161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Finally good news from Korea, no plans to ban crypto! on: January 31, 2018, 02:25:06 PM
Quote
South Korea's finance minister said the government has no plans to shut down cryptocurrency trading, welcome news for investors worried that authorities might go as far as China's tough action in blocking virtual coin platforms.

https://mobile.reuters.com/article/amp/idUSKBN1FK09J
This is a very good news to all the cryptocurrency universe, might caused the market to recover fast and to get back on track with this news.I hope south korea would allow their citizens to trade and mine freely with some small tax, that will change everything legalization and fully supported by the government.China on the other hand wont allot its citizens to get involved with cryptocurrencies because they are a communist country.
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: KYC of bounty hunters on: January 25, 2018, 04:56:13 PM
KYC doesnt need to be implemented in bounty hunters because we are just doing our job that is to promote the ICO here in forum,or in socialmedia sites,ICOs are morelikely the ones that needed this verification for each participants but the down side of KYC would be your privacy might be compromised, your indenfications might be sold to anyone, and worst it can be use to identity thefts.
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alts or Fiat? on: January 24, 2018, 11:26:18 AM
It depends in BTC's movement if it is going to drop i will choose USD over altcoin and then buyback on the dip, while in the otherhand when the BTC will go up i will stick to BTC,in most cases i am pulling my investment from alts temporarily so i could prevent any lose.
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto-currency legislation on: January 24, 2018, 11:23:25 AM
Poland plans to introduce crypto-currency legislation

The Polish government is going to regulate the digital currencies in accordance with the AML standards. The Council of Ministers adopted a bill on the regulation of Bitcoin and other crypto-currencies in accordance with legal norms for combating money laundering, tax evasion and use for financing terrorism. Poland defined the rules for the subjects of the cryptonian. The text of the draft law lists "compulsory institutions" that fall under its influence. So, this list includes exchangers and other intermediary enterprises supporting the digital currencies trading.
Who thinks anything about this?
What the heck, most of the countries will implement regulations about cryptocurrencies, this is very critical for our community because it could be the start of the end or it can be a start for a worldwide acceptance of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. The question is,are we ready to be taxed?this will remove our privacy and anonimity in each of our transactions  Undecided
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the investment strategy behind your portfolio in 2018? on: January 24, 2018, 11:17:38 AM
Hello guys, I'd like to discuss with you about the strategy for investing cryptocurrency in 2018,
if your friend came up to you with $100,000 that he's willing to lose in the crypto market, how would you advise him to invest and why?

Here's the strategy I'm currently adopted in my own portfolio, I diversify in the top 30 altcoins and invested proportionally to their market cap,
it's basically a market cap weighted portfolio, and by this portfolio, I aim to achieve a better performance than just Bitcoin (benchmark.)
If i would have that amount right now,i will split it to a 50% bitcoin 30% ethereum and 20% to trade with some shitcoins daily,it is depends on your trading style,i am scalper and my average gain is 10-17% daily.Ive been using this portfolio from the past 2years and i am sure most of you wont agree but this is how i play the game, also spare some BTC so you can buy alts when the market bleeds.
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to leave Altcoin in Exchange on: January 24, 2018, 11:14:36 AM
Hi,

I want to earn interest on my coins (BTC,ETH,LTC) therefore I prefer to leave these in Exchange for funding purpose, however I have No plan to sell or exchange with other coin in near future.

I always keep my withdrawal blocked by changing password every 5th day.

Is it 100% safe to keep crypto's in exchange like Bitfinex or others with withdrawal locked ?

No,exchanges isnt a wallet, you need to trade when you put your coins in any exchanges, and according to most of the exchanges you need to make trades or they will terminate you account. If you dont have plans to trade your coins it is better to get a hardwallet im using ledger nano s,cheapest but secured hardwallet today.
167  Other / Archival / Re: Are you worried? on: January 24, 2018, 11:12:09 AM
Worrying about the market will just give you headaches, try to go out when the time like this and to prevent panic selling.Logout from your computer and do something for you to forget your holdings,or you can uninstall blockfolio too.Market will always recover, you do not have to do stupid things or to do some panic sellings, for me this is the best time to buy cheap solid alts.
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to Buy? on: January 24, 2018, 11:08:36 AM
I think cryptos have just bottomed out for now. Probably is time to buy.Everyone seems to be shit scared.  Opinions?
You are right, this is the perfect time to buy alts when most of the people are scared to buy, market will recover soon and you will be glad that you bought from the bloodbaths.I always oppose the market from the past 6months and its very effective if you ask me.
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Bitcoin phone scams happening? on: January 24, 2018, 11:02:57 AM
Why someone in IRS would call you randomly?we are using cryptocurrencies for out anonimity and for our own privacy these is why i dont tell my friends that i am into cyptpcurrency, because you will never know when a great danger will come.Best thing to do is to ignore these calls,do not entertain them to give you a peace of mind you may want to change your phone number.
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SOUTH KOREA BACK IN THE GAME? 24.2% isn't too bad on: January 24, 2018, 10:57:42 AM
Am i reading this correctly and why not posted here before?

