I am getting 17340h/s on my 8 GPU Vega 64 Liquid edition rig with 1500W from the wall. Can someone here tell me if they tried more than 8 GPU in a rig with the new drivers and miner?
that;s nice. what's your config settings? Id say thats horrible huh, but ofc power is all over the place with that hashrate. Id downclock to decent ~140w per card @ 1950 h/s.

Down again E: up again, but most coins offline. And I seem to have 25 ultranote coins now, deposited yesterday is there a ETN or XAO fork going on that I dont know of...

So how much for neoscrypt? Because if its 1600 per card as whattomine suggest, ETH is still by far the best @ ~44Mh/s per card @ 140W.

Seems i need to try chrome again, since TV suspects commercial use not only on smartphone but now on pc too. Well now that I review The terms, mining rig remote control qualifies for business use.

Someone test MSI vega 56 Air boost card in mining Cryptonight algo? I bought one and standart overclocks to 955mhz memory is lot of errors. maximum is 905mhz without errors and about 1820h/s. What wrong with this card? And this card bios is imcompatible with other v64 bioses. And no MSI v64 air boost bioses available for download right now. Any ideas?
Force flash the V64 bios? Or did you do that and wont boot? For example im using asus custom 290s which now have xfx bioses since they work the best You always have the bios switch if something goes wrong.

Apparently BTC transfers actually wont proceed if they are late, and exchange rate goes down. I got lightning fast respond to my ticket, that id receive less or they can refund. But hell, 25 bucks alrd spent for the transfer, so I take less than refund in BTC.
I suppose previous times BTC has always rised, since it has been before 22. of dec.
15min window is bullshit, just saying.

Anybody tried any other algos?
Question should be: Anybody tried any other algos and found similar or better results compared to cryptonight? Cheers Same question here. Is there a better site to compare equipment/ hardware to algorithms other than https://whattomine.com/?Whats wrong with that site? Dont think there is better site avaible either. And no, there definately aint any better algos than cryptonight sofar. Vega is super good for it, how good it should be lol

I'm wondering what are you mining with the vegas ?
I've been mining ETN but now Nicehash pays a lot more and I can't find the coin everybody is mining. I prefer to mine the coin directly instead of going trough nicehash.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks.
IT IS ETN, whattomine just takes away 35% by default due to pool bad luck. Easy way to calc correct value is to add 10% to what whattomine gives for nh cryptonigh.

The max mem overclock I can get on 2x Vega56 is 930Mhz and 890Mhz @ 900mV. They are giving me 1940 and 1860 H/s respectively.
Used powertables in registry and blockchain driver. Everything adjusted through OverdriveNTool without using WatMan.
Any hints on how to get more overclock?
Try flashing your card with the Vega 64 BIOS and re-applying the registry mod (use the 1100 HBM to start, to see if it's stable). Tried flashing to Vega64 BIOS before, but the cards were drawing to much Watts from the wall Maybe I am just unlucky in silicon lottery V64 should not use much more power. Im using 1350Mhz and 865mV by registry mod. Taking about 170W per card from wall. Fans are between 2050-2250rpm and temps from 53-58, depending on card and how cold air comes in from window.

