Some friend of mine told me about this new project. I checked the site and web wallets. Looks good but i have lots of questions before investing. Lots of questions. Too many scams pop every day :
1. Is this new software ? It looks like new software but better asking. Java based ?
2. I have 2 addresses on 2 web wallets. I have sent a message from address A to address B. On help says the message is encrypted. How does address B knows the encryption key ? I have never used address B. The key is included in the message ?
3. When you send a transaction with a message, is the message encrypted ?
4. I want to post some ads. I want my ads to be displayed first ? How can i do that. I have to pay more ? The ads will appear on all web wallets ?
1. It's 100% new software. The web interface is written in PHP. The java web kernel is....java  The web interface and the java kernel communicate each other through mysql. But Oracle or other relational databases can be also used. Java kernel is permanently connected to the p2p network and writes all changes to mysql. The web interface reads the data directly from db. Usually, you have a node that can be accessed through a JSON interface (bitcoin case) but i think this method of is not flexible enough. For example, in MaskNetwork case, you can have the web interface on one server, the mysql db on another server and the java kernel hosted on another server. An attacker that gets access to the web node which is the first line of defence, will find no private keys. He / she will not even know where the java kernel is hosted because the web node connects to the db server. You can also have multiple web nodes connected to a single db communicating with multiple java kernels, for redundancy. 2. A MaskNetwork address is an ECC public key. It's basically the base64 encoded form of the raw public key bytes. When someone gives you an address, you can send encrypted messages right away. So, the messages you send, are encrypted using address B public key and only address B can decrypt them, even if address B has never been used before. This is why a MSK address is so long and "ugly". Fortunately you can rent an address name in 2 clicks... 3. The message is encrypted. Same rules apply. 4. The ads will be visible on all wallets after they are included in a block. The ads are displayed based on how much you pay (market bid field on new ad dialog). Interesting idea ... but the java is a turn off. And mysql is your solution to leveldb? (-__-) |

I haven't seen any local wallets like that but you can use Cryptsy that way.
Don't cryptsy is a scam, it will be soon offline completly. People reporting that they can't withdraw funds since months. That, and when will people stop treating exchanges as wallets? If you don't control your private keys you don't own your coins. It's that simple. |

I agree that you should post what you are willing to pay people that participate in this survey. Otherwise it sounds fishy as hell. Will consider this untrustworthy until proven otherwise.
EDIT: In another thread you are seeking a 0.03 btc loan. I'm not convinced you can acctually pay out unless you use forum escrow for this.

combined? unlikely... longer than me? probably... its 18yrs with internet for me and 29yrs coding (i coded my first program when i was six years old and with eight i had developed my first own database ;-) ) I was playing space invaders loaded from cassette tapes on my TRS-80 no joke.. my step dad bought it at radio shack i think and i got home from school and he said check this out ! So yeah i was on the internet before most of these cocky snotty little pukes were even born. Hate me all you want over it but it's true.. sorry  And pretty much every complaint i ever had about my posting style was.. My comments are too long. Take some ADD med's kids.. or maybe stick to Twitter. Anyway, I would EXPECT most people around here to hate on me.. there needed to be yet another Poll asking ? I think the little agenda here is simply to discredit what i say for the newcomers (audience) I think what i say should be judged equally with any other comment here (from anyone else) I present my sincere and genuine opinion on very specific points.. nobody has to agree with me. So.. go back to buying more cheap Monero nom nom nom Ah the Trash-80 I had one of those too ... so many hours typing programs in Extended colored basic. The memories. *sigh* |

IMO Cryptsy's FUD period has been great for UNO. I used some extra BTC to shake out some 'trex/'ptsy arbitrage profits and was able to get myself a shiny new pile of cheap UNO. Will be interesting to see what happens with the big C. I have a feeling they'll recover... Things really started to go squirely for their withdrawals when they implemented that new tier system.
The reason I think Cryptsy will recover and stick around is that there is such a huge opportunity for an exchange to maintain health prior to the masses discovering altcoin trading. As more and more people discover BTC, more and more will discover the alts. As the Global Financial Reset unfolds I think we'll see a rush to cryptos and over time a move into trading alts, as a sort of new age Forex. UNO is so nicely positioned for these newcomers (no inflation, low float, huge hash, megawallet less mega than ever).
The reason I think Cryptsy will stick around for a while is because everybody cries too fucking much and gets their vaginas hurt when they can't touch their play money for a few days 'cause Vern's computer is done broke.I am enjoying trading this. Your fear supercharges my greed. Awesome trading times. Cryptsy is probably too big to bother failing. It makes more money alive for Big Vern than it ever would dead. What would be the point? +1 for favouritism, there is more than enough evidence here against shorena, who has doublebot scammed? I guess people here are afraid of people on DT You are still promoting a ponzi/scam site , shorena ... no he is not promoting a scam. I think this is the simple difference between you and him. Pretty much this. I am happy to remove any negative trust I place when an issue is resolved - in this case when a person is no longer actively promoting a scam. |

Soon. I dont want to say today because the problem we are working on is complex. I will say we are working non stop on this. Everyone that knows me, also knows Im telling the truth. Youll notice the fly wallet , input small transactions. Thats us testing the code. Thanks for understanding. Vegas Do you guys have an irc channel or do the devs talk anywhere?
