Hiya, just checked out your website and it looks cool. The graphics and layout is nice and in English. I am just wondering however what this means "Airdrop Until 55.555.555 LGR"? I am not sure but isn't that your airdrop stock? So until what date is the airdrop running? Any requirements for this campaign? Tried to use the form in the website but it gives an error "Ethereum address or mail address exist in our systems". Not sure if that is the form used to participate in the airdrop.

Before going to bed last night, I was able to join your Telegram channel which the developer was very welcoming. I was also able to review the website and the white paper. Though the platform is only set up for organizational or large companies fundraising right now, I hope that this project will progress as planned that individual users will be able to utilize it as well competing with the likes of GoFundMe. It's a great project that I am sure will be successful. On another note, I did sign up for the campaign and will be promoting the project and will be providing the Twitter links in a bit.

Hello, I just went to your website and it looks very futuristic. I did take the time to pull up your whitepaper and though I did not thoroughly read every page as I only glanced over the entire document and reading parts that I thought was important, I think your project idea is sound so far. I think this will be a place where a lot of people in this forum can utilize. In that note, I hope the best for your project and hopefully things will progressed as you guys have laid out in your roadmap.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: New ERC-20 Token "KYOMU"

Interesting. So you are just posting and promoting a token that is nothing, no value, no meaning, no purpose in here to waste people's time? You said this token is a joke then why go through all of this effort posting and requesting for more to learn more about it if just a joke? There is nothing. You can only fell the emptiness. Well, in fact this token is a joke. It means nothing. Hi. Kyomu(虚無) means "emptiness" in Japanese. so This token expresses "emptiness". There is not any benefit gained by having this token. But buying empty is the greatest luxury. Because there is no meaning there. Buy emptiness and feel the emptiness. You can see more information from website https://yukkurisinai.github.io/kyomu-token/en.index.htmlThis token has been requested to be listed on Coinsmarkets. thanks. Beside this what is future development plan you have or this is final that you had created this token on Ethereum blockchain. People would like to know what is use case instead of meaning of that Japanese word.

Calata is doing this because he thinks it is more beneficial and easier for him after his company got delisted. Due to the delisting, he is now required to make a "tender offer" to public investors who want to leave before it goes back to being a private company. He previously made a statement that the company could not afford the tender offer possibly could cost him P1 billion because he only has P400 million in retained earnings. I do not know if this guy is trustworthy. He seems iffy to me.

Local / Pilipinas / Re: May batas na po ba tungkol sa bitcoin?
|
on: October 30, 2017, 09:24:13 PM

I am not sure if meron ng batas sa Pilipinas about bitcoin, however, just this year the Central Bank of the Philippines released new guidelines for bitcoin exchanges that are operating in the country. What that means is that the Philippines officially legitimized bitcoin as a payment method. In the United States, it is legal to use bitcoin and payments are subject to the same taxes and reporting requirements just like any other currency. Actually here in the States, there are CPAs who specialize in bitcoin tax filing since it is a little bit different than filing it as a regular salary. There have been talks about regulating it and there are US States that are working on legislation to tackle digital currency.

Hello po. I just saw this thread and thought it's really nice of you to offer to teach people. I am just wondering if there is a way I can learn from you and how to reach you outside this forum. That is of course if you are still willing to take more people to teach. I would be honored to learn more things about bitcoin and how to trade it. Thank you!

Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin, nagagamit daw sa pangsscam sabi ni Ted Failon? Anu po opinyon nyo dun?
|

In your post header you said "nagagamit daw sa pangscam" according to Ted Failon. You know, as harsh that may be for everyone that is on this forum, it is actually true. Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies can be used in so many different ways for illegal practices and scam. Why is that hard to say yeah that is true but there are also good things about bitcoin. Not every project or programs based on bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are a scam. I think we have to face the reality that that scams are happening all around. It is not just in the bitcoin and cryptocurrency world though. There are a lot of people out there who do not have any regard for other people and do not have any moral compass whatsoever who can take advantage of digital currency. This is one of those things that we need to face and admit that it is going on and that's why measures should be taken so that all these illegal practices will be prevented and reduced.

Of course. That is not hard to see at all. I am not sure why it is hard to see how illegal practices could fester in the world of cryptocurrency or digital money. I actually believe that it is a perfect place for people who do not have any moral compass to get into and take advantage of people who are gullible and vulnerable. If you go around and read the forums especially in Altcoin Discussion, there's a lot of thread posted in there that talk about projects that are scams. Moreover, I think everyone knows that bitcoin is the currency of choice in the dark web. That should say a lot right there about how digital money can attract a lot of questionable people and criminals. If you search on the internet you can find a multitude of news about arrests on fraud and scam regarding bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.

Hello Shendy, this is just talking about campaign contributions. This is not about using your bitcoins to pay for goods and services. They are prohibiting the use of bitcoin to donate during campaigns or elections because it is untraceable. This is to prevent influx of money to campaigns or during elections from unidentifiable people. That is not a bad thing. As an American I would not want that either. I do not want the possibility of foreign government or people being able to influence American election.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Regulated ICO, should this become a norm?
|
on: October 27, 2017, 03:44:29 PM
|
I'm all up for some kind of regulation. The moral hazard that is going on right now in the world of bitcoin and ICO's is quite high. People do not always do what is right and are selfish to only do what could benefit them. The legal uncertainty in the crypto world is of the great amount so I do not see why regulating ICO is a bad thing. I think it is very important to protect the investor and to decrease illegal practices. If the trend of illegal practices and scams will keep going then it will not do anything but harm the crypto world. Investors will make regular investors associate and avoid the space. The interest will go down swiftly. Billionaire investor Warren Buffet has been speaking out lately about the bitcoin market being in the bubble territory. All of these bad practices are not going to help change minds of people who are critical and skeptical of bitcoin and cryptocurrency.

I am not sure if bitcoin and airdrops going mainstream would be a good thing or not. I am leaning towards it not being such a good thing. Right now, hindi ako alam ang census ng bitcointalk.org members but imagine the influx of people in here. That might not be a good thing. Moreover, the rise of participants has a direct effect on your chances of getting the rewards of the airdrops. So I guess chances mo ay lower. Right now, I would say that the community is still manageable but put millions of people sa Pilipinas who wants to join then It will change the game in so many ways. This is like gold rush back in the days. Considering we do not even know how long all these airdrops will last, putting bitcoin airdrops in mainstream might not be such a good idea in my opinion. Now, if we talk about promoting bitcoin use for transactions, remittances and all that then that is different. That is another aspect of the bitcoin that should be promoted so that bitcoin will last and here to stay.

Wow, hobby ng coworker mo?! Astig ha. I am just wondering how much they are making. They must already have tons of money to be making mining as their hobby. How many mining rigs do they have? Have you ever asked? Bitcoin mining can be profitable in the long run I believe but you must also invest a considerable amount of money in a good mining rig. Not only do you need to invest money but also time when it comes to mining.
