I am getting more and more the feeling that we are getting played by the Chinese.

Agreed, Prices should have remained sub 200, its chinese fault that we rallied to absurd 1k ATH!   Grin

Ok, that was MT gox manipulation.
183  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC falling rapidly today!!! on: April 25, 2014, 02:48:30 PM
Reading some of these posts, it looks like people are starting to get angry. All these hodlers were patting each other on the back and loving the Chinese when they were pumping their yuan into btc. Now it's suddenly F$#@ China! These people don't want the world to adopt btc because it's superior to the current fiat system, they want mass adoption simply so they can become rich. This blind greed is indeed negative news and bad for btc. If this is the attitude prospective btc buyers are going to see from many of the holders, don't expect many people adopting bitcoin.

And it took you how long to figure this out exactly?

Next up is a small rise on low volume until we hit 7am european time and we get another massive dump...

This looks like a slow dump, but there has already been way over 1k bid orders eaten away, so eventhough the orderbook looks bullish, this is mega bearish.
187  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 18, 2014, 11:14:45 AM
Got my bid orders at $432, is this too low??

maybe 448 is better

I think 440-450 is good, but 460~ is safer play

I don't see the price going any lower than $480 really.  There is so much resistance between here and $432 anwyay

The things is in this market you dont know how fast a bid or an ask order is going to be removed, so order books really only tell 5% of the whole tale.

They could just be squeezing the last bit of profit from their investments.

Houbi is now accepting 3rd party deposits just announced on their site.

http://www.huobi.com/news/index.php?a=show_notice&id=323&lang=en
Wait what?? lol
Wasn't 3rd party deposits banned??

Tomorrow news: china bans 3d party deposits on Huobi => BTC drops

That would be something, but could easily become reality.

This is just manipulation with price, you can check at http://bitcoinity.org/markets,
Huobi and Bitstamp, for 5 days purchased over 500k bitcoins,
It is so funny, 500k bitcoins for 4 days, and after that for next 4 days purchased less 10k bitcoins.

It is BIG manipulation with prices, Just check and compare volume and time, it not real.

That would explain the 0% fee, just to get a lot of actual volume in to hide their manipulation.

not sure why the people weren't expecting those accounts from OKcoin or atleast Huobi to close.. they stated they would be closing certain accounts, not sure which totally but...yeah w/e 500 seems stronger than before but we shall see.

What amazes me is that BTCChina has not published news about their bank accounts closing.

because this is another rumor perhaps which is senseless ...

I dont think that Huobi and Okcoin will publish rumors that might hurt their business on their main page, if you are still thinking this is just a rumor you are very ignorant.

Did everybody forgot that? A Bitcoin ATM opened in China this week. http://www.reuters.com/article/2014/04/16/us-china-bitcoin-idUSBREA3F0MK20140416

It allows you to buy BTC with coins and you can not withdraw through it.
195  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 17, 2014, 10:48:09 AM
So buying back in now, because of an expected pump would be a good strategy?
196  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 17, 2014, 10:15:20 AM
I was wondering, every Chinese exchange gets their bank acocunts closed, but BTC-China does not have that problem at all?  Huh

Wrong. Their deposit channels have gone from 4 options to 1 option. They simply don't like posting about it.

I mention this because Bobby Lee keeps saying that it is just business as usual for BTC-China. So you think that they will get away with just creating ATMs? BTW that BS ATM of BTC-China can only be used to buy BTC and not withdraw, how awesome is that?

Why should 470 hold?

Because the market seems to want to go up. It's just being stopped by Chinese FUD every time.

1 bank after the other getting closed and you call that FUD?  Huh
199  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 17, 2014, 09:24:19 AM
Has anyone already pointed out the obvious that the 18-04 deadline might be true?

This shit has to stop. It's getting totally ridiculous. I seriously hope all these panic sheep lose all their money. They completely deserve it for being such idiots. I'm tired of this nonsense.

Just sell shroomy you've been whining since 900 instead of selling  Grin

It is not low enough atm, I think he wants to catch the bottom.
