1181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone make serious profit from hodling 6-12 months ? on: May 03, 2018, 10:17:39 AM
If we hold altcoin it is better to hold for a few months. But if we hold altcoins for too long like 6-12 months they are very risky and maybe we will not benefit from the arrests we have made against the altcoin. Holding 6-12 months is the same as we are investing in the long term and I think the coins worthy of long-term investments are only the coins whose rank is in the top 10 positions.
1182  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think that other coins move faster? on: May 03, 2018, 09:35:50 AM
Do you think that Bitcoin has become too slow to compete with the relatively quick alt coins out there? Is it realty competitive to have a slow community rather than a centralised decision making in development?

In other words, does the community effect of decentralisation enough to counterbalance the difficult decision making processes?

Do you know why another coin moves faster than bitcoin? Because when the other coin is launched there is always pumping and finally drop again to the starting price at the price of coins when still ICO. I do not think any other coin becomes a good coin for future investment because ultimately after pumping the coins the price movements always follow the bitcoin price movement.
1183  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is the New Economy, we are only at the very beginning on: May 03, 2018, 09:05:08 AM
I believe so too.. I think 2018 will not end without this happening. Bitcoin's value will skyrocket exponentially with the launch of the lightning network.
The lightening network is exactly what this market needs right now for the price to rise and for us to go into the next bull market. The market has so much more to do and as OP said we are just at the beginning of it, we are the early birds which means we will make the most, once that lightening network goes into effect there will be a price hike which might trigger the next bull market.

Everyone is convinced that the lightning network is the solution to the bitcoin problem all along, but for me, this lightning network is only a temporary solution to the bitcoin problem that has occurred recently with the slow transaction confirmation. There needs to be a concrete new solicitation of the OP to address the complaints of users regarding it.
1184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding EOS? on: May 03, 2018, 08:24:19 AM
I am not interested to get EOS because there is no implementation of EOS developer goals. Prices and capitalization in the crypto market are promising and bring EOS ranked in the top 5 on coinmarketcap.com but it is still not enough to interest me to invest on this EOS if you see traces of record price movements.
1185  Economy / Economics / Re: Blockchain and AI will improve the world economy on: May 02, 2018, 10:04:19 PM
There is no doubt that blockchain is a security in transactions in the present that ensures transaction bookkeeping that can not be changed by any party. Technology like this that is needed by the world to solve economic problems. I am sure all people agree that this technology is capable to change the world economy.
1186  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin plays a vital role in the economy on: April 30, 2018, 01:23:14 PM
A country's economy could be increased by bitcoin with the government's record of being able to accept bitcoin and legalize bitcoin and impose a tax on bitcoin users in either trade or investment or a transaction. The tax is what gives the government income. How can a country's economy change because of bitcoin if they do not impose taxes on people in action using bitcoin in a transaction.
1187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should i give up or should i just keep chasing pavements? on: April 30, 2018, 12:32:42 PM
Price movement crypto no one knows exactly, everyone just speculate and hope it happens. When the price movement of crypto is considered to have a better advantage we sell half of the coins we hold to take some profits and half the more coins you can bear to wait for the next price movement.
1188  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and altcoin: Who will take control of the market? on: April 29, 2018, 06:52:03 PM
When everyone is asked about cryptocurrency then those people are focused to answer cryptocurrency is bitcoin. Looks like brainwashing, but the mindset of people is already on bitcoin so bitcoin will continue to dominate the crypto market even though the current condition of investors is turning to altcoin, as whales are in control of the price movement of crypto in the market.
1189  Economy / Economics / Re: Will the bitcoin be outdated by another currency? on: April 28, 2018, 06:50:00 AM
We need to ask, what currency can make bitcoin expired and abandoned by its users? I think blockchain technology is a refinement of existing technologies for use in the world economy. What other currencies will appear in the future, we will not know, if the currency is still the same digit then bitcoin will still be able to beat the currency that will appear because bitcoin is the king of the digital currency.
1190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will bitcoin be replace by ethereum/ripple on: April 28, 2018, 06:04:12 AM
It is not impossible that this could happen if Ethereum and Ripple market capitalization could exceed Bitcoin. One reason why Ethereum could replace the bitcoin rankings is the unlimited supply of Ethereum that keeps growing market capitalization, while bitcoin is a crypto whose supply is limited so bitcoin does not increase in demand then the price will slump and lower market capitalization.
1191  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin - Can it boost or break a countries economy? on: April 27, 2018, 07:32:12 PM
Bitcoin will not be able to lift the economy of a country if the country does not accept bitcoin as an alternative payment method for its citizens in transacting. The fear of a government against this new technology because they can not control the bitcoin price, they will not accept if bitcoin prices can not be controlled. Obviously there are games and reasons hidden behind the banning of a country.
1192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: April 27, 2018, 06:14:11 PM
Well done, Moh Salah is very worthy to get PFA player of the year. If you look at the development of Moh Salah in the EPL this season is very impressive. Chelsea will regret for having released Mohammed Salah.

