You can render some services for Bitcoin.
After a few days if you have enough posts and the required activity you can even sell your signature space. My current pays 0.08 BTC a month which is not much, but free money.

Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin when will it go back up?

..... After all the holding speculators give up, and start spending coins. Speculation won't make the price go up if new buyers aren't showing up. New buyers only show up when the trend is going up. The trend doesn't go up unless BTC shows it has value by being used.
Selling makes the price go down. Presently all retailers of any note cash out to fiat instantly. Holding and buying is what causes the price to go up. Even if all of us Hodled, price would still go down as new coins are coming in everyday. This might be a slow year, but I am in no hurry.

Does it really matter so much to buy it at $350 or $400 if you believe it will be $10000 someday? It's highly possible you miss the train to gain 25x only because you are waiting for a 15% off sale.
So far it has meant that I have more Bitcoins and so if it goes to 5000 or 10000 I will be much richer. The main issue is that you think it is highly possible to miss, while I think its somewhat possible. If it does show the low price trend is over I will buy in at a small loss. I have already bought in some at 420. I'll buy thousands if it goes to single digits. So I am keeping a big amount at that range (unfortunately it will not happens :-( )
If it goes to single digits, I don't think I'd buy any. Surely it would mean bitcoin is finished. I also consider a possibility, though one to which I attribute low probability of happening.

I'm very happy for all of you that were able to buy at the $350 range but at same time I must admit I'm a little jealous! There's a good change we'll hit it again. I'm not sure what Risto's thoughts on that are, but analysis of this giant wedge we're in on the one day charts would indicate we could reach that low in the next few weeks before breaking out. I don't think it will go any lower than that though. Do you think that the April low at $338 was the bottom for this bubble? I am quite confident it will go to 350 again. I am keeping a small amount at that range in case it does. Keep in mind its not based on fancy analysis or charts, but things have usually been working out for me. Sometimes you may end up getting some crazy deal like when it went down to 102 at Btc-e.

Economy / Speculation / Re: Final Warning to Those Still Holding Fiat!

why there's so many "final warning" in this sub forum
so you advise us buy BTC when price still cheap like now?
I think it's become a joke.. I bet most of those who are from those who are holding or bought in and can not bear to see price going down more.

There is no point in predicting what will happen in 3 years. Bitcoin may well be a million each, or dead as the cartel gets bought out by the government.
What will happen in 3-4 months makes more sense. I am hoping there will be an upturn by this year end.

I doubt that you are particularly omniscent. And, if it is true, being in fiat may NOT be the right way to go... that is if you are all in fiat or if you are planning to reinvest in BTC.
Not all. I stagger my trades, and you do not know which is top or bottom. I am rubbing it in because this place was full of posts attacking anybody who tried give a sensible point. I use the various analysis given here and the charts posted, and all the abuse means some posters may not have posted. It also some foolish ones stupidly buy in because you have pages after pages of pictures of trains.

No, thank you, I sold at 800 and recently at 550.
even if the price in fact reached 550 recently, that would not be a convincing tale. perhaps try 540? It went above 550, I trade at Btc-e. Maybe you should try a new pair of glasses. If you are being pedantic then I sold at some 548 or something like that, and that too not together. I have staggered buys and sells. There is nothing wrong in being bullish. Keeping on saying it is going to the moon, do not sell when price was 1000 was just stupid.

This board is so bullish its amazing. A testimony to bitcoin indeed.
I don't know to make of it. On one hand, all this bullish sentiment should mean that we haven't capitulated yet.
But I know that's not a complete picture.
Some of us have learned how to be bullish at all times. Learn me how, i need that optimizm Hold for a year and after a couple of bull runs you will understand how Bitcoin is the "honey badger" of money. It was a real pleasure seeing you urging everyone not to sell as Bitcoin came down slowly from 800. With Bitcoin reaching new all time highs once or twice a year I think it is wise to hold, even for those that purchased at $800 or even $1200. However, if you want to sell go ahead! No, thank you, I sold at 800 and recently at 550.
