I still can't seem to get any connections in my Win client.. going to try Linux I guess. Maybe I should just build from master github?
My only concern here is getting my stuff out of 'trex.
Any addnodes for *.21 client or should I wait for new client (or build Linux)?

I was using the latest tag from github, so I'll try the latest pull instead. That may just solve it.
I wasn't using a .conf until I lost patience waiting for connections. This is on a machine that had no silkcoin wallet before so no issues with old peers.dat or such. I did download that .zip of the chain from github too.
TY for the ideas. I'll tinker some more.

FYI, Trex is delisting SC on Dec. 15th. I don't have time to sort through this thread at the moment so don't know if it's been noted or not. I'm just trying to rescue some SC that are stranded there before I forget about them (again).
I'm trying to get a clean wallet synced and getting no connections. I've tried to find some addnode addies for the .conf, but can't seem to track anything down. Maybe your new wallet will sort it out?
If you don't have a new wallet very soon that works, please publish some valid nodes on the OP?
Thanks.

Whatever I do, I get the message "Sorry, you don't have permission for that! - You are not allowed to visit this community (#1001)" - even when I try to log out or read the privacy policy! Is it an issue with verification?
Maybe you need to verify your email first? ...well... I haven't gotten the email even after 20 minutes of waiting, so I thought maybe I had entered the wrong address. I still haven't gotten it. Check your spam folder? (just trying to cover bases)

Congrats on your progress, mtrlt. I hope all the cynicism and dickery doesn't way you down too much.
Take care of yourself.
Cheers.

Great list. Thanks for the update!
Hopefully some (all?) of the obnoxious whiners will get their refunds so more people can get involved who really want to be in.
I'm really looking forward to the new site, and I'm happy to anxiously wait for the polish.

... and i wasnt annoying anyone it was a civilised conversation as shown upon which he blocked me after i threatened to log the chat where hes been racist
You seem to completely forget about the kinds of vitriol you've been posting yourself for maybe weeks on the chat over there. I've personally seen very aggressive comments and inciting rants, as well as quite rude behavior repeatedly. For instance, you have a way with profanity on occasion that I'm sure is offensive to quite a lot of people -- including the ones you "scream" insults at -- yet you want to pretend that you're some sort of victim by having others say something offensive to you. As usual, there are many sides to every story. It's ridiculous that you are drawing a line with this joke and thinking that this exchange the reason you were banned. There were many complaints about your behavior over time and I'm not sure why you're so confused. The same type of complaints you have against other chat participants, who are also NOT banned for their behavior, are the types of behavior you have also exhibited. I don't like racial jokes either, but neither do I enjoy insults I've seen you spew. You were not banned when you did that for weeks. An obvious -- and self-admitted -- spam bot is certainly enough to get you banned in many chat spaces. All the other definitely-annoying exchanges on the site chat were tolerated just like dozens of other annoying chat exchanges are tolerated. It's a very open chat space, which is an understatement. Some people don't like that, which is fine. Why am I still typing? (Why did I start typing?)

LLOL!
Responses to this ought to be fun.
..."fun" in a "stab yourself in the gut with a blunt object" sort of way.

Context is important to understanding. When there is a lack of context, it's always smart to withhold judgement on a few quotes.

Aside from the point of keeping full control of your money and not leaving it in the hands of others, I've had very good experience with mcxNOW. The only reason I could see to "worry" about leaving money there would be the usual issues one might have with /ever/ having any of your money out of your own hands.
That said, the exchange is very stable and very fast. By far the best out there, to me. New features are added after much obvious testing and security appears excellent. It's run by an expert in both cryptos and in websites, but more than that, it's a professional application behind the scenes. Real good stuff.
Regarding the ads, I was a little annoyed by the thought at first, but then it took the form of something more like a community bulletin board of sorts. It's actually interesting to read through, as it gives a glimpse (for now) into the community that trades there and into who is vying for the eyes of folks interested in crypto. I sort of dig the ads -- which is strange.
BTW, it's a simple fix if you don't want to see them: just resize your browser width a tad and poof! They're invisible now! (Yeah, yeah.. adblock. Whatever. I never run anything full-screen, so I'm not bothered by leaving the ads running and occasionally full-screening to see what's new.)
Blabber much? Yes, but the more I have issues with other exchanges, the more I realize just how great mcxnow is. Fanboi or not.

Maybe copperlark get some more notice now it's on English exchange?
There are sure a lot of places that could use some translation love.

Thats cool but how do we mine it? Someone post some GPU instructions please... LOL
My only luck so far has been letting Chrome translate their site for me. Clients are here, which I'm installing in VM to be cautious: https://copperlark.com/download/It's a SHA3 coin, so not something that will just work with cgminer from what i see. I think you'll need to use their client to mine solo for now, unless anyone finds a pool out in the wild somewhere.

And hello to you, too. (whew! Now I'm done with the posts to get fully out of newbie hell for the thread I need to post in. This was excruciating.)
