601  Economy / Reputation / Re: hugeblack made false accusations against me. on: July 11, 2023, 05:36:00 PM
To be unbiased, I have known the hugeblack member for a long time, and I trust his justice. The history of previous feedback that he sent to any member before this case resulted in conclusive evidence, whether positive, negative, or neutral. As for the OP's case, Hugeblack did the right thing because what veteran members here, like @lovesmayfamilis, @YOSHIE, @holydarkness, and @JollyGood, pointed out is enough evidence to prove that Hugeblack didn't make false accusations or falsely neutral trust.

Suppose the OP can provide evidence that he is the original owner of the account by signing a message to one of the Bitcoin addresses referred to by @JeromeTash dating back to 2017. In that case, Hugeblack can reconsider his matter. Still, about that, he came back after a long time and changed the password and email and deleted the posts, and edited the titles of most of the topics to (.) upon his return; this really raises doubts.

603  Economy / Scam Accusations / Referral campaigns to phishing sites -ARSO/HOOKED WALLETS on: July 09, 2023, 05:56:07 PM
What happened:: A Newbie member promoting a referral and airdrop campaign for an unknown wallet phishing site called ARSO WALLET. After opening the site, it turns out that it is a dangerous site, and the following message appears:
Quote
Deceptive site ahead
Attackers on arsowallet.org may trick you into doing something dangerous like installing software or revealing your personal information (for example, passwords, phone numbers, or credit cards).
This is not all; after visiting this site and skipping the warning notice, and after registering an account, it becomes clear that you have obtained a bonus, but you can never withdraw it or make a stake except by depositing your crypto via the deposit address of this scammer.

605  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM - mycoinchange.io - Fake Crypto Exchange on: July 07, 2023, 08:31:48 PM
Hello Bitcointalk community,

I am writing to bring to your attention the fraudulent activities being carried out by the fake crypto exchange website "mycoinchange.io". This SCAM accusation serves to highlight several alarming factors that indicate the website's deceptive practices and lack of credibility.

Thank you for posting this warning about the scam Mycoinchange platform.

I have not tried this platform and have not heard of it before, and they do not have any information about the team or any information about it, and after I reviewed it, it turned out that their support team is fake

https://www.linkedin.com/in/erica-howard-potter-2779603/
https://www.haa.pitt.edu/people/rebecca-lowery

The logo they put of Trustpilot also indicates that it is a clear scam because their platform is not listed on Trustpilot. They do not have any reviews or feedback other than the fake feedback on their platform that they manipulated.

606  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Nokiamemes.com - Fake airdrop & SCAM Project on: July 07, 2023, 07:25:27 PM
DONT EXPLOIT FORUM FOR FAKE NEWS

First, why did you modify the content of the airdrop and pre-sale topics and change their titles? After you saw this topic of accusations of scams against your project, you wanted to remove the evidence that condemns your project, but you forgot that all topics are archived.  Smiley

THE ORIGINAL HAS SUPPLY OF 331B TOKENS TOTAL > NO BLOCKLIST AND NO MINT OR BURN !!!!!
Truly? LOL And if it was really the original one other than this one that I mentioned on this topic? Why didn't you mention it on your site or here? Also, on your site, you mentioned that the Indestructible Nokia3310 Smart-Contract has been audited and verified by CERTIK, so what is your conclusive proof for this? Knowing that the currency of your project does not exist in Certik, I also contacted Certik support, and they reported that your project is a scam. I will attach a screenshot for you.

