721  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 16, 2020, 02:44:50 PM
Looks like everybody here who properly invested in bitcoin before 2017 have around at least 50 and possibly closer to 100 btc while other late people who started to accumulate after 2017 have something between 5 and 15.

Makes sense since btc is now at x10 of the 2014's ATH.

Being early pays.

*pussies who stare at their monitors but never buy will never get close to these levels

If the latecomers play their cards right they'll have an opportunity to increase their btc stash by %200 - %500. All it takes is shorting the parabolic at the right time.

Wow.. I started investing in BTC on Oct 2017 and have been investing whatever I can on Bitcoin and am still struggling around 0.2 BTC.  This makes me wonder, how you calculated that if someone started accumulating BTC after 2017 they’ll be having something around 5-15 BTC. Maybe you are talking about the rich guys who are able to invest over 700$ every month 3 yrs back. Sadly, I don’t even earn 700$ a month Sad

I doubt that very many long term bitcoiners really agree with any of the pushes to make cash illegal.. or to discourage the use of cash.
Why not? We already have Petro, the Chinese almost ready to launch digital Yuan, the Japanese are brainstorming whether to have a digital yen and other Governments might also follow. Almost everything has gone digital now  Grin

Is this a 3 days test match as i see  this on cricinfo ?
Quote
Tour Match, India tour of New Zealand at Hamilton, Feb 14-16 2020

If so, this match will be a draw because only one day is left and we have still both the teams to bat.
Yes, it's a 3-day practice match that's going on. Glad to see Burmah and Shami bowl in the Test Match Smiley

725  Local / Off-Topic (India) / Re: Where and how to report illegal source of income in India! on: February 14, 2020, 09:02:43 AM
^ Generally, almost all Government Departments ignore anonymous tips because most of the anonymous tips are given just to divert the focus of the officials. But if you could provide some rock solid proofs of an illegal activity, they might enquire about it first before taking any adverse action on the culprit. By that time, these is chance for leakage of information too. So it's best to provide the information to your friend who is working in Income Tax Department and ask him to protect your identity rather than sending anonymous tips. This is the best approach, if you trust him. If you don't trust him, it's better to send anonymous letters.

Taking the discussions here,
Expecting India to win last game and avoid clean sweep Tongue . But akhjob is away from pools so i am betting on NZ to keep pool interesting and alive. Some juicy odds available for NZ, bookies still favoring India despite 2 consecutive lost.
Just until the end of March  Smiley After that I'll be back again for IPL. Let's see if we can get the Superbru thing in action.

I see 6 subscribers in Royse's Telegram channel, leaving me, you, Royse and Deadley there is still 2 left. Just wondering who that 2 subscribes would be, who haven't made a bet yet.
Edit: Little Mouse might be one.

Unbeaten run of India also came to an end since the last under 19 world cup but rain played a part against India as well. Bangladesh got some good talents for their future international team and three teams from Asia managed to get into top 4 positions in this tournament.
I don't see rain playing any part in this game. It was drizzling for only a few overs and only 7 runs were deducted from the overall total. Clearly the Under 19 BAN team outperformed the Indians in the final. Indian batting was not satisfactory and while bowling, they conceded a lot of extras and several dropped catches. If the bowling was tight they could have put pressure on the BAN batsmen and could have won the final.
Anyways nicely played by the BAN U19 team. And congrats to all Bangladeshi supporters, your future team looks brighter  Smiley
728  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: February 09, 2020, 09:43:53 AM
Indian team newbie Mayank Agarwal and Prithvi Shah are still struggling to get set in the batting order. Last ODI if these two guys are not able to perform then I doubt they will get another chance in the near future.
Mayank did well in Test matches, so he'll get a few more chances in future. But Prithvi Shaw should be given a few more chances and I believe that BCCI will give him a few more chances because this isn't his home ground. Most players have trouble while playing in away grounds.

Rain's can came without any invitation or season in last few years we are facing some good rains because of this cricket so its not matter of worry now lets see what happen tomorrow because if this rain came again then surely India will lift the cup without any problem as they are unbeatable team and title holder so Bangladesh fans will be frustrated.
That would really suck for a world cup final  Sad

Don't they have a reverse day for the final ? If the final is washout who will get the trophee or will it be shared between Bangladesh and NewZealand ? Lets hope the final of World cup is not rain effected.
I am yet to tune in to see the weather conditions.
As per this article, there is no reserve day and both teams would share the trophy. The article also claims that thunderstorms are possible, but the weather is sunny as per Google.
729  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature campaign rule - minimum of 20 posts must be in Gambling :D on: February 09, 2020, 08:32:30 AM
I see too many of you worrying about the Spam that will be generated in the Gambling Section because of the “minimum 20 post per week in Gambling Board” requirement. Everyone were talking about the same when the Cryptotalk Campaign participants were spamming throughout the forum. So how did they fight the spam generated? By actively reporting the spammers to the mods and the CM. If Yahoo was able to handle the big lot of Partcipants, why do you think that Little Mouse can’t handle 25 participants from spamming? If you guys find someone to be spamming just to meet the requirement, just report his posts to the MODs and the CM, let them be removed from the campaign for good.

