jovic, AC Milan also reported will try to bring Mario Gotze from Dortmund with free transfer status.

AC Milan home leaked

Looks fantastic. It reminded me that Milan's old jerseys. Old and good times for Milan. Shevchenko should have worn this jersey.

I am not sure that Gotze will be good for Milan. He is capable of anything but Italian football mentality so hard. I think Gotze can play in La Liga with full performance.

Social Mining bittiğinde Ferrum Network takımının duyurusunda yer aldığı üzere topluluk odaklı etkileşimi ödüllendirecek bir ödül programı gelecek denilmişti. İşte bahsi geçen o ödül programı duyuruldu. Basit bir takım görevler yaparak ödül kazanabilirsiniz.

Quote
Top 1–5 : $25 a month in FRM
Top 5–10: $20 a month in FRM
Top 10–20: $15 a month in FRM
Top 20–40: $10 a month in FRM
Whoever has the most points after 3 months wins an extra $150 in FRM.

184  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will reach an astronomical all-time new high. on: May 10, 2020, 12:00:06 PM
Another topic that has been discussed many times before. In general, let me share the common point of the answers with you.

1- There is no certainty that the results of the future halvings and the future halvings will be one.

2- After halving, there may be some price retractions from time to time rather than momentary rises. You have to be careful.

3- After the second halving, it took more than 1 year for the price to reach the new ATH.

4- During the previous halvings, there were "much fewer cryptocurrencies" on the market than today, so the vast majority of money on the market came to Bitcoin. Now thousands of different cryptocurrencies are competing to attract more money.

5- The past can give us an idea for the future, but it is impossible to predict what will happen in the future!
185  Economy / Gambling / Re: Power of this forum... on: May 10, 2020, 08:25:13 AM
Evidently it proved how community power is. So there was a sense of solidarity with us here. In fact, this shows a very pleasing development that I have read. If you did not reference this forum, perhaps it would make it harder for you to ask for more and withdraw money.

We have a saying for such situations; strength comes from unity! (I know it looks a bit anarchic, but it's not.)
186  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: May 10, 2020, 08:16:45 AM
This reminds me of the days when I would take low risk bets with huge turn-over to gain a higher rank on Primedice back in the 2015-2016 days. For those of you who don't know they had a ranking system based on BTC roll-over and chat logs in the trollbox. The more you bet and the more you trolled on the trollbox you gained a higher rank. The higher ranks had bragging rights and other gems like a big 3000-4000 Sat faucet (keep in mind this was when BTC was $200).

Either way I figured, might as well bet 1 BTC on the lowest risk possible which was like 99% or something. So I did maybe 10 bets and I won all of them, figured I would go down to 0.50 BTC on base bet in case I get hit with a loss, again didn't lose in the next 10 bets. So far 20 bets all winner, lowered to 0.25BTC did the same, then at like 0.10 BTC bet I got a loss. Hence I decided to go back to 1 BTC base bet, figured what are the chances of hitting a loser anytime soon. And guess what, after like 8 rolls or so, bust. Entire 1 BTC gone.

Was pretty upset and was stunned for a while. Keep in mind this was like $200 or so back then.

Ah, the triggering point and downfall of all gamblers.

It's funny that our minds never get satisfied over small wins but a small loss is sufficient to start a chain reaction. Cheesy

Loss and earnings. It actually marks the times when it is hardest to think rationally. Because people tend to panic while losing and with enthusiasm while winning. Therefore, the safe always wins Smiley
I think people with strong psychology are more fortunate about gambling. Panic, rush, hurry, excitement, enthusiasm and emotional situations that can prevent people from thinking healthy can sometimes be dangerous. Apart from these situations, it is a great luxury to have fun while gambling. I think those who can live it are very lucky.
187  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: New to Wallets - Help on: May 10, 2020, 02:00:38 AM
Hi All,

So I started investing in Bitcoin maybe a year ago now and have always kept my BTC on the exchange. I have recently been investing more, and so am looking into using a software wallet.