----------------
Last thing, in the presale counter on your site, see the screenshot above. In less than 11 days, you raised $56,820 from investor funds, and today the raised funds have increased to $63,860. What is the evidence for this matter, and the presale time counter indicates that only 20 hours remain at this stage, and today the time has increased to one day and 8 hours. This is another evidence of your fraud. [You are manipulating the counter]

Waiting for your response to these accusations against Nokiamemes.
607  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Accepting Bitcoin on: July 06, 2023, 11:22:43 PM
Since I joined this forum I have always wanted to invest in Bitcoin however Bitcoin investments in my country is not easy because of our currency value and the government is not in much support am currently working on convincing my mom to accepting Bitcoin in her tailoring shop i Also intend on hodling those Bitcoins

I would appreciate any advice on this my move
Suppose your government does not give Bitcoin acceptance and a green card. In that case, it is not a good idea to make it the primary payment method for your mother's tailoring shop. Also, the customers can deceive your mother because she does not understand anything about Bitcoin and its transactions and the like. I advise you to make the tailoring shop payment method in any acceptable currency in your country by the government, and through the store’s revenues, you can invest in bitcoins; there are many safe ways, such as exchange platforms and others. Also, if you want to invest in Bitcoin and you and your mother do not blame you for wasting the store’s revenues because, as you know, the Bitcoin market is volatile and involves risks. You have to gain experience, learn the basics of investment, educate yourself from popular books and YouTube, and then invest what you can lose, not the entire revenue, but the small amount you want to hold for the long term.
608  Economy / Scam Accusations / Nokiamemes.com - Fake airdrop & SCAM Project on: July 06, 2023, 10:33:23 PM
What happened:: The airdrop topic was published in the Bounties (Altcoins) section for a scam project called Nokiamemes. In order for the participants to participate in it, they have to open the site and then complete some tasks, including buying their currency, which they claimed it has been audited and verified by CERTIK, and this is a lie because after I looked at the Certik site and searched for the name of their currency, which is (Indestructible Nokia 3310 (NOKIA)). Its symbol is NOKIA, and its smart contract is 0x0E267BB13A6369599d7eF20b552EBAF20120c1B2. It did not show me any results related to their currency. They also claim that they raised $56,820 for pre-sale, and their site is 11 days old until today, and they have no communities.

I hope that no one of the bounty hunters did not participate and buy their currency through Metamask because it is possible that after purchasing their currency, the hunters will lose their entire wallets, Certik was a good way to condemn this scam project, and I hope any investor or hunter in Airdrop or Bounty should do such research before he connects his wallet Because it is one of the crucial pieces of evidence that could potentially unravel the whole scheme and serve as proof to know the project and unveil it as a scam.

610  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still hunt for airdrops? on: July 05, 2023, 09:45:30 PM
I think it's better to create a new wallet that only used for airdrop, so it's safer and makes our main wallet more secure, then of course we will never be afraid to participate in any airdrop, because the wallet we use to join airdrop is a new wallet and not a wallet for storing assets that we have (main wallet).
Although it is an excellent way to reduce the risks, if you also create a new wallet, you need to fill it with some money, and this money that will be paid as a fee can be stolen, so it should be little money that you can afford to lose. Also, I think it is better before you connect any of your wallets to do your research. Yes, it will take some time, but this is the ideal solution to avoid falling victim to scam airdrops. Frankly, I prefer projects with their own network and robust ecosystem because it will likely give the first participants a fantastically profitable airdrop. I made good profits this year from solid airdrops such as Aptos, Space ID, ARB, and Indxcoin, and I see many other opportunities that are still not finished yet. Airdrop hunting is excellent and profitable, but the hunter must have the experience so as not to lose his wallet and waste his time.
611  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is now a good time to buy BNB? on: July 05, 2023, 08:16:26 PM
regardless of the Binance vs SEC issue I would say "yeah it's not too late to buy BNB". I say this because the current BNB price is still relatively low and most likely the BNB price after this will continue to rise. especially when the crypto market enters a bullish phase, the price of BNB will definitely rise much higher than the current price.
Although I am at a big loss as a result of my investment in BNB, and its price fell by more than 20% after the FUD caused by the SEC, I am sure that BNB will one day become one of the top gainers on CMC after we witness the next bull run, BNB is a strong currency and will remain it is alive and achieving bigger pumps as long as Binance Global and Binance US remain, its current price is reasonable to buy at a terrible discount before it crosses the barrier of 300-400 dollars, as it is a currency that has significant use cases and has a distinguished network and has excellent demand by investors, and there are many projects that are listed on Binance launchpad from time to time and thus makes investors buy BNB in large quantities to participate, which will positively affect the price of the BNB, so I am reassured that I will compensate for my loss with good profits in the future, but we must wait patiently.
612  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CEO LayerZero Twitter account hacked on: July 04, 2023, 10:38:10 PM
The Twitter account of Bryan Pellegrino, who is the CEO of LayerZero, has been hacked. The scammers posted a tweet inviting them to claim their ZRO on a phishing site - https://twitter.com/PrimordialAA/status/1676325729997586432.
Be careful, stay safe.
Really bad news, I don't know how scammers get access to Twitter accounts so easily if the account owner has secured his account protection well. And suppose the phishing link was posted on the CEO's account only without other LayerZero accounts. In that case, this is conclusive evidence that Bryan's account has been hacked and that there is no airdrop already. [If people did their research for a few minutes, they would solve the equation and not be scammed]

