Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the difference between a "coin" and "token"?

I've heard of some companies offering tokens instead of coins, is this the same thing?
Usually, people are confused and use them for the same meaning. Actually they are different. If you notice on coinmarketcap, they categorize it into coin and token. If cryptocurrency is created from their own blockchain (ex: NEO, XLM. XRP, ETH, BTC,..), we will call it "COIN". If cryptocurrency is based on other smart-contract platform, we call it "TOKEN" (ex: Qtum is based on Ethereum platform)

There are more than 1000 altcoins in the market. What do you think for the most stable altcoins?
There is nothing really stable as such in the crypto world. Not sure what you mean by stable, do you mean "stability of value"? I will think about ETH. In just 3 years, ETH has become very popular, ETH's price has not changed too much and is still stable. Ethereum is the most trusted coin after bitcoin.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you even read whitepaper bro?

Let be real. How many of you guys actually read the whitepaper? I read whitepaper sometimes, but reading multiple of them can be a burden and a headache. Do you guys got any tips on getting through whitepaper a little faster. It killing a lot of time. Thank.
Yeah, I always read it before investing in any ICOs. Although the whitepaper doesn't tell you exactly the future of the project, you should read it because it help you understand more about projects. You will know what you're investing in and how potential it is. Reading whitepaper is useful, not waste time.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How would we know which cryptocurrency would be Scam?

As of now there are 1500+ cryptocurrency exists in the world. Many dead many rising and many has to come. So how can i know the currency ,where i am putting my money is not a part of scam? Or is there any other way so we can check about respected crypto might be it'll work?
If that coin was listed on the exchange and can trade, I don't think there is any scam here. If you don't earn profit from it, it's simply a failed coin, not a scam coin. Did you mean about scams in ICOs?

It feels like it's this time of the year again for the bullish market. Not sure if it's gonna the same as last year though. But many will recover. Whaddya think?
Yes, the market is in a stable stage. And I don't like this at all, I want them to grow up. When you are a holder, you will not want this to happen. I believe crypto will have a "big jump" at the end of this year.

There are so many coins, but many of them just a copy of anothers. Why they waste their time for nothing? I think they don't do it for useless things. Currently, ICOs are very popular, if your project is good, just a short time you can raise a few million dollars. That's why everyone wants to participate in the crypto market.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advice to all bounty hunters.
|
on: July 27, 2018, 03:26:36 PM

Bounty hunters help to expose ICOs to crypto related audience to attract investors for the project. No matter how promising the project may be, if the ICO fails, the project won't see the light of the day. Bounty hunters are very important in ICOs. But there is one thing am not happy about bounty hunters. They usually dump their coins at any price the moment it is listed on an exchage which usually drops the price of the coin even below the ICO price putting the investors at a disadvantage. I want to advise the hunters to hold their bounty tokens for a while in order to maintain a good price for the coin. We shouldn't forget we are all stakeholders
I know there are many investors who don't like this. But dude, they earn token by their own effort, and they have all right to sell/hold. You can't blame them for that. Unlike investors, they don't care about long-term investment, they just need money. If it's a good coin, it won't be affected much by hunter's selling, it will stabilize in a short time.

Of course. Cryptocurrency and blockchain have only grown in recent years, it is still very young and new. Not only ETH or BTC, there are many awesome coins like NEO, EOS, LTC, Waves, ...That means that Blockchain still has a lot of potential that we haven't exploited yet. I believe that cryptocurrency will continue to grow for a long time.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to make money on the fall of the market.

I think buying more top coins is the best idea. In addition, you can invest in ICOs or in other altcoins. There are many altcoins not affected by the market fall. But it isn't always successful, because when the market goes down, everyone loses money. Being calm and waiting for the stability of the market is the best way you can do.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How are tokens in bounty campaign paid?
|
on: July 26, 2018, 04:42:22 PM

Just wanted to ask if we need any kind of wallets to recieve those tokens after the completion of campaign. And also how can token be traded into bitcoins or other cryptocurrencies.Any idea?
You need ERC20 wallet for token based on ETH platform (MEW, coinbase,..), some ICOs use their own platform, so you must use their wallet. Token can only be traded when it's listed on the exchanges. If you want to trade, just send your token to exchanges wallet. It's similar to any other transaction.

Investing has never been easy. If you always fail to invest in an ICO, stop investing. Don't let things get any worse. First of all you should invest in stable coin (BTC, LTC, ETH,...), learn more experience. If you are not a lucky person, don't invest in risky things like ICO.