I dont know how you got 1900h with only 925mhz on the memory. GPU core sure doesnt matter as much but I find if I adjust memory speed at all it brings down the hash speed right away, I stay as close to 1105mhz as possible, anything below 1050mhz will definetly show. I do think its possible to run the top speeds even at 900mv if the temps are all below 70c. I use a cold air intake from a window, its winter now so its not hard when temps are 5c outside ? The latest AMD driver release allows swapping of config files apparently, saved defaults for various protocols sounds possible. However they dont switch to compute priority for every type of hashing, havent fully tried yet Any UK users have got this and using the AMD VEGA cards?
Mind sharing the price and source to get them, I've been trying really hard to get the RX 580 from past 3 months but no luck, any help from UK users would be much appreciated.
Hope I get some answers, thanks.
You are a bit late to the party. The best deals was on release. We are in transition now hence the lack of stock. I suggest you look at overclockers.co.uk and join the forums and look out for deals, not that I know of any forthcoming like I said 1100 core with 1025 memory, both at 875mV (set with wattman, or overdriventool) on blockchain driver definitely works on vega 64 with no mods , and yields over 1900 H/s at low consumption. And is stable. So there is still room for exploration here. Something's very weird. If I try 1100 core @ 875 and 950 hbm @ 900mV miner crashes after a few seconds. It's like the memory is hitting a wall above 930. Ok so I just realised the GPUs aren't taking the OverdriveNtool settings apart from fan speed and memory clock. Core clock does whatever the fvck they want and so do the voltages. HWinfo64 shows 1.25V on the memory despite me having set it at 900mV... I think I'm going to give Wattman a go Blockchain drivers dont support voltage adjustment. So it has to be done with softpp mod, overdriventool has a builtin editor for it. 2nd, hbm volts are offlimits, only way to mod it is to switch between v56 and v64 bios. V64 has 1.35 and v56 has 1.25v. Thanks, that's a useful piece of info. The guides are good but I hadn't explicitely read about the fact the softpp mod was required to access voltages. I'll look into it in a bit more detail. The hammer/blunt force approach to this is to go into wattman and increase the power draw slider for the card. Move it up a few percent to see if you don't feel like calculating new values for the reg. Its not precise enough I know but you can watch the watts at the wall. What would this achieve though, other than sucking even more power? Currently I have basically tried variations of these two main options (short of a bios mod): 1. 1407@905mV core and 925@900mV hbm (1900h/s/card - 1385W @ the wall for the 6-card rig) 2. core -20% tdp, 925@900mV hbm (1800h/s/card - 1125W @ the wall) For case 1, HBM temp is between 75 and 82C For case 2, HBM temp is between 60 and 70C In either case I cannot increase hbm speed or the rig will crash. Is a bios mod the only way to get higher speed? I read from other people clocking their Vega 56 HBM at close to 1100!... How on earth do they do that? There is no way to clock V56 HBM to 1100 without V64 bios ie. with higher mem voltage. Seems like 950Mhz with v56 bios is about max and some cant do even 900mhz. Then again, higher than 1100Mhz is possible by increasing SOC clock with same softppmod method. Default is 1107Mhz so anything over that wont work without mod. Increasing SOC also means you need to use higher core voltage, some need over 950mv some 900. Im using softppmod set at 865mv, and would need a lot more to increase SOC, which would mean way too much heat and noise. So the answer to get a faster, more efficient setup is really to flash the 64 bios. No chance of getting higher HBM speeds nor a more efficient setup otherwise, as you couldn't offset the loss of hashpower due to lower TDP/core speed by higher mem speed. Looks like I'm gonna play around with vbioses over the xmas holidays... Which bios will people usually flash? The primary one (i.e. the default switch setting on the Vegas) or the secondary? Does it make a difference? I think the 2nd bios ie backup bios is non overwritable. So you can only do it with main bios, 2nd bios is always there is something goes wrong for main

ETN pool is down, or atleast the site shows nothing. Mining still continues
|
|
|
Well ETN nanopool has same problem as all monero pools, OUTDATED shares :S every other ETN pool iv used dont give a single outdated share.
But about 500 ETN min payout, check the monero min payout, its 0,3. 500 ETN is less than a 24h work, 0,3 monero means more than 48h with 11kh/s.
none of this matters anymore , electroneum profit is dead now lol Aslong its more profitable than any other, me thinks its far from dead Still almost 2x better than any other with my rig. And even on nvidia, its still best coin.

I have 35 share but i cant see my stats. It is saying
Account not found Remember: to add your account to the database you should find at least one share
it takes time to load up the information, wait at least 15-30mins, I'd tried the pool seems it is not a realtime with delays, the pool luck is high compared to others. It has been 9 hours and I have 1225 submitted shares but still i cant see my stats.. This wallet is not Exchange wallet it is my offline wallet address also. Is this pool scam or what ? I sent mail bur they did NOT answer. Had the same issue mining with Cast XMR to nanopool with cryptopia address. Got a response from nanopool pretty quick and they are looking into it. Cryptopia says, you should not mine directly to them, and ppl still do it Current cmd wallet aint the most pretty, but it works like a charm. Why every one say that my wallet is NOT an Exchange wallet it is Desktop wallet but despite 1300 valide shares i cant see stats. Seems I only read the last quote, and thought it meant exchange Would be nice to see nanopools difficulty. Sup.rnova has had and still has very high hashrate, but also 200% luck, so not good

there were already many such ups, often they are united by a fall after. and on what news does it rise now?
Yeah don't be too optimistic with IOTA. It will go back to around $1.5-2 shortly. The pump is manipulated for certain. This has been said from the 2$ mark, and every little dump it has risen even stronger And I still dont have any IOTA...

New in this thread and I very much appreciate all the information. I've only turned on mining on my rig for Electroneum in the last 30 minutes. I see a bunch of shares when I remote in (Claymore) and I have 6 GPUs running for a total of about 2400 H/S. I'm using us-etn-pool.hashparty.io:5555. The website shows me at 2.04kH/s (could be correct on average). However, I never see a pending balance update or a total paid update. I would expect at least a pending balance update, I would think...
I had 3 CPU minuers going for Electroneum the past couple days on the uspool. Those are averaging about 235 H/s. I noticed as of this morning at least... the pending balance has froze at 15.29 ETN.
Is there something going on on the network - I only ask because I would have expected uspool.electroneum.com to keep trucking with my CPU Miners at the very least.
thx in advance!
Well your mining on a pool wich finds about 1 block per day, so you will get more ETN once a day, after block is unlocked. You should pick a pool with higher hashrate if you want to see more going on on your balance. Still the overall income should be about same no matter which pool you use, unless its really small pool.

What about 450€ for secondhand V56 All stores give an estimate of january 2018 over here, so it really seems like we wont see many reference cards anymore.