Through ZachXBT's tweet, I saw that the hacker had stolen $1,000 of the victims' assets through this phishing site. Sad about the losses of these innocent people. Fortunately, the tweet is now unavailable so that more of the LayerZero community will not be scammed and stolen. I don't know if CEO LayerZero has recovered his account now or not?!

613  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What do you think about the SENECA Blockchain project? on: July 04, 2023, 09:41:20 PM
Hello guys,

After reviewing the announcement topic of the [ANN][SENECA][SNCA] 1st PERMISSIONLESS LAYER 1 BLOCKCHAIN using ZK ENVIRONMENT

What is Senca?
A new Layer 1 blockchain built for the future of AI and applications. Seneca enables, for the first time, full apps to be built and run on a trustless system that requires no sharing or access to data.

They launched a Seneca testnet named Zeno in Q2 of 2023. And they are targeting the end of 2023 to launch the Seneca mainnet.

-------

Seneca's Unique Technologies:

* Zero Knowledge Environments
* Intelligent Data Layers
* Bidirectional Oracles

-------

Seneca pre-sale is Open now:

Current price: $0.03
Round target: $100,000
1 pSNCA = $0.03

* pSNCA itself will be minted on POLYGON mainnet, and they will allocate 85 million tokens in total for the presale, which is 5%.

* There will be six rounds, priced at $0.03 USD per token for the first round, increasing to $0.08 for the last round.

* A Seneca token will be called by the same name, Seneca, and the ticker symbol SNCA. For brevity, they will call the ERC-20 tokens minted during the presale of the pSNCA.

-------

These are some of the details I got through this project. I wanted to publish this topic to open a discussion about the Seneca project and the pre-sale event and to see your advice and opinions, and is this project really worth investing in? (This topic is not a paid promotion or invitation to invest) Please share your opinion & Do your own research and invest at your own risk.

614  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Scam]: Fake 10ktf website on: July 03, 2023, 10:47:07 PM
What happened: There is a fake https://10ktf.com/ out there so be careful. And if you are going to look at https://opensea.io/collection/10ktf, it's one of the biggest out there. So criminals just copy the website and will ask you to connect your wallet right away.

Website:
Code:
https://l0ktf.com/

Really glad that Metamask has restricted the site; this warning will be a good way for people to close the phishing site after seeing this. 10KTF collection is well known on Opensea and famous; they are trying to create phishing domains similar to the official domain of the collection in order to trap victims and steal their NFTs which are currently floor priced at 0.09 ETH, and steal their entire wallet. Thank you, @OP, for this catch, and I hope you and anyone will continue to publish warnings about any new phishing platforms or sites and others to raise Newbies' awareness and warn them not to lose their assets.

