62  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: GROUP BUY of BITFURY chips + NanoFury NF1 2GH/s USB stick PRODUCT ASSEMBLY in US on: October 02, 2013, 10:03:25 AM

......

Acknowledgments and other information:

* This project was inspired to a great extent by BKKCoin's Klondike K1 Nano Open Source Board and we're grateful for all his work and we'll continue to support his project down the road as we can!

* We've reused the same physical dimensions (including heatsink holes size and position) with the goal that if necessary we may share the same plastic hosing and/or heatsink. We are also planning to release this project as Open Source as well.

I ordered NF1s from marto74 because I am from EU and I would like to prepare heatsinks in advance. I can't find drawing of K1 Nano and I don't know if version 05 still reuses same physical dimensions.

So can you share drawing with physical dimensions of NF1?

I prefer A/C over battery backup with this low probability of outages.

Do you have results of hashrate upgrade vote?
66  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [CLOSED]R2:HashFast FTW! + Host, $151.50/share w/ BTCrow. Payments due Wed. 8PM on: September 24, 2013, 07:14:23 AM
This upgrade means $3/GH/s (with overclocking to 500 GH/s) in December and additional payment of $38 per share.

I vote for upgrade with my 4 shares.

re-voting my re-vote - Hashfast looks like good opportunity

I already voted for Bitmine, but now I think KNC will be better choice, DZ please change my vote

Some information, speculation and my thoughts that led me to change my vote:

Assumed KNC ship date - 20th November, with 23rd November delivery, Bitmine ship date - 23rd December, with delivery in the end of December/beginning of January.

KNC Jupiter will be probably 500+ GH/s (but not upgradeable) and delivered min 30 days before Bitmine - this could be crucial. Majority of return will be gained in first 3 difficulty jumps even before Bitmine devices ship.

Worse J/GH/s ratio of KNC Jupiter against Bitmine devices isn't important with cheap electricity.

Network hashrate jumped to 1270 TH/s Shocked (only ghash.io is 190 TH/s) and there will be huge jump with KNC September/October delivery in 1-2 weeks. The sooner we start mining, the better chance to ROI.

Estimate of ASIC pre-orders (6,000 to 8,000 TH/s by end of 2013) by DeathAndTaxes

Additional info from Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread:

3. Are the hashing cards for Coincraft Rig and Coincraft Desk compatibile?
Good question, we should add it to the FAQ. Actually no, they are completely different designs: the desk is cheaper and uses less chips running at higher power usages while the rig is more expensive, has an higher amount of chips and they're running cooler.

What does it mean? My guess...
CoinCraft Desk: max 5 hashing cards, each card with 10 chips clocked in nominal mode of 20 GH/s
CoinCraft Rig: max 17 hashing cards, source of first 500 GH/s unknown, max 10 additional cards (according to specification) with 15 chips clocked in power save mode of 10 GH/s?, some slots for cards are still free?

So can we get 2 TH/s in turbo mode from 500 GH/s CoinCraft Rig? Probably not..
Will we upgrade to more then 1 TH/s in future?

CoinCraft Rig has better J/GH/s ratio-not so important with cheap electricity and short time of operation (5-7 months), is rack mountable, but GH/s/$ ratio is worse then CoinCraft Desk.

Ahoj vsem z CR a SR,

Resili jste tohle?
73  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: 120Gh ASIC for 2784$ shipping, hosting, group buy! on: June 04, 2013, 08:54:05 AM
What is power consumption of whole miner?
I can't find it anywhere.

Only chips should consume 0.7x120 = 84W. Is that right?

I got same error on friendīs Radeon 7750 with clock speeds at default.
Installation of latest driver didnīt help, will try some kind of driver cleaner and clean installation of drivers.

78  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How did you buy your first BTC? on: May 28, 2013, 07:49:31 PM
I mined 0.7 BTC nearly 2 years ago in pool, 2 months ago I requested payout from pool and then I realized that I donīt know where I created my payout address and I donīt have access to it.
So my first bitcoins are effectively lost. Embarrassed

Now I bought BTC using Bitstamp exchange.
