701  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What percentage of bitcoin buyers at the higher prices are still holding? on: December 09, 2018, 10:12:06 AM
This year 2018 have been a very challenging year for bitcoin and the entire cryptocurrency, as the price of bitcoin have been on a constant fall. Before the end of 2017 the price of bitcoin was close to $20,000 before at the early start of this year we witness a strong fall in price of bitcoin and that has continue till this present time and during last year a lot bought bitcoin at different price and have sold a lot too but to say in totality the market have not been good this year but you can only lose when you sale below the price you bought it.
702  Other / Meta / Re: Is this forum boring? on: December 08, 2018, 01:14:01 PM
There is a decrease in posting activity though, that seems to bring things down a notch recently.

Market probably dropped the interest of core bitcoin investors, as there little to discuss in the situation except speculations and the occasional FUD.
A more active forum does not automatically relate to a more fun forum though, sometimes the drama in here might be a little too much for my taste.
You are right the drama in here in recent time have made a lot of investors and the forum have been a little boring right now because a lot have change in here and the market price downfall have killed the interest of most members, but I still believe if you can take your time to go through the various sections in this forum you will fine topics that will spice up you day.
703  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buy now or wait? on: December 08, 2018, 12:06:17 PM
You said it all since you will not be buying in huge found you can take the risk of buying at the current market price and wait to see if the market recover and we have a bull run then you stand to gain huge and if the market go into further decline then you lose less since you never invested huge found.
704  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Market still in the early stages of Collapse, only the Stupid buy this early on: December 08, 2018, 10:50:07 AM
BTC is projected to drop as low as $1500 by Bloomberg Analysts.
(According to some, this is also the new break even price for the latest batch of ASICS.)

Buying above $2500 shows you don't know what you are doing.

This Market Collapse will be long , possible range a few months to a few years.
(Collapse is less than 2 weeks old.)

Buying above $3000 is the elite selling to the remaining suckers. Tongue

FYI:
The ones telling you to buy now or hodl are most likely the ones selling.
Remember for someone to win in a Market someone else has to lose, which are you?
What ever bloomberg analysis may be it can never ve accurate due to that fact any thing prediction of the price of bitcoin is just base on speculations and which can never stand 100%. I strongly believe that the market is going to recover soon and the bull will be up and running again, buying bitcoin above $3000 is still a good price to buy at because $3000 is a low price compare to what the price may be in the nearest future.
705  Economy / Economics / Re: Taxes from the crypto industry will go to combat pollution. on: December 08, 2018, 05:51:01 AM
The government and it institutions that are scheduled with the responsibility of taking care of the environment are not doing the work effectively and that is why pollution in high in our environment and this is as a result of humans activities. Because cryptocurrency is a global currency which tax revenue is to be used to pursue global program and not to be use by one country alone cause is crypto is taxed and use for environmental cleansing is will benefit only the country of host alone.
706  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crucial time for bitcoin! on: December 07, 2018, 06:21:23 PM
The question I always ask people is have any one ever told you that bitcoin have a stable or fixed price, why should the price of bitcoin at each point becomes a thing of worries to us. Don't we have the understanding on how volatile the bitcoin market is before investing in it and is that not why we are always advice to invest only what we can afford to lose in case of fall in price. Bitcoin does not have a baseline.
707  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk Scammers on: December 07, 2018, 05:58:27 PM
Nursing the thought that scammers will be totally eliminated is like day dreaming because as long as you are involve in any thing thing online you are bound to come across scammers, the only thing to be dine is to be careful and never trust any member base on they forum rank a legendary member can scams likewise a newbie. If you must doing any transactions with any member just hire the service of an escrow we have well known members who offer escrow services.
708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Concerning the future of bounty programs on: December 07, 2018, 12:44:46 PM
It demands on the project and the aim behind the project if a token provide certain service in the economy I think no matter the downward movement of the market it demands will still be high and since the volatility of the market allowe for demands and supply to determine the price such token will still be successful even in the face of a market cease.
709  Economy / Economics / Re: Will people come back to gold on: December 07, 2018, 06:52:56 AM
Gold will continue to be relevant in the economy die to it relatively stable price and since it risk involvement is low gold will be the preferred choice of investment for people will low strength for risk. And just like the silver and the real estate investment it have physical value.
710  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FUD from Large Media Outlets when BItcoin Goes Down! on: December 06, 2018, 06:56:33 PM
There have always been article written by FUDS who just want to discredit bitcoin and the cryptocurrency network entirely and this writers always take advantage of any downward movement in the market to capitalize the judgement, lots of such articles are often title bitcoin is dead or the end of bitcoin. Without them taking the time to understand that bitcoin is a store of value and at that it value can either increase or decrease as the case may be.
711  Other / Meta / Re: My account on: December 06, 2018, 05:19:28 PM
The issue of banned users having to open new accounts to appeal their ban has to be addressed already, it creates lots of accounts which goes inactive as soon as the appeal thread is done, and it would also get banned if the ever outside their appeal thread.

