many projects will die not a specific one look at 2015 projects only few still fight now

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ico fund raising on: December 22, 2018, 01:13:58 PM
Does the amount of money raised in an ico determine the success of the project??

Is a necessity to do a fund raiser in order to start up a project??

Did satoshi nakamoto and vitalik also started a fund raised??
no doesnot necessarily means success of an ico ,many icos reached the hardcap and failed but ti succeed you need to raise at least the softcap
5  Economy / Economics / Re: HOW TO PREPARE FOR THE NEXT BULL RUN 2019 on: December 22, 2018, 01:12:01 PM
There is nothing like bull run in 2019 , so kindly make up your mind and buy little you can afford now and trade small by small till it might become an ocean in soonest, the market is always swinging and that is the the bull that make a little to be a big and never expect the one time run to success.
i do not think will be a next bull like BTC 20k again in near future
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When bullrun comes on: December 22, 2018, 01:10:13 PM
Ive come in contact with few newbies that are confused about which coins to invest in ,well this is for you, be cautious and stay away from coins that have nothing to offer ,I meant if there is no reason creating that coin its mess, but all the same when bull run comes its win win for everybody ,yes everybody, unless dead coins ,even coins that are lower than 1sat goes over 30sat at last bullrun  even crappy projects became profitable ,I have a family friend that all his highest profits canes from the shit coins ,so worryless bullrun won't come anything soon but it will.

wt do u mean by bullrun if you mean BTC at 20 k again it is so difficult and will take many months from now

9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Goodbye Blockchain. Hello Hashgraph. on: December 17, 2018, 09:23:48 PM
Please don't shoot me Tongue  I too reacted the same way when I read the topic title.Infact, being an optimistic blockchain supporter,I didn't even bother to open the article until the geek inside me pushed me to.Anyway,I was surprised.I mean we should embrace the changes right ? Here ya go,welcome HashGraph.

For the lazy heads
The new consensus algorithm

Introducing Hashgraph Ė a fair and fast, byzantine fault tolerant consensus algorithm. According to the founding Hashgraph team consisting of computer science and cybersecurity pioneers Dr. Leemon Baird and Mance Harmon, the hashgraph consensus method achieves the following notable feats:

Itís fast: 250,000+ transactions per second and limited only by a users bandwidth (Pre-Sharding)
Itís fair: mathematically proven fairness (via Consensus Time Stamping)
Itís secure: bank-grade security (Asynchronous Byzantine Fault Tolerant)
Why is Hashgraph superior to Blockchain?
[read the actual article to know more]
If hashgraph beats blockchain. Will bitcoin and other blockchain coin die?
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it bad for altcoin that BTC is dropping on: December 16, 2018, 08:37:35 PM
Bitcoin price is constantly dropping for the last several days. What effects are putting it on Altcoins ? Is it bad or good ?
the market situation for bitcoin is  all not good at, and once people saw bitcoin fall down then they will also sell their altcoins,  so the falling of bitcoin definitely impact the alt coin price in negative way
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CRYPTO MARKET SITUATION. on: December 16, 2018, 08:36:27 PM
Looking at the red market situation, what did you do and plan at the beginning of Q1 2019? Are you still sure the arrival of the Bull run? If so, you have the same expectations as me now. Hopefully the situation will change soon. Do not give up  Cool!! Thank you very much.
i think the red wave will continue ,i will HODL for many months until the green wave come
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2000 Ripple or 5000 Cardano? on: December 14, 2018, 02:12:22 PM
I want to give a friend a cryptocurrency for his birthday, but I casen't decide which one is better. I have 5000 cardano and 2000 ripple. Tell me that it is better to leave to keep?

better to leave ripple as it will rise in near future
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to protect your wallet from hackers on: December 14, 2018, 02:11:21 PM
This is for those who use wallets with cheap transaction fee, such as ethereum based wallets.
There are some who cannot yet afford to purchase a hardware wallet. On that note, i have a suggestion on how your wallet can be safe from hackers. I have always noticed wallets that get easily hacked are those that are subject to public view.
Try as much as possible to have a separate cold wallet address that you do not copy and paste the private key, and neither do you share the address with anyone. You can use it to store most of your valuable coins.
Even if you want to transfer any coin or token to an address belonging to another person, first transfer it to your public wallet before sending it out.
it is better to buy a hardware wallet and get relaxed

15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2019 is it the new beginning will come to crypto currencies? on: December 12, 2018, 01:47:10 PM
2019 seems to be a new hope for crypto, because some developments will probably occur that year, for example Ethereum will soon fork as a refinement and as a means to increase prices, do you all believe 2019 will be better for crypto currency?

i predict continous bleeding in the crypto market unless a new miracle comes
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who will be the new king on: December 12, 2018, 01:45:09 PM
Now the mainstream currency, BTC-ETH, has the upper hand, and they have the strength and technology, but the future is likely to be a new project to replace them more mature and more comprehensive. What do you think it would be?
No currency can replace Bitcoin, the new coin wants to appear, unless Bitcoin gives way to itself, otherwise it is so difficult . Even if the potential currency climbs to the peak, it can't shake the position of Bitcoin.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What If Nothing Change In 2019? on: December 10, 2018, 02:29:12 PM
2018 is not a profitable year for almost all Crypto enthusiasts. Though there's an increase in adoption of blockchain technology but almost all crypto assets have lost close to 90% of their all time high and there seems to be no light at the end of the tunnel. In some weeks now, we will say goodbye to 2018 and the hope of market recovery will now cling to 2019. Though am not trying to be pessimistic but what if nothing change in 2019, what if the bear market continues unabated, will it be the end or sign of the end for Cryptocurrency because I don't think many will still continue to retain their hope if nothing positive happens at least for the first quarter of 2019.
this is actually what will happen and will make the crypto market bleeds more and loose adoption
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lessons from crypto in 2018 on: December 10, 2018, 11:38:28 AM
What valuable lessons have you learnt from the crypto space in 2018 and how is it going to shape your involvement in the space going forward? Looking to your responses, hoping one or two persons learns a thing two from them.

the big lesson for me is capital diversification and not to be greedy when the market change green
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum price dump on: December 10, 2018, 11:37:21 AM

20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to invest or wait ? on: December 10, 2018, 11:36:14 AM

I have been part of this community for a while now. And i never got the chance to make any investments as i was short on money. But recently i got a little money and i wanted to invest but looking at the market as it is going down and down again, i have decided to learn from you guys and take into account the advice of you people.

What should i do.

Invest in right now,
Should wait,
or Should i just put my money in some other industry like Real estate ?

Need your opinion guys. What would you had done in a similar situation at this point of time ?
in my opinion i think you should invest but with caution. The market may recover in 2019, in my opinion. As for what crypto you should invest in, that's for you to figure out.
