61  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Most Crypto investors are Cowards on: July 08, 2018, 12:05:19 PM
The answer is just simple, we all are cowards  Smiley. Everyone will like to wake up one day and find out that Btc has reached 50,000. All these people are scared to invest hugely in bitcoin but want to become  Crypto millionaire and Billionaire. You ask them why they are scared and they are like crypto is volatile and so on. This is the time to set the record straight make people realize what they are into. If you are scared then there is no need for you to join this amazing fraternity Smiley.

Hi therer Huntler1993! So you see the bitcoin community as a fraternity. I think you see it like that because all of the members could benefit when the price is going up once more again and will experience drought when the price continues to fall. But as I think community and fraternity are two different group of people. What I see in a fraternity is that a member needs to do something commanded by the elders in order to become a member. In this bitcoin community, no one has forced us to buy some bitcoin, there are even people that are involved in bitcoin which didn't even bother to check its price every day. I cannot see bitcoin investors a coward, what I see in them are brave enough to invest in a technological change for the future.
62  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN is FUTURE !!! on: July 08, 2018, 10:18:04 AM

Need your opinions?

Hi there CoinFoxs! What all I can say is that the future of bitcoin is bright! It is the most advanced currency invented in this era and even though there are a bunch of oppositions that are preventing the success of bitcoin. Still, no one could stop the bitcoin from its objective as the best digital currency in the planet. It is really hard at first to elevate and encourage all the people in adopting bitcoin, but there is a strong community behind that is doing their best to promote bitcoin. Even though the current price is low, that will not hinder the bitcoin in spreading its wide usage and capability.
63  Economy / Speculation / Re: Did you buy bitcoin in December 2017? on: July 08, 2018, 08:26:50 AM
It is an undisputed fact that those are affected much by this sudden drop in bitcoin price are those who bought it in December last year when bitcoin was skyrocketing. I understand the emotional trauma you are going through. Nobody will be happy watching his investment losing value like that. I want to encourage you that the downfall of a man is not the end. In June 2017, nobody ever thought of bitcoin hitting $20k by December 2017 and that is the beauty of bitcoin. It takes only minutes for bitcoin price to either rise or fall. Never dump your coin out of fear. Let's keep our fingers  crossed and hope for the best. If you understand that Bitcoin is a long term investment, you wouldn't panic when the price falls within some short period of time. We will all laugh soon

Hi there Dacosta Osei-Tutu! I am add some bitcoins in my portfolio last December, but I have also manage to cash out some for gifts and even a pair of socks. I knew that there are lot of people that started their investment last December. Until now they can't see any potential return, but they feel devastated due to the sudden price drop. No one knows that the price will dramatically drop from that high. But if any one who have purchase in that particular month. What could I advise is that just hodl on it and wait for the time that the price will bump up again. It will be long enough but at least you did not suffer from extreme loss of investment.
64  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Huge potential earnings in bitcoin, still not interesting for others on: July 06, 2018, 06:10:53 AM
As i began my journey through the world of cryptocurrency, it comes to my mind why other people are just ignoring the opportunities that bitcoin gives..

Can you give me some reasons why it's not that interesting for others?

Hi there jurelmartin! Before I even start my journey of cryptocurrency I have also a bunch of lists that prevent me from investing in bitcoin. Until now when I talked to people, the same reasons I have heard every now and then. First, they thought that investing in bitcoin is a scam. You can't blame them, because there are indeed people that really use bitcoin to scam others. Second, intangible. It is hard to invest a money in the things that you could hardly see. And lastly, the potential benefit or ROI. To some project, the ROI could be accurately estimated, but in bitcoin, it is quite hard due to the volatile price.
65  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think that other coins move faster? on: July 06, 2018, 04:48:32 AM
Do you think that Bitcoin has become too slow to compete with the relatively quick alt coins out there? Is it realty competitive to have a slow community rather than a centralised decision making in development?

Hi there GrannyC! In terms of community, I think bitcoin community is fastest growing of them all. Subcommunity under alts is only established during ico, which tends other members to opt in giving comments and suggestion after the cois was distributed. What only remains are those coin holder and investors. In term of bitcoin, until now there is a continuously growing number of people that are engaged in bitcoin and other alts. I can't think a person is focusing only on alts.

In other words, does the community effect of decentralisation enough to counterbalance the difficult decision making processes?