All the questions you asked are actually on a number of key issues. Trust wallet or any other wallet deposit and withdraw options are generally the same. Again, wallets usually do not charge any fees for entities entering. (In some coins such as XRP, XLM, small amounts can be taken for activation for the first time.)
I do not think there is a need for any video guide as the wallet uses are similar and generally simple.

There are a lot of review about Trust wallet both in this forum and the internet. You can find a lot of details with a basic search. And you can always ask here or Trust Wallet's twitter page.
188  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Blockchain a Good Career? on: May 09, 2020, 08:33:13 PM
With no doubt, blockchain is one of the best careers one can pursue at the time. It is highly in demand and you get to be a part of something big. Not to mention, you will get high salaries in these top blockchain careers. It is due to the fact that the need for such positions are high and the people with relative knowledge are less. Among all the jobs required in the field, only half of them are being met. This means that there’s a shortage of blockchain professional with sufficient technical knowledge.

If we talk about top blockchain jobs salary, it depends on various factors like where you are working, what’s your skill sets and how much you are experienced. As a blockchain developer, you can get from as low as $50,000 to as high as $120,000 per year. Mostly, if you work in startups, you won’t get sky-high salaries and their packages typically start from 50,000 USD for freshers. If you have experienced above 5 years, you can earn around $70,000 annually.

Next comes the high techs firms that offer the highest salaries in the field. Initially, you can earn around $70,000 which increases with experience and after five years you can get as high as $120,000. The reason for such a big gap between the salaries of startups and established tech firms is due to the fact that blockchain developers are more interested in starting their own firms rather than working for others.

At last but not least, comes jobs at government institutions. You might not get the best salaries here but as you know govt. Jobs have their own benefits. The salary packages offered at govt. Institutions are even less than startup firms.

We cannot say that blockchain is a profession. Therefore, you must find a profession to build a career. We can describe working on a blockchain-based project as a career. In fact, I think it may be one of the most beautiful areas to work in today's conditions. I work as a community manager for several projects. Even if I am not fully involved in the project, I enjoy this job. In other words, working in the field of blockchain will create a beautiful vision for the near future.
189  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think that the price of bitcoin can come down to below? on: May 09, 2020, 02:38:08 PM
It has always been difficult to comment on such topics. Nobody knows exactly the direction of Bitcoin's price. As such, everyone can make predictions and write. The price moves differently compared to the previous halving processes. Nobody predicted the recent price increase. However, the price is in an upward trend. If 10,000 resistance breaks, the uptrend may continue.

Because this halving period interest in Bitcoin is very different from the previous ones. Thousands of Tweets about Twitter about halving are being taken every day. On some television channels we can see evaluations on halving. This time we may have a different course.
190  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: My Wallet's Reviews (Trust, Enjin, Infinito ...etc) on: May 08, 2020, 12:16:14 PM
For plebs, although it's bad OPSEC, I believe it MIGHT be OK to use a wallet to HODL some $100 worth of altcoins, but would you actually trust a wallet that's not fully open source for $500,000 worth of altcoins?

Nobody can claim otherwise in this regard. Hot wallets always pose risks. However, I have never encountered anyone who has had a big problem with the wallets I shared here.

Cold wallets should always be preferred for investments involving large sums. For this, you can find dozens of reviews written in the forum. Especially Ledger and Trezor may be one of the best options in this regard.
And if you want to see how important cold wallets are, watch the short film in the post I quoted below. This fan-made amateur movie can help you have a great half hour.

For HODLING your savings in cryptocurrencies, it's always better to over-shoot security, than under-shoot it in my opinion.

I would never recommend any wallet that isn't fully open source, especially to plebs who HODL with everything they have left.

I think it's all about the hot wallets you're talking about. In this case, can we find out what your suggestion is?
Choosing a wallet is not an easy task. If you want your assets to be safe, you need to be very careful. It also needs to be useful. My purpose in creating this topic is to find useful ones. I would be happy to see a topic on security.

