1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to buy? on: January 25, 2019, 02:55:51 PM
If you have extra money, then certanly you should buy for such a reasonable price. It is something you must to do! Man, don't avoid this opportunity to invest! It is a chance for you!

Yeah and I bet you've been saying the same shit for the last 12 months.
If you think these prices are reasonable we'll leave it at that.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Can we just point out the obvious? on: January 25, 2019, 01:35:54 PM
So a lot of us have these highly optimistic views towards crypto and bitcoin, this is fuelled by nothing more than the desire to make money from something which has had it's day.

First before we go telling new people to buy now can we just stop and think about the impact you would feel if a selfish person gave you bad advice and you ran with it? Now what if a group are telling you? You'll lose complete confidence in the market you're trading on and likely move on with a sour taste.

No one on here has any idea when things will turn and it's all hope and optimism with no basis, we need a reason for things to turn and currently we don't have a reason, the big investors that pushed the price up did so because they had faith in where this technology could go, but sadly 2017 demonstrated a big failure in one of the most important areas being efficiency, if those recall how expensive bitcoin transactions got and how slow they became late 2017 you'll get this point and understand why we crashed, as it is now Bitcoin still has these issues and cannot scale well, we have solutions in the works like lightning network and other altcoins working on scalable solutions, but where it stands now we have no reason to go up, so please stop telling people it's about to change.

It's still not a bad time for beginners to put in a small amount and learn via day trading and research, I recommend doing so..but I do not recommend throwing big money at anything right now.

Myself I'll throw more money in when I see a successful roll out of the lightning network taking place, if we can get past the efficiency issues confidence will grow, I'm still optimistic long term in the tech but we have a bit of a way to go.

I'm sure some will disagree with this but the main point stands, we're being unmoral pushing advice we know isn't true.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to buy? on: January 25, 2019, 11:36:42 AM
Do you think it's time to buy tokens now? the market seems quite low now, or should wait?

Always remember that every bearish market is a time to buy and NOTE: it doesn't have to be etherum or bitcoin
alot of altcoins are on their all time lows in value in the market at the moment, and you can dyor (do your own research), get more information and choose your investments options

And if you prefer to invest in blockchain, you have eos, nem, stellar, waves and others by the corner.

I disagree, only a fool stays on a sinking ship, the best time to buy is after we see stability not after dips during a long bear period.
I get many here believe convincing a clueless forum member will boost the market, sadly you're just going to kill their view on crypto.

My advice is do not buy a thing until we see a solution to these scalability issues.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Did Bitcoin REALLY Hit The Bottom? Are We There Yet? on: January 25, 2019, 11:31:05 AM
There's no reason for it to come up and it's very obvious why all of this has happened.
We had hopes and dreams of this amazing fast decentralised network and all 2017 showed was it cannot scale, most have realised in it's current form it was just a dream.
HOPEFULLY the lightning network can solve this issue and we have reason to think positive about the tech again, until this happens we have no reason to go up.

Stop trying to guess it, it's going to take action and change to bring back a bull run.. Look for that if you want an idea.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buying more: XSPEC or MONERO? I love both as Trader :) on: September 02, 2018, 03:19:41 AM
Have people already forgot all the drama and bs that went on with xspec?
Their GitHub showed no work over a year, main developer left the project after being called out on this, was never a plan or paper for stealth staking.

It's a project with no technical credit behind it and just a bunch of wishful people shilling it.

Monero has actually established a product and leads the field of stealth coins.

To compare these 2 is insane.
I understand you Monero, this is an excellent project. But I also ask you to be honest and not engage in black PR.

I don't care what has happened in recent times. I made a thread on here some time ago about the lack of work and lack of any idea behind stealth staking, that thread played a big part in the old dev being called out and leaving the project.

The fact they did so poorly back then and promised features they had no design for is enough for me, if things have improved recently then that's great for those still holding this, but the past events got this black listed for me, also understanding how it works I see it bringing nothing new to the table, even if we forgot all the drama with it and look at the technicals, why is this superior to any other stealth coin out there?

Any way I'm not in the loop with this project in more recent times so I can't comment more than that, just simply saying to compare this to Monero is insane.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Any hidden gems in Kucoin? on: September 02, 2018, 03:13:17 AM
For me, KuCoin share (KCS) is the gem. Right now its market cap is only 1/10 of Binance coin. The quality of Kucoin exchange is on par with Binance, I would say. The only difference is volume. Binance has successfully gain a huge market share with over $1B daily volume.

I would agree if it had stop limits, without such features it'll never get the volume of Binance, it's the only missing thing as far as KuCoin goes.

DAG aka Constellation is the best gem on there at the moment in my eyes
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Constellation (DAG) Easy 10x on: September 01, 2018, 01:31:39 PM
Sorry been away from this for awhile.
To call this a copy cat of nano shows no one here does any research or understands the technology.

Nano has no smart contracts and has a delegated PoS consensus.
Constellation has smart contracts and a proof of memetics consensus which is far superior to Nano in terms of horizontal scaling and node decentralisation.

The only thing they share in common is both are a Directed Acylic Graph.