Or not as clear as it seems?

https://cointelegraph.com/news/s-korea-to-tax-crypto-exchanges-242-percent-in-line-with-existing-tax-policy

i guess now anon accounts are banned the individual will be taxed as income or cgt

looks like they are back in the game anyway

china next?

better than a blanket ban right ... or not?

Is this not a good thing i see many see it as a negative announcement?

But that's terrible news for all. Especially south Korean already announced to implement new bank system to synchronize all of the accounts that already created on the exchange site with Korean bank database. They are saying it's all about to give taxation in every act of exchange site and users.

There will be no more privacy if you are using centralized exchange site, let them all move to the real decentralized exchange site.
Thats what i am thinking,if most of the banks in korea will be implemented its new banking sysyem to the cryptocurrencies each transactions would be accessible to anyone in their government. There will be no privacy because each move will require you to pay taxes that are being recorded in your bank accounts.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The END is NEAR! on: January 24, 2018, 10:53:33 AM
There are so many options for Amazon. Would be nice to see them accept Bitcoin, but we are still a bit away. Cryptocurrency is just getting into a more popular phase, we have to be at least 5 years out of the way.
Bitcoin wont be a good option, the tx fee will suck all of people's money. You dont want to buy something worth $20 then you will pay a extra $80 with bitcoin?plus the tx confirmations will take a lot of time just to buy something? no unless bitcoin's lightning network will be implemented soon.
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When do you know its time to sell your altcoins? on: January 24, 2018, 10:44:38 AM
Using technical analysis will give you an idea when is the perfect time to dump these shitcoins.I never hold coins for a long time, the longest hold i had was for only 1week,holding these coins will give you a higher risk to lose than to get profits.I suggest do not hold a coin which you are not confident to its technology.
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IOTA - Thousands of Wallets Compromised and Funds Stolen on: January 24, 2018, 10:41:25 AM
Why wouldnt you guys put it in a safe place like a hardwallet?mine is fully secured but with this hack events surely i will dump IOTA for now.
Surely IOTA developers has lack of security precautions too, dumping this right now would be a nice move before it lose some value.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ripple Going To Reach 10,000$ By 2020? on: January 24, 2018, 10:20:40 AM
Is this a joke?are you kidding me?theres no way that XRP can reach that amount in just few years XRP isnt supported by most of the people here but why?Because its a centralized shitcoin by the bankers, they an easily manipulate its market price, and if the XRP dominates the cryptocurrencies most of the alts will be worthless in the future,XRP isnt a fiat currency that hides in a cryptocurrency.I personally do not support this centralized coin because it oppose the main aim of cryptocurrencies,to be completely decentralized.
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Seriously, who wants to be rich? - COMMUNITY FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO BE RICH on: January 24, 2018, 10:17:26 AM
In my own opinion, these communities are not healthy to the cryto community, for example a pump and dump groups are successfully making you a lot of money ,but what happened to the users who got baited and joined the hyped coin and lose a lot of money?if there are gainers there are loosers too.In the long run you will lose but how?simple you wont improve further because you are relying with these PND groups thus you are not learning and improving your trading skills.
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to get more profit? on: January 24, 2018, 10:12:59 AM
People always greed.
Yes, I am one of them.
Recently, i lost some of my bitcon because i want more instead of holding bitcoin. so i buy altcoin but not top 10 altcoin.
Would you like to share your experience?
Beside, i know that airdrop is good way to gain profit.
What do you think DeepOnion airdrop? It seems that they got a very good community.

I dont quite understand why you are asking it here, you should find a way to get more profits, try trading altcoins in short, mining has a decent profits monthly,or if you dont have enough money to start mining farms try bounty hunting surely it will give you a lot of profits without any investment and it only requires your time to post everyday.
177  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Getting porn sites to accept bitcoin on: January 09, 2018, 04:47:46 PM
