1  Local / Accuse scam/truffe / Re: +41 77 902 40 47 scammer on: March 08, 2020, 11:47:08 AM
Dear Italian folks;

I'm aware that the area code belongs to Switzerland, not Italy. I'm Argentinean born, son of Italians and I decided to advice here as well.

I have no sufficient evidence to formally accuse him as scammer, however I advice anyone dealing with them, to deal with care.

There seems to be a team of people behind this number, asking to buy a bulk amount of bitcoin, in person, in cash, in Switzerland. I might be misjudging him or them, and they might be completly legit, but after 3 days of conversation, I got the feeling that their requirements for the operation where not typical.

I regret saying "scammer" I should say "deal with care".

My best intentions for the community.
Deal with care.
Chris

Hi!

@Mods, need some help here. Could we move this thread into the right section for bitcoin games?

This is just to update that the game is almost complete and we are looking for commercial partners in order to help us with the advertisement and the game promotion.

After 6 months already of permanent work, we almost have a reasonable product in alpha.

www.bitofwar.com

Supports drones to spy without money, and also there's a free trial version comming up soon.

If you believe you can help us it writting articles about it, it would be really appreciated.

Please feel free to reach at info@psychedelicgames.com

kind regards;
Chris

Since I think using ads on most social media is currently difficult, I suggest:
  • Posting a thread about your game here on bitcointalk(and make it a good one, not a text-only thread without enough details)
  • Paying a crypto-related website to place a banner of your game up on their site
  • Advertise through crypto-related ad networks like coinzilla etc(not affiliated with coinzilla)
  • Advertise here on bitcointalk [1]
  • Probably a signature campaign?

[1] https://bitcointalk.org/adrotate.php?adinfo

Hi, mjglqw. Do you have any experience with Coinzilla? Sounds like it could be interesting. We're gonna prepare as well a proper introduction post to publish here once we finish the development.

Thanks for the kind comments and feedback!!

Did anyone try to advertise with the signature campaigns as mentioned? How was your experience?
12  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Where to advertise (A bitcoin game) on: October 17, 2018, 10:16:50 AM
Oh so it's connected to blockchain Shocked, interesting! but i'm really at loss on how it works haha. Maybe you guys could add a "HOW IT WORKS" or FAQ page? I'd like to get briefed first before I try playing the game

As for your question, from what I know facebook loosened their rules on crypto ads so in order to advertise there, you need to submit an application. And idk about twitch, sorry
For now, I recommend you to polish an ANN thread. Also, if you could run a campaign here, that's better

btw, tried to join your discord group but there's nothing :/

Thanks for all the feedback!!!

#1 Would you mind to explain me a bit more in which section of the forum I should create the ANN Thread?

#2 Would you mind to tell me where is the broken Discord link? Here is a working link: https://discord.gg/Un7CyV

How does the game work?

1) Registration is free and open to everyone.
2) Players spawn a tank in a battlefield and play against another players.
3) Win 1,000 bits for each player you kill.
4) Transfers are made directly into private, in game, wallets and money is free to withdraw at any point.

Needless to say, if you are eliminated, you also lose 1,000 bits, which are automatically and directly transfered to the player who killed you.

16  Economy / Gambling / Looking for PARTNERS! on: October 17, 2018, 09:27:51 AM
Hi everyone!

After a few long months of development, we're almost done with BitofWar.com, what is BitofWar I heard you saying? BitofWar is a multiplayer War Game connected and operating with Bitcoin Segregated Witness. If you want to read more about it, feel free to check http://bitofwar.com/ if you want to try a free demo, feel free to do it from:  https://playground.bitofwar.com/

We are looking for business partners:

As we don't yet have solved the marketing strategy, we have decided to offer up to 25% of the net profits from each user you are able to get! what does it mean? the game uses transactions between players, hence it's player vs player, but there's a small spawn fee charged.

That's our gains and it could be your gains as well, if you are interested in helping us with the marketing, or, specially if you already have a bitcoin gamblers / players community.

This offer is time limited.

To anyone interested, feel free to reach me personally,

Chris;

Hi, we have been working during the last 4 months already in a multiplayer bitcoin game. We're close to finish the development. If you want to take a look:

http://bitofwar.com/
Or feel free to play the last demo at https://playground.bitofwar.com/
Or the previous release at https://play.bitofwar.com/

The question is:

Where can we advertise a bitcoin game nowadays?
Is it possible to advertise on facebook?
What about twicth?

Finally, does someone have experience in this matter and would like to help?

20  Bitcoin / Project Development / Looking for S.W.I.M on: October 12, 2018, 08:22:03 PM
Hello!

So sorry! lol, I've been running the whole week.

I wanted to speak with you about a few things... I'd like to run a new business with you..

Where you can actually take care of the traffic, as it seems like you know how to do it, you only need a top line product.

We can do 30%  for you if you can handle the traffic... we would just need to know which product to develop.

I think a player vs player software is good, as we don't need to deal with the bankroll, it could be something that easily allow us to "rent" the game... or "rent the gaming space".

So essentially, a game, where players play against each others, like paintball or poker I believe, and we just "rent the room" for a 3%-10%.

We can actually deliver up to 1 game per month, depending on it's complexity.

Bit of war has taken already 3 months, so you can imagine. However, we can use the same bitcoin API, and big part of the menus, are totally easy to recycle.

So, let's say, if we would have to make bit of war again, it would only take 1 month and a half, as we already have the Blockchain stuff and 2 APIs sorted out.

Hence, I believe if you do agree with me, that we could actually do some king of "cooking" plan, with the following steps:

Roles are already defined:

- Me: design + heavy programming.
- Tuna: markup and UI develop.
- You: Once the product is ready, gathering the users.

Then we do:

Loop {

    1) Think about what type of game or casino we want to create.
    2) Find an open source game  or open source game engine online that we can use to kickstart it.
    3) Make the necessary changes in the graphic design.
    4) Make db.
    5) Make necessary connections to the API servers.
    6) Test the product internally until desired functionality is acquired.
    7) Launch the product to the market.

}

Bitcoin network allow us to transfer, split and gather the money easily, we could even make some personal meeting once we have 1 or 2 products already running on the market.

I would suggest to operate using the company name www.psychedelicgames.com, however a new company name, such as "blockchain.games" would be nice.

At this point I believe that all of us know that if we do something like this, together, and with good intentions, we can produce a massive amount of income for the 2019.

As long as BTC doesn't collapse in Buenos Aires G20....

And as long as huge companies like Valve, or EA or Nintendo don't start doing BTC games, it's an open market, there doesn't seems to be good programmers working on this yet.

But in a couple of years from now, if we don't make a big company, all this will be not longer possible, as better programmers than us will shortly start doing better and better games in crypto-currencies.

I have seen nothing but simple games, that are not even games, Crypto-Kitties style.

Finally but not less important, bitofwar.com is almost ready.

If you can help us anyhow to make this work (we need users!) I don't have any problem in splitting equity every single day with you.

I mean, actually paying dividends, or your part of the project on daily basis.