615  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Selling Stealth PayPal Account! on: July 03, 2023, 09:47:52 PM
What happened:: The user is selling stealth PayPal account. Which is already scam and also from that it might be happened scam again.
This is a suspicious seller, and his rank is a Newbie, and he does not have any good reputation, and I can be sure that once anyone buys a Stealth PayPal Account from him, he will take it back and lose the money. It is clear that he chose the bitify.com platform because it has poor support. They do not review the listings and do not solve the problems of their customers, and do not return their money in the event that they discover any fraud by sellers, and this is what I concluded from the reviews of 2 clients on Trustpilot about this platform, which seems to be a suitable environment for fraud due to the lack of censors, so I hope that anyone will not deal through this platform and not deal with any sellers who do not have a reputation or a good rank in the forum and the dealing is must be done through a good and well-known escrow as well. Buying these financial accounts is not a good idea because they can be stopped at any time or restored by the scammer.

617  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] SCAM BITTREX Exchange Website [Don't Connect Wallet] on: July 01, 2023, 04:24:36 PM
What Happened: I just noticed a Scam website of BITTREX Exchange. It's interface is same like the original website. This website asking to connect your wallet through Metamask or WalletConnect. The experts will be able to catch easily by looking at the website link and the WalletConnect option but it can be a confusing trap for the beginners. Because almost 80% contents of this website are similar with official site. Also the App link from scam site is redirecting to the Official app in Play store and the twitter link refer to the official Twitter account. The main purpose of this scam website to hack users wallet or to steal funds. Scammers are promoting this scam website in a fake Bittrex community telegram group where we see 30K+ users though members can be bought easily . They are advising to use this Phising website if any transection gets stuck or pending or hacked account. So it's a very very risky for everyone specially new users.

This is what made me laugh; frankly, they claim that this phishing site is a beta version of the Bittrex exchange which is in the process of being tested before the official release; these scammers with low IQ do not know that there is an exchange with an official release now and it is already bankrupt. I do not think that there is anyone who will connect their wallet and believe this Nonsense, most of the links of this phishing Bittrex site are broken, and the HTML pages are stolen from the official platform and not loaded.

Anyway, thank you, OP, for this topic, and I hope that every newbie will have good foresight and not connect their wallet to such phishing sites even if they are similar to well-known exchanges.
618  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 400$ Loan defaulted by [Yabes] on: June 30, 2023, 10:17:50 PM
I have viewed the user's post history and it seems that he has taken loan from you multiple times previously and paid the loan with interest. However, this time I think something wrong might have taken place in his life. The guy seems to be an honest person because his/her post history shows that, but still he defaulted the loan, and that's not a good thing at all. I'm sorry for your loss buddy, I have seen that you have faced many losses because of such users. I hope that in future the users wont do such things with an honest lender like you. I'm still not sure that if the guy is a scammer or not, but I'm also supporting you with flag against him until he pays your money back.
But the amount of the last loan is higher than all the loans that he paid before, and it is possible that he will not return again because he became inactive after taking the loan directly, and this is an indicator that makes us suspicious of him. There is no one who is not devoid of life circumstances, but what is the circumstance that can prevent a person for all this time after taking the loan? Is it difficult for a few minutes out of 24 hours to reply to Shasan's messages who gave him the loan? He should have done this to explain to him the reason for his delay in paying the loan amount and interest, and I know that the OP will give him enough time. Sad about this loss, and I hope that the borrower will return and pay the loan even though I don't expect this. Just my 2 Satoshis, The flag supported.

620  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kids and Bitcoin on: June 29, 2023, 09:56:54 PM
My question is where can I buy Bitcoin comic books that can catch the attention of children between the age of 7 to 11? I want something in comic or story book style and with full story about Bitcoin or related... I want to buy and wrap them up for the surprises.
The age of 7 years to 11 years is really early, and it is possible through comic books and storybooks about Bitcoin to acquire some general information, but this also varies from one child’s abilities and understanding to another child. Some children are genius enough, curious, and love to learn, and they are the ones who will enjoy these comics and storybooks about bitcoin and crypto; they want to know more and look at other stories, and there are children whose scientific abilities are limited, and they prefer simple cartoon stories away from acquiring comics or storybooks that tell a purely informative story. Anyway, it is a good idea, and you can try and buy one of the books and show it to your children, and through their conversation, you will know whether you were buying more books about bitcoins or that they are not interested.
