I completely agree with you, most people don't research the project or even read the whitepaper, they just join a random bounty campaign and expect a high payment.

People should treat the campaign they are joining like they would an ICO they invest in by research everything about it before participating because you are just wasting your time if you don't and time is as valuable as money in my opinion.

Most of the time I agree with you that you should never sell for a loss but sometimes selling might be a good choice if you find a great opportunity with another coin that might make you way more profit than if you had kept the other coin.

First thing first you need to explain yourself in proper english so maybe we can understand what you are trying to say and help you.

If you have an easier time speaking another language other than english, there are plenty of local boards with great communities where you can ask all the questions you might have.

The best advice I can give you is that you should invest in coins that you really believe in. If you think you might panic sell and you can't control yourself, just delete blockfolio and stop looking at the prices for some time.

If you researched everything about a coin and you know that it will have a great future, you don't have anything to worry about.

I research tens of ICOs every day but I might miss some and your thread will help me for sure. If you didn't check it already, FabricToken has a MVP that will go live as soon as the ICO finishes.

The ForkDelta smart contract is just the smart contract used by ED, they are not yet split from etherdelta and they can't do anything about your lost ETH since they don't own anything from ED.

The only chance you have is to contact the ED support and hope they respond.

I was in that campaign too and I would like to know if the tokens will be sent at the same time as the tokens from this campaign.

If a dev could clarify it would be great.

Fully cash out? Never

I don't plan to ever cash out because there's no point. I started investing in crypto because I strongly believe we will transition away from fiat in the next 10 to 20 years so when that happens fiat will be useless and everyone will use crypto in the everyday life.

Honestly I'm surprised that the % is so low, I would have guessed that at least 85% or more would have failed by now or in the process of failing.
Most projects just make huge promises to get funding but end up not delivering or just making a half-assed job just to avoid being called scammers.

What impresses me the most are the people giving money to so many garbage project without even a MVP.

To answer your question I have never lost money investing in an ICO, hopefully I can keep that going for me for a bit more.

I suggest you to take a look at FabricToken (Disclaimer, I both invested and doing their signature campaign).

They have a low hardcap for the ICO 9M, devs are really active on their telegram, max 9 ETH for each person, already have a working product, no ICO bonuses and other bullshit. The only downside is that the ICO ends in 35 days and will probably reach the cap a couple of days before the end.

The first part of their project is a smart contract generator that will go live as soon as the ICO finishes because it needs the token to be able to function. For now they have some basic smart contracts but they will implement more complex ones in the near future.

You shouldn't just limit to those things, there are tons of other things you need to take into consideration before investing your money.

You need to look at how the token sale is structured to know how much it can grow, how much attention they have on their social channels, how active are the devs, if they already have a MVP and so many other stuff.

You should check out FabricToken, they don't have any bullshit token bonuses, they have a MVP, admins are super responsive and friendly in telegram, they have a great project and only $9M Hard Cap on the ICO.

In my opinion it's one of the best ICO right now. Just don't take my word for it and do your own research you won't be disappointed.

It's very likely that BTC will hit $30k before the end of 2018. Lighting network is spreading and everything seems to be working fine, fees are really low, more and more people every day are moving to segwit addresses.

Hopefully governments will stop spreading fud about banning BTC and we are set for a great year.

I sell most of the bounty tokens I receive, while the tokens I receive from projects that I think are really good I keep them, every couple of weeks/a month I look for updates on the project and decide if I want to keep holding the tokens or sell them and I repeat this process until I sell the tokens.

With $160 I would just invest all of them in a single ICO that you think is really good.

The most important thing is do your own research in the ICO you will invest in and don't just blindly send ETH to the ICOs people shill. There's a lot of bad projects around but you can find great ones too if you seach well enough.

There are some gems you can rarely find in airdrops. For example I partecipated in both the HAT airdrop and BTW one, but those are only 2 between the almost 100 airdrops I got into in late 2017.

Now I stopped doing them because it's pretty much a waste of time to get into because there is a really super low chance that the project turns out to be good.
