No one force you to mine XUN. You are free to stop mining and leave. Starting to mine this. Huge fan of XDN. They really pissed me off... although I still own my stash out of hope. Meanwhile I will do something productive and help out this awesome tech...let's do this! NO ICO, you guys get it. I can help with graphics BTW! EDIT: on second look the supply is way too high and block reward way too low...makes no sense.
No shit nobody is forcing me to mine it. I stopped mining after wasting 20 minutes after I saw how many coins total and the block reward rate. Is there a logical reason for that which you can explain? Seems like that would be a more appropriate response than "stop mining and leave". I guess it's a confirmed shitcoin? That's sad I had high hopes.

Although the ICCO could be a disappointment, it's just a bump in the road IMO. The whole coin isn't just going to die just because the ICCO coins don't sell. Yeah the price may fluctuate more but that is quite different from dead. Honestly I didn't contribute to the ICCO because I wasn't sold on it from the get go. It's an interesting idea but I just felt like the deal needed more value. I think if the original terms were kept maybe the price would be okay--whatever. That aside, I am still a long term bull...while devs do not visit here anymore (I wouldn't either) and can be cryptic at times, they are reachable on Ryver and they have created valuable tech with consistent updates for the last 3 years. I understand the disbelief in devs by some (and disappointment in price by others), but it's not my personal concern...yes, in the long run "price matters" and so does communication, but from my perspective it looks like these things are progressing and things are getting better rather than worse. Lack of information in many is clear but I can see why that is so with the format and disconnection of conversations here and there etc...a lot of people new to crypto panicking as well. All-in-all it's just another crypto roller coaster. Also like CryptoJohn says...there are others devs working on XDN projects and some planning future projects. I also have something up my sleeve as well (whether XDN or XDN fork), sent a PM to keep in touch.

I am on Ubuntu 14.04, XDN-project Cryptonote-Universal-Pool, and nodeJS 0.10.48. I've done a lot of code updates on my version now because I see that the block format of XDN has changed twice in the last year. The first change was with the inclusion of Merged Mining in November 2016, the second change was in January 2017 with a block size update and miner update (XMR RingCT code added for XMR merged mining). I will send you a message on Ryver thank you.

If anyone has experience in setting up a Cryptonote-Universal-Pool help would be greatly appreciated. I'm working on getting a pool ready for XDN and I have the VPS up and server is stable but when a miner connects the node gives error: Error: Failed to parse block at Object.BlockTemplate.nextBlob etc I saw someone else had a similar issue here ( https://monero.stackexchange.com/questions/1603/cryptonote-universal-pool-stratum-authentication-failed/4386#4386) even though they are talking about Monero. I tried using LucasJones's version of cryptonote-utils and it fixes the error server side when miners try and connect but then the miners get error "Stratum Authentication failed"...any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you. EDIT: It seems that I need to go without the LucasJones revision (as that is some sort of address authentication error on top of the real errors). The blob error seems to be due to old code interfacing with XDN after they added merged mining. Would like to get this fixed ASAP if anyone knows how.
