101  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't stress too much due to the bear market on: March 02, 2019, 08:47:34 PM
Bear markets are happy times for real investors, they know that it's time to convert their fiat currencies for crypto. Any time there is spare pocket change that should be used straight away
102  Economy / Economics / Re: Does Pump is Coming on: March 02, 2019, 08:45:23 PM
When those miners start to activate then the difficulty levels will rise along with the price. This activation will cause a dramatic spike in the prices so you need to be hodling before that
103  Economy / Economics / Re: California Governor Believes Blockchain Is The Key To Securing Data on: February 27, 2019, 09:16:58 PM
He is trying to encourage silicon valley to adapt and become the global hub for crypto, sadly US laws are not suitable so it will be somewhere like Malta instead
104  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin improvement on: February 27, 2019, 04:49:07 PM
Considering that prices are 90% lower than their all time high there is plenty of space to grow. It's a game of patience to hodl until it goes back up again, and then even more
105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Binance CEO Paints a Rosy Picture on: February 27, 2019, 04:42:31 PM
Prices are down right now so his shoots of recovery are too early to call. Keep in mind that he needs to encourage trading to keep his exchange alivel
106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk Calls Bitcoin A Brilliant Technology, Even Better Than Paper Money on: February 27, 2019, 04:37:12 PM
As one of the founders of paypal he can easily create a crypto version that will be able to compete with his old company. This will be bigger than anything we've ever seen
107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bakkt the Future of Bitcoin and cryptoworld? on: February 27, 2019, 04:33:48 PM
Bakkt will not make it scarier for newbies to adopt, but will make it more expensive as an entry point. As institutional money flows in, prices for crypto will rise
108  Economy / Economics / Re: Quadriga CEO Death - Real or fractional banking? on: February 26, 2019, 08:41:08 PM
I doubt he faked his death but there is a question mark over those private keys. I am betting that he passed them on to someone else on his death bed. Sooner or later, those coins are going to move
109  Economy / Economics / Re: Bull VS Bear Markets, How Do You Tell The Difference!? on: February 26, 2019, 08:34:36 PM
It looked like we were at the beginning of a bull run already but that went to hell. There is no way to know for sure due to the amount of manipulation that takes place, another bull trap is brewing
110  Economy / Economics / Re: Are off shore bank accounts worth it? (US citizens) on: February 26, 2019, 08:23:14 PM
It depends if you want to support your country. Offshore accounts encourages taxes to be avoided and national debt to increase. Although my preference is to go with bitcoin instead and not support any bank in any country
111  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Whales have accumulated thousands of coins in last 2 months on: February 26, 2019, 08:17:13 PM
It is whales that are causing the ETF to be rejected and delayed over and over again. Do they not realise that manipulation is the reason why the ETF hasn't happened, and if they allow it to be stable for a bit longer we can finally get it!
112  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't stress too much due to the bear market on: February 26, 2019, 08:11:24 PM
These charts are useful for guessing the next step but it's impossible to know for sure when the next bull run is going to happen. Most of us thought it started a week ago, until that dump happened
113  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Mass Adoption Roadshow events start in Makati on: February 22, 2019, 10:03:14 PM
There aren't any prominent coins coming from the Philippines so they will be promoting crypto currency use in their own country. Their leader seems to be pro bitcoin so good times ahead for those guys
114  Economy / Economics / Re: Comparison between the wallet Balance of BANKS vs CRYPTO EXCHANGES on: February 22, 2019, 09:58:48 PM
There aren't enough crypto users to store their bitcoins on coinbase to match the big banks. However, when the value of bitcoin rises there will be a closer comparison. Gemini will probably move up as well
115  Economy / Economics / Re: A Blockchain Project that cannnot be resisted on: February 22, 2019, 09:47:55 PM
The US treasury is printing money out of thin air and are now 20 trillion dollars in debt. It is clearly not a good idea, better to stick with bitcoin and it's deflationary policies
116  Economy / Economics / Re: On value dilution on: February 22, 2019, 09:40:51 PM
Bitoin cannot do everything that a decentralised platform needs to do. Bitcoin is a store of value like gold, while altcoins do everything else. Only shitcoins dilute the value of bitcoin
117  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the effect of adding a bitcoin currency symbol to iOS? on: February 22, 2019, 09:35:14 PM
It means Google has recognised that bitcoin is not a passing fad that will go away, this baby is here to stay for the long run. I'm going almost all in with crypto, last chance before the train leaves
118  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk calls crypto “quite energy intensive” on: February 20, 2019, 09:26:32 PM
If he thinks it is too energy intensive he should develop a renewable fuel based battery so we can all mine for free. Anyway, it's good that he has something positive to say about bitcoin in general, better than warren buffet's opinion
119  Economy / Economics / Re: What are the odds that the government/banks will truly create their own coin? on: February 17, 2019, 09:29:20 PM
We're seeing it already. Venezuela made their own, and iran is making their crypto rial, russia doing theirs on the rouble. Last week we saw jpm make their own coin. It's happening right now, crypto is going mainstream!
120  Economy / Economics / Re: The Future Of Blockchain: Fintech 50 2019 on: February 17, 2019, 09:26:48 PM
Alliances may form but i can't see it happening. Each will want their own coins to succeed over the other. No way we will see ripple joining forces with stellar to take on the bankers