AFAIK X-ray has no idea... hero member lol Smiley

9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Constellation (DAG) - HelloKitty marketing (must read) on: August 20, 2018, 12:35:45 PM
Taken from their telegram

Quote
We had one of our key advisors, Rehito (Ray) Hatoyama, present for us on innovation, globalization of a multi-billion dollar brand, and governance. Ray was the past CEO of Sanrio (holding company of Hello Kitty) and was responsible for taking them from $300m market cap to $6.5b. Ray is playing a vital role on how we approach our go to market strategy for the next year.

This guy is legendary in the marketing world and will be on hand to help constellation model and build their roll out, they've provided pictures on telegram of him with the team so it appears to be true.

$5 million cap on a new type of DAG coin with smart contracts and a much better consensus over the ones previously seen on DAG.
Probably the best buy out there right now, I won't speculate on price just use your imagination.

Supply will increase 25% end of the year and continue to go up 25% each year after, so you can view this around a 6 million cap if you factor that in.
Testnet is live, source code looks solid, daily commits show strong activity on github.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Constellation (DAG) Easy 10x on: August 13, 2018, 11:43:40 AM
only about 1 btc on the sell wall between 150 and 300 sats.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Solid 5-8x on: August 13, 2018, 11:36:09 AM
Constellation, I wont say much, DYOR
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Constellation (DAG) Easy 10x on: August 07, 2018, 11:58:44 AM
In this market it's hard to scream 10x, but I think when we see a bullish turn this one will sky up, it's low enough now to bring 2-3x even in this market.

Constellation is having a go at DAG with smart contracts, the team looks very solid and diverse, their test net is up and running, market cap is under $10 million.
So far we've had a couple of DAG projects which have been plagued by bugs or poor decisions yet they've still pumped, you won't find a single DAG coin which hasn't had a good pump yet.

Why is this one different? It offers smart contracts and the team is very experienced, test net code was also released on GitHub and they're actually producing something unlike a lot of other repos i look at in the crypto space.

This will be better than Nano I think, time will tell but if they succeed this will be an easy $100 million cap coin, best case it could become a $1 billion cap coin.

Right now is a good buy in price, anything under 300 sats is a steal for this coin.

Any one else share this view?
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What cryptocurrency are you currently buying during a dip? on: August 03, 2018, 09:08:12 AM
Buying up Constellation at the moment while it's around the $10 million market cap, one of the best new projects going and very undervalued right now.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What cryptocurrency are you currently buying during a dip? on: August 01, 2018, 12:37:29 PM
I don't play with the big coins in this market, not enough gain, I take a bit more risk on the less known projects which have solid potential and it's been paying off this year while the big ones continue to bleed.

Currently buying up Go Chain on KuCoin, why? looks to be one of the better chain projects this year, good team, mainnet is already live and doing well.. we have a lot of other chain projects with hype that are worth 2x as much and no product to test yet, this coin can hit a 100 million cap this year and it's currently at 22 million, they are trying to get it on Binance and if this happens it'll do an easy 2-3x I think.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: This dip is great! on: August 01, 2018, 12:31:32 PM
When there is blood, there is money and only those people who are smart enough to think that crypto crash is the right time to buy the cryptocurrencies they want at a very cheap price and in a greater volume. Once these cryptos rise again, you will already earn very good earnings for sure.

i think we wont see the dip.
btc will drop to 4000 dollars i think until eof. and the real rally will start after that time.

We won't see the dip? Are you sure about that? In the past few days we see the slightly increased of bitcoin price and other coins but now it drops again. Hard to be sure if it's the beginning of recovery.

If we can hold above 7500 and it doesn't drop to 7k it's fair to say this is just a support level test, support tests are healthy in an upward market, without support it all falls down.

In my eyes it looks strong at 7500, the panic among alts is crazy people are still very fearful.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: This dip is great! on: August 01, 2018, 10:22:16 AM
Been buying up GoChain on KuCoin at 600 sats, should make a nice 30% by the weekend on this one, crazy panic works for me.
Support seems very strong at 7500, even pushed back up near 7700 a moment ago.

If you're not buying cheap alts now you don't know how to make money in this space Smiley
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Predicting a real rise in 2nd half of 2018 on: July 11, 2018, 02:58:50 PM
I don't think a run is close, confidence is at an all time low.
Make the most and swing trade on the fear, holding is a dead end till we see $10k+ where confidence will return
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: why listing on kucoin is worst idea on: July 11, 2018, 02:11:01 PM
Not all exchanges are like this? But KUcoin's reputation is really not very good.

What's wrong with KuCoin? It's one of my favourite exchanges, if it had more volume it would be #1 for me.
Love the interface, has unique coins, most of the Binance pump coins start on KuCoin.

In time it'll be one of the better exchanges I think.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Hidden Bull Market - Big Institutes Coming Nov / Dec 2018 on: July 11, 2018, 11:02:59 AM
As much as I would love this, these threads are bs.
Confidence is down and will take awhile to come back, I'm doubtful of a bull run this year.

Embrace the bear and swing trade wisely, you can double up every 1-2 months even in this market, holding = good luck.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: GoChain (GO) Price prediction on: July 11, 2018, 11:00:40 AM
Good project, bought it in the high 900 sat range today, already up since
