ONO was crafted by Ke Xu and her team as a way to combine the community building aspects of social networks and blockchain technology. At a time where user data privacy has been mishandled by certain large companies, ONO is designed to ensure the user has full control over their data.

ONO's community will have the option to exercise a vote that acts as a built-in control to preserve the value of ONOT, the ONO token.

ONOT holders will have the freedom to vote on whether the ONOT created is invest in developers that contribute to ONO apps, goes to content producers, or is destroyed to balance market prices.

The ONOT will be distributed to ONO users for small actions like logging in or trying a new app. Most of the ONOT will go to content producers.

ONO places a high value on exceptional content and have appointed special users called Super Partners to operate as moderators do in forums e. flagging bot accounts, hateful posts, or any content that damages the ONO community.

Super Partners will be elected each October and are paid 2% of the daily ONOT released from the blockchain. The remaining daily distribution is paid to content creators on the ONO network.

The Vision of BeyondBitcoin Hangout Series is to give communities a voice to speak about their favorite projects in the blockchain and disruptive tech space. But more than that we have always aimed to be community sourced and grass roots in a world where you have to pay to even be noticed within media. There are many tasks behind the scenes with coordinating initiatives, devising new conceptual designs for tools needing made and trying to support multiple communities. As Beyond Bitcoin and its allies grow so too will these tasks grow in number and size. However, these tasks do not even account for another kind of work that is often overlooked by those looking in from the outside--reading/responding to messages, coordinating to fix bugs, solving disputes between community members and the list goes on and on.

It is also inefficient for me to do everything on my own. I and my small band of helpers will not be able to forever shoulder the requirements of beyondbitcoin alone, so it only make sense to begin crowdsourcing work from qualified members of the community in areas where Beyondbit and WhaleShare tokens can help reward. That is nice that you can stick to a specific algo. I am not sure how else to spot winners. ICO members should be part of a ratings database so you can predict the likelihood of a winner earlier in the game

I use coincap.io. I thought it was more important for a coin to be liquid than to look at volumes, or market cap?

That low price makes it look more appealing to get EOS from an exchange versus the long ICO.

How is Bitcoin Jesus going to compete with Btc's merchant lead?

I do believe design can add to earn trust through a clear and elegant presentation of a project, but it can also be misleading.

All it takes is someone with bad intentions that has a lot of resources.

I think it is hard to be on the internet and have your work hidden so no one can see your track record. You should be able to evaluate old project members to guess at how new ICO project members will do.

I think all wallets should allow for the option of making their transactions anonymous. Some people I've talked to aren't comfortable with their balances being visible on the web.

I was looking for a thermal printer to use with an entropy device. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I am surprised trezor or mycelium doesn't make a thermal printer + entropy device for offline key generation. I know an entropy device can just be connected to an offline printer, but there are so many times where you need a paper wallet, but the ink runs out.

It would be interesting if the presale results determine whether the project starts or not.

I'd say take a 10% - 15% founder cut but make sure to outline milestones and how the funding will be budgeted.  It allows for the market to determine the value of the project and puts pressure on your team to satisfy the needs of the majority share / customers.

Will say that you need a coin for long term valelue (btc). 

Need a coin for anonymity (dash, monero, bytecoin, etc)

Need a coin for speedy day to day transaction (litecoin, dash , steem)

Need a coin for reputation / social media (steem -> steem power)

It would be nice to say one coin satisfies all these requirements.

I would like to see someone fork existing code for this.  I believe Steepshot or zappl is doing something similar using the steem blockchain.  Big issue is having to manage multiple reputation systems. 

I don't think there is any way to know until EOS gets out of benchmark mode and into full operations.  I think they claim to do 80000 transactions per second in parallel.
