yes some of the ICO will burn their token when the sale doesn't reach hardcap so all unsold tokens will be burned. yes, in my opinion it's a good idea because it will add value to the coin and also minimize the use of the remaining coins from the ICO.

IEO is initial exchange offering. so the developer of some coin will sell their coin in some exchange. i think it's not a SCAM, because i think IEO is a good idea, with IEO we can buy coin from exchange platform and the future for this coin will be better because they have already done a partner with the exchange.

yeah i feel the same as you, people who invested their money into cryptocurrency when the price is high it's risky. but the rise and fall of cryptocurrency prices are common in investment. hust keep holding them for 5 or 10 years and you'll make profit from it

Well if there are a real project (With trustworthy Team) which is really willing to distirbute Their tokens! There are Many ways Without Doing ICO!

ICOs should just get funded from VCs and do an airdrop to community.

Most ico can be done open source on github for free.. the greed in creating all of these project is stifling growth. A lot of innovation come from free open source project from passionate developers.

Im 3 years in this field and strictly advice you do not invest in any ico at all.

yeah I agree with you that many ICOs are now SCAMMING their community after they get a lot of money through selling their coins. if you still want to buy ICO you should learn more about it and their community