In terms of bitcoin, the community is large enough to balance the decision makings. Thus, there are groups of people that are essential enough to do the decision for the greater good.
66  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin become an asset on: July 06, 2018, 03:49:56 AM
https://bitcoinmagazine.com/articles/south-korean-supreme-court-rules-bitcoin-asset/

I read about this news that in south korea bitcoin is legally become recognizeable as asset. I do think bitcoin is a currency and not an asset. I dont know whether this is good news or not for cryptocurrency. One thing i believe with legalization from goverment i do think more investors will come to invest in bitcoin, but i think if bitcoin become an asset its not as it suppose to because i believe bitcoin should be a currency which is currency is for transaction and asset is not for transaction.

Hi there indrakusumaindra! I have also read the same news and it gives confidence to those people who are new and starting to invest in cryptocurrencies. But it is much better if they will recognize bitcoin as a legal tender. By then it could be used to buy anything in Korea, either product or services.  But bitcoin being an asset is good enough to make the bitcoin mainstream in trading platforms. I hope that other countries will follow the steps done by the Koreans.
67  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: KFC has accepted bitcoin payment in Canada? WOW! on: July 05, 2018, 10:29:39 AM
My friend in Canada told me that bitcoin payment has been used in KFC. What does that mean?

Hi there abnxtofc! I have read this news two to three months ago.  It is good to hear that until now the experimental payment system of kfc is still doing fine. It could set a good example on how bitcoin could be an alternative in fiat or card payment. It is good to know that even though the price is bitcoin is so volatile, they still keep up implementing the system. I just hope that there are more other restaurants out there that will follow the steps of kfc.
68  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dealing with Bitcoin or Crypto haters. on: July 05, 2018, 06:59:32 AM
Hi there ICOBountyPrograms! Those three tips and techniques are great. I even remember using the method two to some of my friend that really hates bitcoin. It is quite effective due to the fact that, after they have given all their hatred and you did not fight in the talk, at the end you feel that you are the one who is correct and they turn out to feel that they are the villain. However, there is some time that people that are really caught on scammed lately is difficult to encourage again and rethink to them that not all of the transaction could end up in a scam. Do you have any method or technique that could help those people?

70  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 5 countries that banned bitcoin on: June 26, 2018, 09:06:16 AM
Hi there edsnow2017! Never thought that there are still countries that ban the utilization of bitcoin besides the good and vast benefit it brings. I think there is some country that is not listed there, some country even prevents to access this forum to protect the citizen from illegal activities bitcoin brings. On the other hand, I hope that those countries could see the positive effects of the technology.
71  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin goes to $5,900.... on: June 22, 2018, 05:51:31 PM
This is the second time Bitcoin will go to $5,900 this year. Now it is $6,140. Dream run over ??

I read, 80% of the coins being dumped now are from long term holders, they want OUT!

Hi there First77! Have you recently read or hear the #00000000000000000021e800c1e8df51b22c1588e5a624bea17e9faa34b2dc4a? If not so I think that is the reason why most of the people in the last two or three days have panicked and sell a huge amount of their possessions. Some say, the bitcoin system has been cracked by a quantum computer by a bunch of hackers, while other said that Satoshi could have been around and create something. While most of the people are afraid of the news, other see it possitively.  If you have seen that the sentiment of the people will about to sell, it is really better to sell ahead of time, why? so that you could buy when the price seems to go up again. It is a trading strategy.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How to convert the coins collected from the bounty, to eth? on: June 21, 2018, 03:17:04 PM
I already got my coins from bounty campaigns but i do not know what to do next. Please help me.

Hi there oyraaaaa! I think you need to know about trading. Some of the coins uses the eth wallets, you could use ether scan to know if you have acquired some coins. You can do two things about it. Either you sell the coins by sending it to another buyer wallet or you could send it to trading platforms. If the platform have inserted the coins in their circulation, you can send it to your trading platform account and sell it in exchange of bitcoin or etherium.
73  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does bitcoin need to improve? on: June 21, 2018, 02:48:25 PM
I can clearly see that there are other cryptocurrencies that are beginning to dethrone bitcoin, showing off there quick and secured transactions, though bitcoin continues to be the king. What does bitcoin need to improve state your opinions.

Hi there dupee419! Indeed there are a lot of cryptocurrencies that have overcome bitcoin in one more more way. One of them is the transaction speed, almost all of the new coins that are introduced have more faster transaction speed and faster confirmation compare to bitcoin. Thus, that is one of the may thing that I think could be further improve in the bitcoin system.
74  Economy / Speculation / Re: This price drop has occured before on: June 20, 2018, 05:06:51 PM
Hi there kryptqnick! That is an amazing chart, I could hardly see what are you pointing about. That same up and down occurs synchronously in the timeline you have specified. Some of the alts are even doing the same history and not just in bitcoin. I think alt coins price are dependent on the bitcoin swings too. I am pretty occupied this few weeks and never thought of checking the charts. I hope that chart could serve as a guide in bitcoin trading. But, I have set my goals and trade in a long-term wishing that the price will skyrocketed again on november or december.
75  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best exchange to get fiat? on: June 08, 2018, 04:01:46 PM
Hello everyone,

Do please share your experiences on best way to withdraw the money from the exchange nowadays?

