721  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Investment option on: December 04, 2018, 02:57:43 PM
Investing in bitcoin is still the best option when it comes investment and as the mother coin all other coins still depends on the increase and decrease of bitcoin. Bitcoin is still the central of all other cryptocurrency in the market, and bitcoin is the best choice in crypto investment.
722  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people have btc? on: December 04, 2018, 01:29:27 PM
The last statistical analysis put it to be  one percent of the world population own and use bitcoin, but I think the number might have increase by now as more and more people are getting to adopt bitcoin as their secondary currency and enjoying the total financial freedom that decentralization has to offers.
723  Economy / Economics / Re: Block Chain eliminates regulators on: December 04, 2018, 11:34:13 AM
The centralized authority will never allow for the acceptance of a decentralized financial process because the lack the ability and the power to either regulate or control the decentralized technology, the blockchain is a decentralized authority and a financial process that eliminate the third party involvement in any financial transactions that is carried out on the blockchain network.
724  Other / Meta / Re: Account banned for plagiarism on: December 03, 2018, 07:53:43 PM
There is absolutely nothing that can be done concerning the ban account as long as it a permanent ban and reason being plagiarism/copy and pest, rules are made for our consumptions and knowing the law but yet chose to break it. Self admitting is not an excuse just take it as your faith and move on.
725  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a religion on: December 03, 2018, 06:11:11 AM
It is very interesting point and, frankly speaking, true. Some people just flock after a new technology or trend without getting in details.
A side understanding how the p2p technology works, what other details do you think you can get from bitcoin as it relates to it price since the market is unpredictable and highly volatile. So all we need do is to stay positive and in doing that we have to operate on faith and when you dig down faith operate with believe, but the ops saying bitcoin is now a religion because of the use of the `word` believe is totally wrong.
726  Economy / Economics / Re: Transactional Utility. What it is and why it counts on: December 02, 2018, 06:02:43 PM
Transactional utility counts, but it seems for some reason a lot of people don't realize that holding bitcoin and not moving it is as legit of an use as transacting bitcoin around. By holding it you make use of it's exceptional features of unconfiscatable status, neutral asset, decentralized and so on. So you don't need to move it.

Bitcoin economy will grow a lot when there is a bi demand for it above fiat currencies, that situation must happen naturally. Governments force you to use their currency, Bitcoin is not forced upon people, so it must be voluntary. Sooner or later it will come as inflation hits all mayor currencies around the planet. But even without a big "bitcoin economy", it can reach reserve currency status. Reserve currencies aren't used by most people.
I don't agree with your assertion because you tend to drive us more into investment side of bitcoin rather then it transactions utility as the topic have stated, bitcoin is a digital currency so as that it should function more as a transactions utility rather then as a store of value. Holding bitcoin add a little or no value to the bitcoin network as a currency what add real value is it adoption and that comes with it utility.
727  Other / Meta / Re: Banned after holidays on: December 02, 2018, 02:42:40 PM
It might haven't been your intention to do plagiarism, but you are supposed to mention the source, which would specify that the content is not your own but is copied from somewhere else.

It would be a little harsh if that was the reason for the ban, we would have to wait for a mod to clarify.
I interprete Pliagarism as an attempt to copy someone else's work and pass it off as your creation, in order to get acknowledgement or some other form of benefits, or to boost your post count.
I don't think it a harsh decision for mod to do they job because plagiarism/copy and pesting is a serious offense in the forum, checking through the ops post history it full of copy and pesting mostly from Twitter even with some post with # tags without linking his post to the original content.
728  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The problem of Cyrpto`s survival on: December 02, 2018, 09:45:14 AM
There are are so many projects which have direct use with the economy and not only ripple but this projects are not that popular, I have come across a project on the bounty section which seek to deal with the real estate business and so many other utility token's are all involve in direct service in the economy. Bitcoin is just like the universal coin among all which can be use for several purpose.
729  Economy / Speculation / Re: HODL'ers lose. That is no surprise on: December 02, 2018, 06:53:32 AM
"I told you so" comes to mind.

I warned everyone in here again and again in the beginning of 2018.

Get out of Bitcoin as fast as you can to limit your losses.

Everytime so-called "experts" and "investors" in here said to HODL. Bitcoin would soon go to the moon.

Only the most blind and stupid still believe Bitcoin will ever recover.

The sooner you get out, the smaller your loss. If you wait, you can be sure the loss will be even bigger.