Edit: Didn't see the last two comments from the CM and the OP before posting  Lips sealed

Looks like its rainy season in South Africa, yesterday's games, ENG Vs SA and U19 match WI Vs AUS were also abandoned because of rain. Let's hope that tomorrow's Under 19 Worldcup finals don't get cancelled.
731  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Mutual betting pool] 2nd ODI Ind vs NZ Feb 08, 2020 on: February 08, 2020, 01:23:33 PM
For the pool payment, I will sort them out in today or tomorrow.
Thank you but there is no need for any hurry. Send the funds when you are free  Smiley

Congratulations akhjob.  Out of the four people betting in this pool, three of them bet for India and only one akhjob bet for NewZealand.
I wonder what he had in his mind when he choose NZ ?  Smiley  or it was just a random guess.
Simply put, made a bet on the Odds. You can't see a 4x for the match in any sports book and I just got lucky. NZ is an above average team, playing in the home ground gives them a slight advantage. So it's ok to bet on them. You can also make counter bet in other sports book and still end up in profit.

Assume if I too made a bet on India and India won this match, everyone will lose few satoshis. So it's a Loss-Loss situation. So I made a bet on NZ. In this case, if NZ wins, I win or if IND wins, they win. In this case, atleast someone is happy, it's better than incurring a loss for everyone. This also crossed my mind.

Ok, Nicely played by NZ and letting me win my last bet Smiley

@Royse, Use the above address for the previous Pool too.
I believe that, I have 9781 satoshis from the previous Pool after making deductions as mentioned here  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5200193.msg53787861
733  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: February 08, 2020, 10:33:51 AM
If this how India plans to play the ODI's then this series will be a whitewash. Good come back and brilliantly played by Newzealand. Today's match shows not only they are good in batting but they have very good bowlers.
^ Don't judge too early bruh. India might comeback hard in the third ODI. As far as this match is concerned, Indian middle order messed up big time. No doubt there. But it was really a thrilling match to watch at the end. When Saini was raining boundaries of Grandhomme, there was slight hope that India could win the match. But I think Jadeja should have stepped up and should have played the big shots instead waiting at the non-striker's end. But credits to NZ they won this match and the series. The newbie, Jamieson well deservingly got the MOM.
734  Economy / Services / Re: EuroGamblers Signature Campaign (Hero and Legendary only- 0.025 BTC per week) on: February 08, 2020, 10:22:11 AM
^ Yeah 20 posts in Gambling threads is a bit too much even for a regular poster. But if that's what the Campaign Manager and the Owner needs, then that's what the participants have to do. But you can find some members who actively post in Gambling section like me (but I'm not eligible). If someone is  spamming for meeting the requirements, most probably someone might report their posts and they might end up failing the requirements or in worst case,  they might endup in other Campaign Manger's blacklist.
735  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: February 08, 2020, 06:12:16 AM
^ Yeah at one point, Kiwis looked dangerous and were looking for a total of 300+ runs. Suddenly things changed and the Kiwis looked troubled losing 7 wickets in quick succession for just 55 runs. When NZ were at 197/8, none would have thought that they would score past 250.  But the newbie, Kyle Jamieson gave a good partnership stand with Taylor for the 9th wicket and posted a decent 273 runs on board. But I don't think that it would be easy for the Kiwis to defend such score in a ground with short boundaries.

I must admit that I am surprised that Justin Sun survived this enthusiasm with Buffett (you missed one t), considering what his twitter looks like after this historic encounter. Now Buffett is the owner of TRX and BTC, does this mean that he will now start talking positively about BTC?
Buffet did sell his Newspaper holdings recently, which he was so proud of and had high hopes for years. He had accepted that this is an Internet Era. Maybe he'll realise the potential of Bitcoin, if we give him some time.
Now that he owns some, he might learn something about Bitcoin and will change his mind when he realises the true potential.

It's amazing that he gives Justin advice on how to move on with TRX, he probably told him to sell everything he had and buy some stocks Roll Eyes

That actually would be a great advice  Cheesy

Enjoy till then, sent 5 just to support you  Tongue
Well I didn't expect that, but thanks for supporting a good cause  Grin Grin

Royse, if I have any payments due. Please let me know. Thanks.
Payment the last pool if I am not massively wrong.

I too busy traveling from last few days this is why I have less activity than usual.
Well if I'm not wrong, each of us will win something around 0.00028+ BTC (didn't do the calculation) and I'm due by only 0.002 BTC, so can you deduct my payment due from the winnings of the pool and let me save few satoshis costing for the transaction Tongue

So finally, the dinner with Warren Buffet is over and looks like Justin Sun had gifted him a Bitcoin and some of his Trash. I bet he knew that Buffet wouldn't accept his Trash without the Rat Poison.

I'm sure that deadley will also be betting on India, so I'll opt for NZ . They really stunned me in the first ODI, let's see what they are capable of.

1. Address to send your winnings:
2. Bet amount: 0.0001
3. Your Pick: NZ
4. Tx (if any): 7785ce356c7ebd6ee19e8a77f36333176d50657f9e64388c413f64002176c385

And I'm taking break from Gambling for a few months just to see that I'm still in control of myself. Moreover, I have taken a break from Sig Campaigns for a month or until I rank up(whichever is longer), so the extra money I spend on gambling here and in other sites have stopped. So this will be my last bet here until we have the IPL superbru Smiley

Royse, if I have any payments due. Please let me know. Thanks.
