101  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-10-11] 39-Year Old Father-of-3 Sells Everything for Bitcoin, Waits for ... on: October 12, 2017, 02:53:32 PM
I respect his bravery but he does have children look after and should really be putting them first and teaching them to not rely on one thing in life.
102  Economy / Speculation / Re: what you think about bitcoin in like 5 years? on: October 12, 2017, 02:50:43 PM
five years from now I think Bitcoin could be worth something like 20,000 dollars if not more. We just need the right companies to embrace it and successful forks.
103  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC passes $5,000 USD milestone on: October 12, 2017, 02:49:32 PM
Bitcoin has increased 3x the amount that I saw it at a couple of months ago which means by the end of this year we could be seeing some massive numbers.
104  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is humanity gone? on: October 12, 2017, 02:47:54 PM
Everywhere we see double faced people. People help you but it seems like they always have an motive behind it. Is humanity really gone?

I don't think everyone is out for personal gain there is such thing as family and family and close friends tend to help each other when they may not even feel like it. I have faith in humanity
105  Economy / Economics / Re: Life with out money ? on: October 12, 2017, 02:46:47 PM
I doubt you could survive without any money at all. but maybe having very limited money you could live some sort of nomad life such as the ones on youtube who live one a dollar a day
106  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BITCOIN FUTURE SALE PRICE on: October 12, 2017, 02:45:44 PM
I will anyway hold my BTC till 50k price. Despite all technical problems BTC will be crypto leader for many years and price should only grow and grow

A lot of risk there I doubt Bitcoin will reach 50k in the next 10-15 years
107  Other / Off-topic / Re: What wallets do you use? on: October 12, 2017, 02:44:05 PM
I used to use blockchain.info but converted to electrum a while back as it's just easier and safer dont have to rely on a website for my coins.
108  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: An introduction to forks on: October 12, 2017, 02:42:53 PM
appreciate the post. Getting back into bitcoin and havent really heard of a hard fork before now. So even though bitcoin has all this exposure right now newbies aren't going to want to get involved because of the fork
109  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Your scammed experience? on: October 12, 2017, 02:41:03 PM
Haven't been scammed yet but am a little scared of trading on the forums for that reason. I'll only deal with highly trusted members but a lot of the people in the marketplace are newbies with no track record
110  Other / Off-topic / Re: Help for selecting a smartphone. on: October 12, 2017, 02:38:07 PM

111  Other / Off-topic / Re: Best bitcointalk user and why ? on: October 12, 2017, 02:35:33 PM
default trust members probably due to them being the scammer detectives on the forum
112  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC passes $5,000 USD milestone on: October 12, 2017, 02:32:57 PM
we made it. Even with China trying to destroy the chances we had this year we've actually made it
113  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: October 11, 2017, 02:44:32 PM
I don't see really a reason to replace BTC with an other currency, but nothing is impossible..
What is happening now is that there more and more crypto giving "birth" almost every week or month. It's an interesting market and everyone wants a part of the cake of course :-)
So let's see what the future will say.

The point would be to improve upon bitcoin but at the moment al the alt coins which are some what successful are just copied code with little adjustments here and there. If a real alt coin came out which improved on bitcoin without just changing a few values then it could very well replace bitcoin in the future.
114  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are We Dead Without China? on: October 11, 2017, 01:58:47 PM
All China did really is give us free publicity. Yes they banned the exchanges from operating but people will still find ways around it.
115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What were your experiences with Bitcoin when you first started? on: October 11, 2017, 01:50:48 PM
Back when I started there wasn't too much trading going on and it was more showing off mining results. I lost interest and lost out on making some big money.
116  Economy / Services / Re: [Free]▂▃▅▆█ Bitcoin Transaction Accelerator █▆▅▃▂ for Unconfirmed transactions on: October 11, 2017, 01:42:31 PM
How is this actually done? I've heard about certain services which can do this but surely only the miners can speed up the transaction?
117  Economy / Exchanges / Re: $35,000 usdt appears to be missing from Bittrex Account on: October 11, 2017, 01:37:38 PM
I would contact their customer support directly if I were you rather than post here. they'll likely be able to help.
118  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Amazon Will Accept Bitcoin Speculation on: October 11, 2017, 01:02:22 PM
I see three problems with this: scalability, scalability and scalability. At the moment bitcoin is still not ready for the volume that amazon would bring and i'm afraid that at the current point it would do more harm than good. Once the network is able to process at least one million transactions per second, (and reduce fees) this would be a completely different story.

Why isn't it ready? What negative effects could this have? We have more than enough miners at the moment and new publicity will bring in even more.
119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin has enemy (except altcoin) what is it? on: October 11, 2017, 12:44:41 PM
Aside from governments. It's banks. They do not want to decentralize anything.
120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How much do people fear key loggers? on: October 11, 2017, 12:12:17 PM
As long as you do not download anything fishy and don't visit suspicious links then you can protect against them without the use of antivirus.