A board for Ban Appeals could be opened, and banned users will only be allowed to post on it, and the community can discuss it or give reasons for the ban.
Locked accounts can also be allowed to post there.

You are right if a section is open to appeal for ban account that will help the meta section a lot as all appeal will be Chanel to that section, and back to the poster a ban don't happen by mistake and as you stated that your two post were deleted for being off topic replies. What I always advice new members to do is that your first assignment in this forum is to read the rules and get your self at home with the laws guiding bitcointalk, no copy and pesting no plagiarism this offences call for a permanent ban.
712  Economy / Economics / Re: Manila Residents to Be Paid in Ether for Cleaning Up Polluted Habitat Area on: December 06, 2018, 03:23:06 PM
I like the title of the job Bounty, this is a great milestones to the cryptocurrency network as this will allowed further adoption and utilization of cryptocurrency as a means of payment. Ethereum being use to pay worker's for cleaning plastic waste is a mind blowing news and I hope other sectors of the society will also adopt cryptocurrency as a mode of payment of salaries.
713  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding multiple altcoins on: December 06, 2018, 10:10:46 AM
Hodler wallet is OK as it allowed for multiple wallets where all my coins can be stored but my worries is hodler wallet is a new development and at that it have bulk in the network some times and that always question my confidence in the wallet but apart from this it have a user friendly interface and very easy to use.
714  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ..Who owns this wallet?? on: December 06, 2018, 08:21:00 AM
The reality will not be far from what every other commenters have said, the wallet may belong to an exchange or a cloud mining company cause this are the only two such that is capable of receiving huge deposits as this. But the i identity can only be proved by only the sender or the receiver since we operate a decentralized system of transactions on blockchain.
715  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Remember △they△ work to divide us on: December 05, 2018, 09:30:24 PM
Tribes and religion is what first divided us as human, the the color of pur skin follows, it only when the white will learn how to teach the blacks they way of life and the blacks ready to teach the white they way of life until then we will have a society with equal identity.
716  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO will have a huge impact on: December 05, 2018, 03:27:14 PM
It almost impossible to set limit to ICO as cryptocurrency network is a decentralized network so at that every one is allowed to develop on it and that is where the problem lies. You notice about %60 of the icos that came up this year 2018 ended up as either failed projects or scam and that have a great negative impact on the coin market.
717  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin and Economy rare? on: December 05, 2018, 12:10:58 PM
The decrease in the general crypto market is as a result of it demand in the market, since cryptocurrency is operated base on the economic law of demands and supply. But from your analysis I sense frustration and it sims you are among those that bought bitcoin and other altcoins during the last year bull run season so I will advice you hold on and wait for a brighter day ahead.
718  Other / Meta / Re: Is this forum boring? on: December 05, 2018, 07:44:45 AM
If the forum is boring, then the discussion topics aren't one of your interests. In that case, why stick around? I don't frequent makeup forums, because its not my interest. If Bitcoin, Altcoins, or any of the related topics that are often discussed here aren't to your liking, find a forum that caters to your interests.

What images, awards, or "legit activities" were you expecting?
I know forums with better marketplaces than this and they all use cryptos

And that's only the marketplace, which is supposed to be the best section of this website beside few threads in first categories
Among all the cryptocurrency discussion forum bitcointalk still remains the best and the most resource of them all, and the forum can only be boring for you if you are unable to exploit through it. Bitcointalk.org have thousands of topics all you have to do is to fine the one that interest you and join in the discussion.

720  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who's The Loser Here? on: December 04, 2018, 06:00:52 PM
Once you sale your bitcoin below the amount you bought it it means you are already at lose and since bitcoin is a highly volatile Commodity it price will never be stable st at that can fall down to any amount evenbm below the $3000 as you have stated. But you only lose when you sale below the price you bought it.