For Bitcoin wallets, I would suggest users who want to HODL Bitcoin a large part of their life-savings to read Veriphi's wallet comparison, https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1aZ1zbaUEzCo9NCctN8-eL2VLIiSdY009tTJvRXDUWEw/edit?usp=sharing

For large part of life-savings in altcoins, use the official software.

For small amounts, use any wallet, BUT trusted sources.

I know that Veriphi's wallet reviews already. But I think it has not updated a while. I see that some newly released crypto wallets are not listed.
The subject of the wallet is really complicated. Usability, security, network status etc. It is not easy to evaluate them individually and make a healthy decision.

My personal preference is to evaluate my long-term investments in hardware wallets and my short-term investments in useful mobile wallets. Also, I do not forget to change my addresses in mobile wallets frequently.
191  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA : Complete Domestic Competitions! on: May 08, 2020, 12:11:37 PM
Well, we know already today there won't be French, Dutch or Belgian (LTU misses this out) seasons although PSG were crowned champions already and that league won't be fighting for places but does anyone know who represent Netherlands and Belgium at UEFA competitions next season?

Waiting for the Italian and Spanish leagues to continue this year would be a dreamy approach. I think it's better that they don't start. First of all, human health!
192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA : Complete Domestic Competitions! on: May 07, 2020, 01:47:10 PM
German Bundesliga will be back at 16th May (without fans)
Turkish SuperLeague will be back at 12th July (without fans)

Also English Premier League, Bulgarian League, Serbia and Crotia also will be back.

All of these leagues made an official announcement.

193  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who thinks Bitcoin will hit $250,000 by early 2023 on: May 06, 2020, 09:34:47 PM
Tim Draper predicts bitcoin will hit $250k?? Grin

"That's my prediction. Sticking with it. I'm very confident that that is going to happen. That’s happening. It's kind of funny."

My prediction bitcoin will be around $25 - $30k by 2023 becuase there will be alot of certainty regarding the economy.. Smiley

Crypto & Blockchain

Bitcoin, born from the Global Financial Crisis (GFC) of 2007-08, is now outperforming stocks and gold. With the bitcoin halving event scheduled to take place in 5 days, all eyes are heavily focussed on bitcoin, an asset that has only 21 million bitcoins in existence.

During the bitcoin halving, block rewards are cut in half from 12.5 to 6.25. To recoup the block reward reduction price loss, bitcoin miners postpone selling their bitcoins in order to sell them at a more profitable price several months, up to a year later.

In effect, supply is reduced on a month-by-month basis and each month after the halving, bitcoin becomes extra scarce. As a consequence, assuming that the demand stays the same, then the price of bitcoin will naturally increase each month. And, this is exactly what happened during the 2 previous bitcoin halvings.

First bitcoin halving: During 2012, the price of bitcoin increased from $11 to $1,000.
Second bitcoin halving: From 2016-17, the price ballooned from $700 to $20,000.
Third bitcoin halving: Scheduled on May 12, 2020 (the price impact is still yet to be seen).

After what we all seen the economy crashing oil price in the minus where does this leaves us??

As a result of the developments we have experienced to date, no one can say that BTC will never reach 250K. But when we think that the price of BTC is about 9K right now, we can say that the target is not easy. 3 years is a very long time and the future can always surprise us. I think the highest level BTC can reach is 100K. But what really excites me is what will happen to altcoins when they reach these levels.
194  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: walletscrutiny: the majority of "wallets" are either custodial or closed source on: May 06, 2020, 07:24:44 PM
I hope Unifyre is reviewed here soon.

If you share the Google Play link (or the appId), I will add it to WalletScrutiny.com but it will only be reviewed once it reaches 1000 downloads and if time allows. The priority is to provide timely evaluation of new releases of verifiable wallets and it's a side project, so ...

