That little pump at swisscex was me testing the waters holding at a higher price. We'll see how it goes from here.

106  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: HASHRA - LUNAR SERIES - ASIC SCRYPT MINERS on: September 13, 2014, 04:59:16 PM
I'm thinking they have a batch of A2 chips? They state on the description they are using 7 modules of chips at 20 chips per module. The chip itself being manufactured at a 28nm level. Which would put this all in the ballpark with my lazy math.

Also, this quote:
"The ASTRO is based on readily available technology already in the marketplace, no speculative pre-order on non tested technology or chip design here!"

These chips could be excess and nearing end of life with all the new gen stuff coming out in Q4.

Simon, it would be great if I could get my Astro before my birthday on Sep 28

I'm still in. I'll hold that wall at 1 litoshi. We should try again for multipool/wallet with the payment held in some kind of escrow to be delivered upon implementation. I'm good for 20% of this bill just PM me.

On a personal note, my hashpower has increased even more recently, and I had an electrician put in 'another' 100amp 240v subpanel yesterday so I dare any of you to dump on me  Grin Grin

Woohoo my box of DPS-2000BB's came in yesterday cant wait to test these puppies and migrate a bunch of miners. I'm going to use fans salvaged from damaged power supplies that are out of warranty or just not worth it to give some airflow to these puppies.

Thanks for all your work on these, after searching Alibaba for hours looking for cheap high quality +12V DC in masse my searches were fruitless.

Looks like I just picked up another 500mil and more at 1 litoshi  Grin

Whoever did that will soon regret it. I'm at work give me a few hours to put up the 1 litoshi wall again.

The planned hashpower for the multipool will make quick work of those 'big' sell walls.

Those walls are actually very small, just a large amount of coins. It is just about impossible to mine even the amount that is posted for .00000002 ltc, and would only take like .2btc or 12ltc to wipe it out and raise the price +100% It wouldn't take long for the planned 600MH + my planned 170MH to get that. The multipool will keep a continuous buying pressure and weak hands will constantly play out. It is a good thing this coin has been sleeping for so long, many of these hands have been played.

I will confess a good chunk of those coins listed are mine, but I have put in over 50ltc holding the price at .00000001 and pumped it a few times to .00000005. I've put a few btc towards this whole endeavor. If these cheaply priced coins sell I still won't profit. I want to give the opportunity for someone to be able to hold a large amount of fail, maybe even enough to become part of the 'billionaires club' at a very fair price and at the same time they will set a new paradigm for pricing for us.

Edit:

Whatever coins I collect from the sale of those walls will be used in turn as buy walls, I enjoy feedback effect.

I would like to host a node for Failcoin. Can anyone point me in the right direction to do this?

If my math is right we are going to see another block halving in 72hours at 140k block?

I'm happy to buy all your FAIL at 1 litoshi. If you support FAIL buy it and hoard it and make it rare. It only takes a half dozen btc and all those cheap coins are gone and for that price you own over 5% of the blockchain. A half dozen btc more would give you even more cheap FAIL from weaker players cashing out on their first opportunity. It will shortly be almost impossible to mine that amount.

I'm surprised I don't have much buy support with me at 1 litoshi but we are talking about FAIL here. I'm not rich or a whale but I will throw some ltc for huge chunks of this fun blockchain I don't care. I've donated over a billion of these coins for dev.

We really need to be able to tip with failcoin. This should be a high priority. Any gaming incorporated into fail is a good thing, FAIL should be a fun coin.

Live long and FAIL!

113  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ARE YOU A COINTERRA BURN VICTIM ? on: June 10, 2014, 04:57:48 PM
Sandhog let me give you my update we had orders placed next to each other I accepted my cointerra and you opted for a refund. I recieved it on April 2nd or 3rd cannot remember. Purchased it around the all time high of $1150 per btc for a total of 5.52btc. It really only has to make that to break even, I have to think in BTC not USD. I rolled the BTC it made into cloud hashing and antminer S1 devices to replace my aging GPU's that were no longer profitable scrypt mining.

So with the help of 3-4btc to start with and the cointerra I now have 7.8Ths of hashpower and a few btc to play with still with more now stacking up. The cointerra has ROI in BTC already. One core in one of the chips tends to get hot and hotter now and I assume it will be an issue further down the line, hopefully I can repack the thermal paste in there to help when it does. Makes ~40% in btc now then it did in April when I got it.

I guess I can login and post here. Previous draconian new account rules prevented me from posting in the past and so I gave up trying  Cry

I love Failcoin and also have great fondness for Swisscex as I have always had good fortune there. The least bit I can do for the team is help get Failcoin listed there as it can also report to Coinwarzs and paves the way for future acceptance.

Good work dev team way to really Fail!