Cheers!

Hi there Vlada69! Nice idea of creating that survey. I hope you gather enough answer to make the result concrete. In my experience, I have your both coinbase and cex.io, they are almost the same but the additional charges they impose is something that I am not quite happy especially they need to convert in fiat with an exchange rate lower than most of the banks. I usually prefer to check in first the convertion rate from fiat before I need to cash it out. In terms of localbitcoin, it could be much cheaper because some people is in a hurry and needed a cash even the current bitcoin fiat rate is lower. But, I have found it a quite riskier due to the fact that some people what it to be done in unfamiliar place. But all in all, almost all of the listed exchange is good. Hope it helps.
76  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can We Finally Call This the DEATH of Bitcoin?!? on: June 08, 2018, 02:30:02 PM
One day I will tell my grand kids about the time in 2017 when everyone except politicians were happy and it was a joy to work at any job because you had real money that actually could make you more real money. Time to find the next bubble...

Hi there cd74reg! On that day your grandkids could be more profitable than you if they will still invest in bitcoin by that time. Are you telling that bitcoin is already pop-up, because you are looking for the next bubble? I think you are missing something. Bitcoin is still profitable and yet no one could prove that it is a bubble. If it is a real bubble then it should not increase its price again to its peak. Experts even say that the bitcoin could reach and even surpasses all time high price attain last year. I can't force anyone to regain their loyalty to bitcoin, but I cannot blame them if one day they regret their decision of turning their head away from bitcoin.
77  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What service missing in cryptoworld? on: June 08, 2018, 01:59:20 PM
In crypto world we see that there is many crypto and many service too. What do you think what service is missing in the cryptoworld.

Hi there davidallen! In this crypto world, almost all of the infrastructure is established and functioning as they are. From wallet company, exchange and startups that are looking to score a good investment, all of this have used into the blockchain technology. What I think that are missing were the regulations and government go signals. It could be hard to operate a business if the feds will eventually hunt and seize your equipment because a new policy in that area was been inforced. I hope for a concrete win-win regulation that could enhance the activity of the cryptocurrency companies and be beneficial to the country and the community.
78  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin Die because of global Regulations? on: June 08, 2018, 06:51:49 AM
What is happening all over the world? Something whats soul purpose is to be decentralized will eventually be centralized?
How much do you think a global regulation on crypto will affect the overall market in this year?

Hi there ronypro! If you are asking will bitcoin die due to regulations, I don't think so. The regulation will hurt all of the company that is involved in bitcoin or cryptocurrencies. But regulations aim not to shut all down the establishment especially if will give a great contribution to the GPD of the country. What just being happened is that they fraudulent once will be tracked and close while the legitimate ones will remain. And by that, the cryptocurrency economy will be much greater because the confidant of the people in relation to cryptocurrencies will be leveraged. I assume that after the sweeping, bitcoin price will further increase its price.
79  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is this true that GOOGLE will ban the ICO and crypto related ads? on: June 08, 2018, 05:39:18 AM
I read an article about this please take a look

https://www.financemagnates.com/cryptocurrency/news/exclusive-google-quietly-purging-cryptocurrency-ads-content/

I'm not sure if this is true
what are your idea about this?

Hi there edsnowangel! It is true and Google has done it. You could visit their official statement here  https://support.google.com/adwordspolicy/answer/7648803?hl=en&ref_topic=29265 . That is a direct link to a google support page. The restriction is all about advertising cryptocurrencies content which includes even a simple trading advice, to wallet companies promoting their product, cryptocurrencies trading platforms and most of all the initial coin offerings. But I think there are still chance that the ad could pass thru and promote by google if that particular ad could be certified by google itself. I think this is a step of google to exclude their company as an accessory in promoting fraudulent sites or company.
80  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can you verify if a bitcoin is real? on: June 08, 2018, 02:49:11 AM
Hi there StaffsLebowski! So you are telling that someone has sent you a public key and want to verify if it contains bitcoin? I that is the case then you can use blockchain to search the given address. You could see where the balance of that public key, it could also show the transaction to and from that address. But you need the private key to retrieved that bitcoin. You will use any wallet address and add there the public and private address. By then you can move the bitcoin on that address.