I will add soon. Their wallets is running test before completely publishing on the market. But if you want to get involved Unifyre test process, I may arrange something to you.
Please let me know if you interest test Ferrum's Unifyre Wallet beta test.
195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if every miner but 1 CPU stopped mining for 4 weeks? on: May 06, 2020, 07:22:23 PM
Although it is unrealistic I was curious what would happen to bitcoins mining algorithm and hash rate.

As you said, I don't know how meaningful it is to comment on an unrealistic topic. At worst, however, the difficulty level is adjusted within the next 14 days and mining continues.
196  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Advantages of crypto on: May 06, 2020, 01:40:56 PM

cons :

unregulated
bad reputation
many scams

There is no need to think about pros.
But we can discuss about cons:

Unregulated: Yet! So, It can only be a matter of time before legal regulations come to the market.
Bad Reputation: Which bad reputation we are talking about here? Because I am not aware of any bad reputation!
Many scams: Scams everywhere. It's not just crypto. You can see this everywhere in the Internet world. When there is a problem in this regard, the type of payment comes to the fore, not the evil itself.
197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First 6.25 bitcoin block on: May 06, 2020, 09:29:38 AM

2. Mining is mining and bitcoin is bitcoin ?

Miners will try to win that block rewards. We all will see together who will get it.
As a result, they have been competing for 12.5 BTC so far, after today they will compete for 6.25. I think there is nothing to worry about in the system. Don't worry, everyone will get used to the block reward being 6.25BTC.
198  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee says he received call from Satoshi Nakamoto asking not to be reveal on: May 06, 2020, 08:34:20 AM
Really? again? He is saying that is about to reveal who Satoshi is, DÉJÀ VU, I've saw this so many times.
John McAfee said he not only knows who Satoshi Nakamoto is but he received a call from the creator of Bitcoin asking that his name not be revealed for fear of complications with the government and his personal safety.

Source:
https://cointelegraph.com/news/john-mcafee-knows-who-satoshi-nakamoto-is

When will we stop taking this man seriously? Nothing that the man has said so far and turned out to be true. Even if we ask him, he may not be able to properly pronounce his name.
He certainly does not know Satoshi. He can never prove it! He uses the name Satoshi just to stay on the agenda.

200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for a Wallet APP that supports any ERC20 TOKENS on: May 05, 2020, 12:11:50 PM
I was using a free Mobile Wallet app, where i had send some new ERC20 TOKENS to the Ether Address in the wallet. Later i found it only support major TOKENS.
I can't able to send the tokens out, since i dont have access to PVT KEY.
Do you still have the backup phrase of the wallet where you sent your tokens?

If so then it's possible to retrieve the private key of the Ether address you used, after getting the Private key you can Import it to a trusted wallet like MetaMask, IMtoken, Trust wallet etc as suggested by members above. You will be able to view your ERC20 tokens

Carefully Follow the instruction i shared to someone back on how to retrieve a private key from such wallets that don't show them

For the case of USDC, it's an ERC20 token that means you may be interested in recovering private keys to the ether address.
1. Visit https://iancoleman.io/bip39/ and after the page has loaded turn off your internet connection

2. Select 12 words under the "Generate a random mnemonic" line

3. Copy and paste or write your 12 word mnemonic phrase from your trust wallet ( I hope you know the procedure of getting it) into the "BIP39 Mnemonic" box space

4. After calculation is done, Scroll down and under the Coin section, select the chain of your choice, in the case of USDC, it's Ethereum

5. After that select the derivation path, for Ethereum that will be BIP32, you will be able to see the derived ether addresses and the respective Private keys. Usually the first address is the one that appears on the newly created wallet by default.
Be sure to check and confirm if both addresses much before you can back up the private key.

I hope it helps you

Don't worry about the tool, but to be much safer, make sure your PC is offline while you preform the procedure.
Here is the source code in case you would love to check out things for yourself: https://github.com/iancoleman/bip39

After doing this, my advice is to move all the assets in the wallet to a new wallet. Until now, there has been no problem with the wallets recovered in this way, but why would we want to take risks, even the smallest?
