And seriously why don't they just delete this bullshit thread.
They shouldn't delete the thread. Censorship is bad. Just hope that people will have a bit of common sense and treat it with a healthy dose of scepticism. you're right, I just wanted to know who and why my post was deleted. And I admit it was a stupid post. I actually hate begging for anything even if I was in need. But you have to know me personally to know what kind of person I am. Stupid sometimes but generally a nice guy Cheers. edit. Sorry, now I'm way off topic.

hi cxboyminer,
wasn't your group buy for UK/EU originally?
why has it changed to "[GROUP BUY WORLDWIDE]"?
Are you trying to take all business for yourself?
and how come you seem to be having frequent discussions with Bitmain but no one else can?
You and Bitmain should be more open. why all the secrecy? Seriously?
am I the only one that can see through this and see what's happening here? Someone back me up PLEASE.

I had posted here with joke about sending BTC to my BTC address in my profile.
and this post was deleted, Just want to know why and was it the OP that deleted this post.
and probably this post will be deleted also, fuck knows why???
Maybe a mod considered it begging? You should get a message when it's deleted. This thread is not self-moderated, so it was probably a mod. thanks, I didn't know that mods did this especially for this ridicules thread. anyway it was a joke and didn't expect to get anything, and if I did I would of panicked with stolen BTC in my wallet, if true. I did get message see below, and it doesn't say anything about shouldn't beg. Maybe they should include why message was deleted as it would help dummies like me And seriously why don't they just delete this bullshit thread. But I suppose there are dummer people than me. It's dum and dummer here. You have just been sent a personal message by Bitcoin Forum on Bitcoin Forum.

Maybe bitcoins will finally return to the value of their actual utility instead of speculative betting on possible future uses. Did people expect bitcoin to continue doubling in price every week?
Care to name that actual utility price? I don't think that using bitcoin as a currency is something outside bitcoins utility. It's just that china ruined it. I think the Chinese shouldn't panic, they are savers and in the long term things will change. The German government has accepted bitcoin as legal currency recently. http://youtu.be/okNhH7EoV6I other countries will follow. it's probably a good time to start buying, otherwise will be kick ourselves when it goes up and over $1000 next year.

So received my Nov Jupiter.
Can't connect to machine by either SSH or webpage. It is assigned an IP address just can't connect. Even ping gets no response but not sure if the BBB is setup to respond to ping.
If I disconnect all 4 ASIC boards I can connect to the host and access web gui with no issues. Reconnect the ASIC boards, can't connect. Tried connecting just one ASIC board with same results. Tried two different power supplies with the same results.
Anyone had anything like this or am I just SOL?
have you tried disconnecting the data cables to the ASIC boards but leave the power connected? Not that this will fix anything but you can eliminate the ASIC boards are faulty. just to see if it's a comms problem, because that's what it seems. and only because you say all the asic boards are doing the same thing.

Could you use the flat bar (on the processor side) and the integrated bracket that came unglued to make a sandwich around the heatpipes? Then use a c-clamp or locking pliers (vise-grips) to squeeze all four pipes back into proper alignment?
Just use a full tube of thermal paste! That'll fix it right up! lol
or you could just buy a new one. to easy.. job done

Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Announcement: Bitmain launches AntMiner solution, 0.68 J/GH on chip

... that auction is over. BITMAIN - Please start another one or start selling direct please! No! They need to get the U1's out first. There's a market sitting here waiting for a product and a lot more folks are willing to pick up reasonably priced small units than 4+ BTC larger scale miners. They crack whatever issue they have with the U1's and the floodgates are going to open for 'em. I'm under the impression they are planning to produce both simulataniously? Not sure how they can handle selling U1's without a lot of resellers. Not sure if the ASICminer groupbuy resellers will be able to distribute them but if they do this will make record sales. Hell, I'd run a US group buy to compliment cxboyminer's EU one just to ease shipping costs and concerns if that is what it would take. We've also got other folks who are interested in bulk purchase for further resale, so there is no shortage of folks who are either looking to buy more than a few or who can host group buys. Heck, I've made a few hundred in trading over the last few days that I'd love to turn into hardware if we just knew a price and an availability date. I would be also interested in doing group buy for Australia... But I'd prefer reselling here on forum as the ASICMiner guys had done. I don't how many here bought from these AU guys ' dadj' and ' julz', they were gentlemen and were fantastic at their job. They first were supplied the USB miners in their country and then they resold and distributed them., They always shipped next day to buyers and all their customers couldn't of been happier. They/ASICMiner nearly always dropped prices every difficulty rise making it perfect for buyers to keep coming back buying more. This is how business was done ASICMiner style. This is why ASICMiner is the biggest ASIC miner manufacturer on the planet. If Bitmain does this RIGHT, they could even give ASICMiner a run for their money and potentially be the next BIG boys in the ASIC/Bitcoin world. Come on Bitmain, what are you waiting for? Here endeth the lesson EDIT. and I'd also bulk buy to resell to my existing customers here in AU that don't use this forum.

You've probably seen this or similar written elsewhere. "The past is not a guide to the future and you may get back less than you originally invested." again, someone who doesn't have a clue. It really doesn't have anything to do with past, but everything to do with the future. I'm by far no bitcoin expert and not even that good at math, but I will at least try and understand how it sort of works. Below is a simple way I try to explain bitcoin's value. world fiat dollar market cap or dollar amount used in the world (just an example), probably much higher. Lets say it's 7 trillion dollars and bitcoin can take just 1% percent of that. look below at my basic math. $7,000,000,000,000 total fiat currency used in the world $70,000,000,000 1% of of above amount BTC13,000,000 amount of bitcoins in existence today $70,000,000,000 / BTC13,000,000 = $5,384.61 each bitcoin (don't forget this is if bitcoin could only take 1% which it will definitely do and much more) now if someone with better explanation could please elaborate and correct me if I'm way off or incorrect in my calculations. Cheers merv77 Those aren't calculations, they're wild speculations. I'm mining btc and believe in btc. It's not a certainty bitcoin will achieve any of what you're claiming. And to assert it as truth is arrogant and frankly ridiculous. I hope it happens but I'm not staking my entire future on it and neither should anyone else, that said if you're prepared to take the risk then all power to you. seriously, I think you should read the headlines and why would you even buy a miner if you don't believe in it. fuck man, even governments and countries believe more than you. http://youtu.be/okNhH7EoV6I who's going to be following the Germans

Ha, I knew 100,000 is possible. But I think it will take around 20 years. I think bitcoin can go both ways - 1. It'll hit skyhigh - tens of thousands to hundreds of thousand 2. It'll die. Just die, completely. I'm hoping for the first option, but IMO it's pretty unpredictable. how would it die? what do you think can kill bitcoin? easier to predict that it cannot die. it's already accepted in most countries, it's already being used by thousands of businesses ( http://coinmap.org/), and ten's of thousands of businesses use Bitpay to accept bitcoin related transactions. Impossible to kill off now. It's too late to shut the stable door after the horse has bolted EDIT. these are few well known places that accept BTC: Amazon, Richard Branson-buy a trip to space, University of Nicosia, bitcoin ATM's, etc, etc...
