How can the players be mining right now

Well it is called MINEcraft, so mining is what they do all night long I guess...  Grin

Wallet mining I guess, what else can be going on?

Network hashrate: 515+ Mhps
Combined pool hashrate: 20+ Mhps

So all new Minecraft players are solomining with their wallets at 500ish Mhps?

Checked these pools:

HOW DO I MINE THIS???

can someone plz give me answer more then 1 word, cause i never done it before.

Go to "help" > "Debug window" > "console" tab > type "setgenerate true -1" to use all cores or "setgenerate true 2" to use 2 cores (change the number if u need to)

THANKS

60 primerpersec on i7 2600

all you put was setgenerate true -1?

i did that and it replys with a blank message then nothing?

can i get a screen shot?

Just check the Task Manager, CPU usage should go from 0% to 100%.
(Ctrl-Alt-Delete Start Task Manager)

I use
setgenerate true 7
to get one free "core" to run other apps without slowdowns.

-Not getting a warning about checkpoints being too old.
-Big coin logo in the wallet like Megacoin
-Installer, for newbies
-Localized wallet, for example like Megacoin
-Fully functional web site
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN][YBC] Ybcminer GPU miner for Ybcoin on: July 06, 2013, 11:45:51 AM
3 days after the ybcminer and the network is above 1000 Mh/s with a difficulty of 3.7.

Must be a new record, 10x hashrate increase in 3 days and 7x difficulty increase.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN][YBC] Ybcminer GPU miner for Ybcoin on: July 04, 2013, 07:40:51 PM
Do not use a laptop to mine, you will kill it due to overheating.
CPU mining costs more in electricity that you can mine, unless you get free power, give up.

If you refuse to listen, buy a laptop cooler first:

Less than 20 hours after the GPU miner release, hashrate is up 50%, difficulty is up 50%.  Shocked

Is it possible to add Intel Xeon Phi support (MIC architecture)?
Thanks!
If you or someone else can give me access to the hardware, I might try to give it a go.

Maybe a good chance is to meet up with the Intel folks in San Franscisco at the IDF thing, maybe they arrange developer boards:
http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/intel-developer-forum-idf/san-francisco/2013/idf-2013-san-francisco.html

Either way, they should treat you like a star and throw CPU's, Xeon Phi boards and other goodies at you, considering that you are the reason for upgrading CPUs/GPUs...

ybcminer --scrypt -w 256 --lookup-gap 2 -I 17 --thread-concurrency 2048

2 reject ((

I got 0 rejects after adding:
-Q 0 -s 1 -E 1
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN][YBC] Ybcminer GPU miner for Ybcoin on: July 03, 2013, 08:49:23 PM
My AMD 7970 at 900/1000/0.975 core/mem/Volt does: 2.60Mh/s
Settings: ybcminer --scrypt --thread-concurrency 8192 -I 17 -g 2 -w 256 --lookup-gap 2

Got 1 accepted and 1 rejected block in about 10 minutes, 3 coins so far, not that good...

Edit: Added these settings: -Q 0 -s 1 -E 1 and found 3 blocks in 12 minutes, still not that good...
Edit 2: Up to 2,68Mhash with thread concurrency at 20000 (out of memory at 22400) or 8192 at 1500MHz memory.

Benchmarks of my AMD 7970 3GB running at 900MHz core, 1000MHz mem and 0.975V in Afterburner, with yacminer-3.3.1-yac2-windows-x64 in Win 7 64bit on http://yac2.ltcoin.net

150Kh/s --scrypt --thread-concurrency 8192 -I 13 -g 2 -w 256 --lookup-gap 4    (uses 0,8GB RAM)
236.5Kh/s --scrypt --thread-concurrency 8192 -I 13 -g 2 -w 256 --lookup-gap 2  (uses 1,4GB RAM)
103Kh/s --scrypt --thread-concurrency 8192 -I 13 -g 2 -w 256 --lookup-gap 1     (uses 2,4GB RAM)

Benchmarks of my 7970 running at 900MHz core, 1500MHz mem and 0.975V in Afterburner, with yacminer-3.3.1-yac2-windows-x64 on http://yac2.ltcoin.net

151Kh/s --scrypt --thread-concurrency 8192 -I 13 -g 2 -w 256 --lookup-gap 4
237.7Kh/s --scrypt --thread-concurrency 8192 -I 13 -g 2 -w 256 --lookup-gap 2
181Kh/s --scrypt --thread-concurrency 8192 -I 13 -g 2 -w 256 --lookup-gap 1 (140 for the card running Windows)

Higher thread concurrencies (900/1000/0.975):
229Kh/s --scrypt --thread-concurrency 38000 -I 13 -g 1 -w 256 --lookup-gap 2    (uses 2,6GB RAM)
233Kh/s --scrypt --thread-concurrency 38000 -I 15 -g 1 -w 256 --lookup-gap 2    (uses 2,6GB RAM)
233Kh/s --scrypt --thread-concurrency 38000 -I 17 -g 1 -w 256 --lookup-gap 2    (uses 2,6GB RAM)
Trying -g 2 crashes, increasing lookup gap kills he performance.

EDIT: At 1100/1500MHz I get: 287Khps, temp are getting to high though.

Thank you for the update.

Sorry about nagging, but I am still interested in a Ybcoin version of the Yacminer.
Would a small YAC donation and promise of 5% of all mined Ybcoins spark your interest?

Tried and failed at updating the source myself, yes, that is how dumb I am.
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][YAC] Yacminer GPU miner for Yacoin on: July 01, 2013, 05:16:15 PM
Thank you, any chance of getting a version that supports ybcoin too?

Any luck on getting the yacoin CPU and GPU miners to run with ybcoin?

You just have to change the chain start time timestamp for both programs to calculate the correct Nfactor and recompile.

The chain start time for YAC is 1367991200 and for YBC it must be 1372386273 .

Nothing else required for the CPU or the GPU miner to work. In fact with yaminer you can modify the opencl kernel, remove the bin files and start yaminer.

Thank for the explanation, too bad I do not understand it to do the changes that are needed.
Any more details that may help a noob?

getmininginfo says:
"networkhashps" : 4394,

Am I correct to guess that any single PC CPU is enough to 51% attack TradeCoin?