Don't forget KDB. The problem wasn't Chelsea, it was Mourinho who "mostly" likes the now and ready players with not much patience for youth to develop under him. I am not saying that he doesn't use youth, he does, he will point out to Rashford now. But the question is how often he uses them to give a consistent run of games for development. Now Anthony Martial is facing the same issue currently and we all now that the boy has massive talent. Because he is not English and not Man U youth he will leave whilst Rashford stays. I know Alexis was brought in to replace Mhki, so if that's the case Martial should be able to get more time now that Zlatan has also left the club.

Anyways congrats to Mo Salah well deserved and the best thing that came from Liverpool this season.
When at Chelsea, Mourinho was too quick to judge the adept player. He thinks of them as a failing player, but if they are given confidence and play time, they will show their quality. Mohamed Salah and De Bruyne are proof, they are the best in the Premier League at the moment.

At the time it was salah and de bruyne was difficult to break through the main squad, Chelsea with star-studded players like hazard, willian etc. Make it a bench. But luckily fiorentina, As roma who had borrowed services from salah. This stupid decision I think came from chelsea manager, when Chelsea was handled by mourinho who did not give them a chance to play and show their quality.
Play opportunities are indispensable for talented players. They will not develop when they are never given a chance to play by the coach. Regret is always at the end and makes this as a lesson and experience to continue to give young players a chance to play. I know you are disappointed, and the disappointment shows that you are one of Chelsea's fans.
1193  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Transaction fees on BlockChain are so high on: April 27, 2018, 04:48:25 PM
The cost of expensive transactions indicates that in the future bitcoin prices will continue to rise. All bitcoin holders will not want a loss right? But, do not worry because the lightning network to be one solution to solve the problem of high transaction costs bitcoin.
1194  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What should we pay attention to when using bitcoin? on: April 26, 2018, 11:25:26 PM
So easy. We simply ensure the reputation of the service we will follow by using bitcoin and do not provide very important information to them. Although there is no guarantee in cryptocurrency we still have to be careful.
1195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How foolish are people who invest in Bitcoin? on: April 26, 2018, 10:17:49 PM
I do not want to judge someone stupid for investing in bitcoin, each person has different beliefs and I am very respectful of those who cling to his belief in bitcoin. However, I hope their belief in cryptocurrency is matched by an appropriate research and observation to make decisions in bitcoin investing.
1196  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Should I Be Scared Of Hackers If I Have Lot of BTC. on: April 26, 2018, 09:49:36 PM
This is the fear of bitcoin users so far, the vulnerability of a wallet to be hacked. Until now there is no wallet service that can provide security to its users. With that, we must use all available security facilities to save the assets we hold from the hackers.
1197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is better than gold on: April 26, 2018, 09:24:31 PM
I do not want to say which one is better between bitcoin and gold. Both have their respective advantages and both are worthy of our investment, but bitcoin is more speculative than gold which has fundamental fundamentals, so it is not possible to speculate the price of gold.
1198  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Feedback on our new search engine for Bitcointalk on: April 26, 2018, 07:50:12 PM
Good job and very useful for us all especially for the world of cryptocurrency. Hopefully everyone starts to switch to using this platform that you create and not rely on google again as a search engine.
1199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin sidechains will render altcoins obsolete on: April 25, 2018, 10:51:17 PM
I do not know all about bitcoin sidechains information yet. However, I remain convinced that altcoin will not be obsolete because altcoin does not exist so bitcoin will not get a competitor. However bitcoin still requires altcoin to be a competitor and comparison so that bitcoin gets better and reinforces over time.
1200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: TRON (TRX) is going crazy. on: April 25, 2018, 10:27:16 PM
TRON (TRX) gained over 4,000% in the last month and passed $5 Billion market cap. Do you think it will get to top 10?

TRX is an altcoin that has a good purpose, even its existence can be the toughest competitor for Ethereum. Altcoin this has become a trend since the advertised and recommended by John McAfee as altcoin worthy to be invested in both the short and long term. Altcoin that can be recommended by one of the richest people in the world indicates that altcoin is not just altcoin which is just a toy of the whales.
