This is not good. We should create our own eBay. cryptoEbay
They always end up getting closed down. 10 years ago sites like this were pretty common in Bitcoin. Unfortunately over the last decade Bitcoin use cases have been getting squashed by regulators faster than new innovation has occurred. This has led us to where we are now…pushing Bitcoin as a store of value. Support innovators and new use cases! its a tragedy and it sucks!!!

Hey, it is an interesting topic.
In my experience, most galleries are not interested because the audience is simply “still” too small. Some galleries are of course open and delighted when more “traditionally known” artists work with NFTs and other digital layers and have a target audience for it, but in my perception “CryptoArt” is simply not established enough yet.... And even less if we want to talk about “Bitcoin Art” in particular.
“Crypto Art” / “Bitcoin Art” is still more by and for crypto people at the moment, isn't it? Most collectors have a strong affinity to cryptos, but this group of collectors is generally still small and not very relevant in the art scene.
We don't even need to discuss the fact that blockchain has changed “digital art” forever. NFTs, Ordinals, everything around WEB3 is revolutionary and, in my opinion, still unrecognized. The legendary Beeple Drop in 2021 has certainly changed awareness, but unfortunately, in combination with the strong setback or bear market, it also left a stale taste that NFTs are a scam.
There are always well-known artists like Hirst and others who do something with NFTs, but the big breakthrough has yet to happen. This would require an alliance of galleries such as the Königsgallerie in New York and other large established galleries that are firmly committed to “art on the blockchain”. It's probably all a big process.
It's also important to remember that gallery and museum curators live in their bubble and have a particular view of art.... Not all physicals centered around Bitcoin and its ideology, history, characters, memes and so on will be considered here, although they will be considered worthy of attention from our perspective.
For sure CryptoArt has its spot in the history of art.... the process is ongoing and in the end an artwork is only that much worth, how much a buyer is ready to pay.

The story of Didi Taihuttu and his family! The Bitcoin family! is also very interesting and could be worthy of a cartoon article. They sold their house and all possessions in 2017 to buy Bitcoin, they emigrated from the Netherlands to Portugal and have been traveling the world spreading the word about Bitcoin. https://thebitcoinfamily.comOH YEAH... how could I forget Didi!!

This is awesome! I love that style (sketch and illustration). I once gave a suggestion to someone to make a comic about Bitcoin in Indonesian sub-forum. I don't know if he did or not.
Could I suggest just a little? To be presented to the public, I prefer stories that are easy to digest. For example:
Bitcoin is a good villain, known as BTC. He has a bunker on top of the highest mountain in Talkin city, which is also his main base. He has super modern stuff and combat machines with advanced technology that is not recognized. One day a world defender named Mr. Fiat was assigned to kill BTC under the name of Gehenna Operation; he became the leader of the operation. Please continue, haha.
Thanks for the input sir!

Some of the best real life stories I've ever heard about bitcoin are.
1) Venezuelans using free electricity generated by the caracas dam to mine bitcoin and provide for themselves and their families during a time when venezuela's economy was in poor shape.
2) Cuban immigrants in the USA using bitcoin to send money home to their families in cuba using bitcoin.
3) Bitcoin being mined by sources of environmentally friendly electricity, such as surplus hydroelectric power generated by dams. Which in turn helps to fund the future expansion of renewable sources of energy.
4) Bitcoin being used by the homeless, poor and global (4 billion) unbanked demographics as a means of digital payment.
What about that man who traded his Bitcoins to a box of pizza? To some it is nothing but for sure there's a deeper meaning. What happened in that instance just showed how far this industry have become. Before, people were still in doubt of this technology that they threw their assets when the price was still low because fee people supported this blockchain before. On the instance I've mentioned, the guy was just in deep regret from doing so but in reality, he just chose his comfort and we cannot blame him in the first place. It is always on the investor whether to continue or not so for sure, way back that particular time, the guy who traded his bitcoin to pizza, was hopeless with the development of this industry at the present. You are right, the PIZZA story is definitely worth a comic story!

Pretty lady sitting at the bar. Man walks up to her and request for a dance and to buy her a drink. Lady says I would grant you your wish if you tell me about bitcoin. Man knows nothing about bitcoin and walks away. Second, third and fourth man approaches her and are turned down because they do not know anything about bitcoin. She's disappointed. Waiter at looks her and starts telling her all he knows about bitcoin. She's surprised. She's falling for him. And as she leans in grab his hand, waiter says, sorry I am married.
Love that!
