I have this mobo too.
To get into the bios I have to connect to onboard VGA.
And either VGA or PCI to get into windows, and it takes a few for the windows loading screen to come up, be patient. Basically when my GPU fans quit spinning is when Windows is about to come up onscreen.
This board is temperamental I still haven't mastered it.
When it's running I don't mess with it.

You should be able to mine ETH until May 2019 if using an OS other than Windows...
Does anyone else think that ETH going to POS will increase the price of other ETHash coins? My thought was that most everyone will have to stop mining ETH and switch to some other Ethash coin and that demand should increase it's value..
I'm far from an expert but it was a thought, although maybe flawed. What is your take?

Hi everyone, I'm here because for the first time I'm trying to mine with claymore 11.8. But unfortunately it crash on startup. i had put my ethereum wallet address on start.bat.
ethDcrminer64.exe -epool eu1.ethermine.org:4444 -ewal "my address" -epsw x
before crashing on the screen it says:
ETH 2 pool are specified Main ethereum pool is eu1.ethermine.org:4444 DCR: 0 Pool is specified
my system is:
z270gt6 intel celeron g3930 4gb ram ssd120 gb MSI gtx 1060 6gb OC
I already changed the paging file at 36000MB
updated Motherboard bios
downloaded and set MSI afterburner with:
POWER LIMIT: 65% temp limit 85degrees not connected to power limit CORE CLOCK 0 MEMORY CLOCK 480 FAN SPEED AUTO
any suggestion is welcome :-)
thank you in advance!!!!

Works, thank u very much.! I have follow the guide , but nothing.. When run the miner it just closes. I am so affraid. On AMD Work fine, but Nvidia absolutely not. any help? Are you using this setting? from the readme.txt: -platform selects GPUs manufacturer. 1 - use AMD GPUs only. 2 - use NVIDIA GPUs only. 3 - use both AMD and NVIDIA GPUs. Default value is "3".

hello my friends, can u say me why 11.8 don't work in windows 10 i do click in executable and this don't start and don't happend nothing, ... can u say me what is the problem please?.... sorry for my bad english. thank u very much.
You will need to run it from a batch file, unless all of the needed info is in your config.txt. There is a minimum amount of info needed to execute the program; ie. a pool address, a mining address, etc.

Has anyone ever noticed that when mining the devfee the latency to the "same pool" is half. For instance I was mining CLO on an older version (10.6) to my buddies pool and when mining normally my latency for share accepted was like 30ms but when the devfee kicked in, the latency to the same pool was 15ms.. Is this something built in by Claymore to find more blocks?
Maybe it's just me..

Good scam all blocks with devfee in 2miners clo solo pool..
What are you saying?

0 miners lol Nobody is going to mine solo. That's what a community is for; he/she was simply asking for feedback - no need to shut him down like that. On the other hand, it would be nice to see at least 1 miner (the poster perhaps?) on there I personally mined some RVN for a couple days a few months ago, but now; the difficulty is crazy. I was just trying to direct some miners to try out my buddies pool.

I started mining altcoins in June of 2017 with a couple of gpus and have worked my way up to about 25 gpus and 700 Mh/s on Ethash. (Nothing major) I basically mined Ethash coins and have been hodling and exchanging for other promising looking coins.
My power bill increased by $250-$300 per month x 6 months. My mining rigs had to have cost me between $8K-$10K all said and done. I'm hodling some ETC, EXP, XLM, XRP, UBIQ, PIRL, ELLA, DBIX, RVN and some shit coins.
Right now I'm having anxiety trying to get my taxes "won", nobody (CPA's) around here have any clue regarding crypto and taxes.. I'm going to have to file an extension until I find someone to complete my taxes; normally I would figure this out on my own but I need to take advantage of every opportunity so that I'm better prepared next year.
So any advice or experience you guys can share would be greatly appreciated. If you know someone experienced in the Seattle area that would be cool too.
Thanks in advance.

I need a little help guys. I have one AMD card (will be adding more) to my 7 card Nidvia rig. I only want to use Claymore for the AMD card. This is my bat file, but it's still running all the cards. Can someone tell me what I need to do to tweak it?
setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0 setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
-di 0
EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool us1.ethermine.org:14444 -ewal 0xfe943a6dabf68375754d07044812f76a0dd01d64 -epsw x
Insert -di 0 into config.txt Seems to have done it. Thanks again. Yeah, it's still reading all cards. I don't get it. Couldn't you add this to single out AMD cards? "-platform 1"

Hello,
my question is, If I have holded ETC on MEW, and sold them after block 5500000 than will I get CLO?
best regards
When was I searching for info about CLO, I came across a post where someone had created a webpage that runs a script(?) that searches the snapshot for your ETC address. http://94.130.78.238/clo-check/index.phpJust enter your ETC address and it will tell you if you will receive CLO from the snapshot. I wish I could give someone credit for this, but I don't recall where I came across it. EDIT Found it on Github: https://github.com/EthereumCommonwealth/Roadmap/issues/42svenpohl commented a day ago "I wrote a simple PHP-checker using the snapshot_0001.txt file: http://94.130.78.238/clo-check/(currently online, I will not logging any addresses, just the pure script - otherwise please use the snippet from GitHub) You can check if your ETC-address is included in the snapshot-file. The (very simple but working) PHP-snippet: https://gist.github.com/svenpohl/325ebad3ec400ac25bec8381ddb7558dHope it is useful"

I had many an issue with this board going from a 8X AMD rig to a 12X rig.
** If you want to access BIOS; be sure you are plugged into the onboard graphics. ** Double check riser USB cables; aftermarket longer ones wouldn't work. ** If you can't boot up with 1 GPU plugged into the PCIE_16x slot to install windows; install using on-board graphics, then switch to GPU after you are done changing settings in BIOS.
This is just to name a few..
I still have the issue of no workign start menu or search block even after installing all the latest OS and drivers.

I've had a similar issue several times and mine were due to the power supplies. I would have to unplug them and plug them back in. The same would happen with my server power supplies. Sometimes it powers them, and other times it would not power one or two fully.

Any documentation available to help small pools upgrade from the old fork running Parity to the new fork running (whatever)?

If you are hodling a good coin when and how do you sell?
Let's take XRP for example:
It's climbing pretty good now, but you have to take into account the BTC or ETH you spent to buy it.. what would be it's current value as well? Are you really in profit?
When it climbs vs the USD how do you sell it for USD? and later reinvest in BTC if BTC drops..
Do you wait for the best BTC/XRP ratio to sell?
This stuff can very confusing and frustrating to figure out..

|
I like it so far very simple.
How can I add my RigID to the custom pool tab entry?

Thanks.
Do you guys use Tether (USDT) to convert to USD or convert to BTC then convert BTC to USD on Coinbase?