Blockchain technology has a great future, but cryptocurrencies - any crypto -  are a dead end.
(bitcoin, blokchain and cryptocurrency) they are interrelated with each other and they will remain forever, regarding the problem of decreasing bitcoin now we can take it back if we have capital, the base price has shown $ 3700 and has passed, this recovery will not happens in an instant but it takes time to land, I personally still believe
I have read through so many replies and some ops are even saying blockchain operate independently of bitcoin and the blockchain have other features aside the operation of cryptographic, and a took my study further and discovered that cryptographic is the process of solving mathematical code and the blockchain is the engine room for this process. So the blockchain can not survive without bitcoin now back to the discussion hodling bitcoin for a long time is good and one should not term hodlers as fools or people who are not smart enough to get out when the price was still high, some people have a fixed time for they investment and in that way they will never sale no matter what the price is. Bitcoin is going to recover again but that will take time and no one can predict when that will be since bitcoin is a volatile commodity.
730  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bounty Scammers on: December 01, 2018, 05:29:31 PM
I just checked through the ops post history and it very clear that the user is using several users name for both twitters and Facebook bounty campaigns and to me that is fraudulent, if there is proof of plagiarism/copy and pesting just flag him up and the user will be ban or report him to DT member and he will be red tagged always  achieved your proofs for future purpose.
731  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Security Tokens Era Begins In 2019 on: December 01, 2018, 04:23:03 PM
Security tokens is the next solution to crypto investment as the year runs out the security tokens market is getting stroniand I strongly believe that in this coming year the security token market is going to replace the initial coin offering market, because this security tokens have to under go some regulations which will eventually give them the necessary government backing and that will boost investors confidence on the token. So let hope for the better.
732  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Profits In 2018 Bear Market on: December 01, 2018, 02:41:40 PM
The bear period is the best period for trading all you need to do is to carry out a smart calculation of the time and understand the market movement in order to know when to buy and sell you token on the exchange, that is how smart traders make more profits from they tokens during deeps. I have a friend who have already tripled his tokens using this same same trading mechanism.
733  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not intended to be a stock. Blockchain has nothing to do with price on: December 01, 2018, 11:38:13 AM
It going to take time before most users of bitcoin will change they perspectives about bitcoin and try to use it for what it originally developed for which is to provide a p2p system of sending and receiving money without any restrictions or involvement of any individual or institutions. But today people buy bitcoin and keep it as a stock with the sole aims of making huge profits at the end not knowing how volatile bitcoin can be when it comes to price so at that they always end up frustrated when the swing does not go in the directions they expect it to.
734  Other / Meta / Re: bitcointalk should make their own coin on: December 01, 2018, 09:17:20 AM
I am quite surprised this thread has been going on for 4 pages now, while it should have been redirected to the "Wall of fame / shame. Shit posts so bad that they are actually funny" thread immediately.
You are right but in my opinion may be the thread is allowed to go on because of it relevance to educating newbies who really don't have knowledge of bitcointalk as a forum, e.g it purpose and origin and may be thinking since it a big forum for bitcoin and the entire cryptocurrency discussion it should develop a new token not knowing that bitcointalk  was primarily developed to serve as a discussion room for the development and promotions of bitcoin as a network all other altcoins discussions are just secondary.
735  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How To Invest In Bitcoin on: November 30, 2018, 05:47:29 PM
Yes those are the two key players in the bitcoin network once you have a good exchange and a wallet then you can be sure of investing  in bitcoin safely, because your wallet hold you investment while the exchange is your door to either trade in bitcoin or cash out your investment into other currencies. And the best time to buy bitcoin is when the price is low in other to hold and sale high in the future when the price will have rise.
736  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bottom is in !! on: November 30, 2018, 03:39:51 PM
Since the bitcoin as a commodity does not have a fixed price then it practically impossible to know it bottom, how can one predict it next price either it will further go down or increase its unpredictable but I will say a $2000 bottom line is what may be the lowest down movement that bitcoin can go within this year, but since the bitcoin market is always volatile so at that it price can never be predicted.
737  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Campaign Ettiquette(Signature, twitter, facebook, or any other type) on: November 30, 2018, 12:51:12 PM
This signature campaign write up should be made rule on the general rule for signature campaign in this forum, as it deal clearly well and serves as an enlightenment and educative to all the bounty hunters in this forum. And again any newbies member just coming into bitcoin talk that will read and understand this rules will be successful in the forum. More insight to sir Yahoo
738  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market manipulation? on: November 30, 2018, 11:46:38 AM
Well I believe since bitcoin is a decentralized currency and is not controlled by any individual or government it price will always be subjected to it depends in the market, that is more control and volatility and I think that is the real freedom we are talking about there.
739  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Make Bitcoin Great Again on: November 30, 2018, 10:47:15 AM
This is a very good suggestion because the social media play a vital role in the publication of any product, promoting bitcoin on social media will go a long way to created awareness about bitcoin. But in doing that we should not fail to educate and enlighten the people on bitcoin and it uses and how the network work's because bitcoin is more of a currency then it an investment it  true potential is in it usage.
740  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Capitalism vs. Socialism - Make your argument here. on: November 29, 2018, 07:52:09 PM
The socialist failed due to the brake down of the whale when the cold war ended that also saw to the end of the socialist mode of economic system due to the fact that the socialist created a breading ground for mediocrity because every one will leave it all in the hand of the government there by limiting the citizens from discovery, but capitalism on the other hand is more or less decentralized and at that everyone will be all out to develope and maximize profits.
