141  Other / Meta / Re: Merit is so unfair on: March 23, 2018, 05:32:18 AM
Isn't it so unfair for the people who is new here? That will be struggling making such as good quality post so they could be given a merit by someone. I know all of you is having a hard time thinking what are you going to post such as good quality.

It is really hard to have a merit it is because as far as I know:
People are selfish. Even though you post a really good quality post still there is a people who won't give you a merit.
Some are alone. Like me, I don't really have much friend who would give me a free merit. I know that it is easy to have a merit with a friend that have an account of bitcointalk.

My question is. Why still need merit? We are still struggling to rank because of the merit.

It seems to be like cost cutting in "COMPANY SAYING" just to be like that, I think they can strict to regulate the Rank Higher for the purpose of minimizing for any coins distribution when they applying for different Bounty campaign that's only my own perception. that's why merit has limited and selected elite to worthy person. so we'll just wait guys if they are willing to give us the merit  and we received it in a heartily accepting.
142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin owner die. It means bitcoin also lost forever? on: March 23, 2018, 03:03:11 AM
I just got this question in my mind. What will happen if no one knows about the pasword of his/her acount will it posibly deduct to the main supply of bitcoin? Example bitcoin was 21million supply and one man got 1 million bitcoin he was holding and suddenly he died no one can open his wallet is it posible that the remaining 20 million bitcoin forever?

Bitcoin is build for all the people who belong in this world this is functional using new generation high technology and my perception is this BITCOIN back up for all new creation and discovered gadget to serve better for us for upgrading technology so digital currency is one of the new creation of Bitcoin serving to all people without no hassle. let say 1 million BITCOIN lose from the person suddenly death, this is only minimal many bitcoin circulation in this world and remember until now no one can IDENTIFY who's nakamoto's in real life. So, there's possibility to make additional bitcoin without prior noticed to public because it is unidentified person.
143  Economy / Economics / Re: How many people in the world know about bitcoin? on: March 23, 2018, 12:50:14 AM

144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you support the Use of Bitcoin as a National Currency? on: March 22, 2018, 06:49:12 AM
While it is good news for Bitcoin users/hodlers that countries allow the use of Bitcoin as a means of transactions within their border, what will be your position if a country decides to take a step further by using Bitcoin as its national currency?

I 100% support for Bitcoin as a national currency because we are now  in a new technology its time to go with the flow of new technology we all know that this kind of transaction is much better than before. CONVENIENT no HASSLE and Faster than the current uses of our currency. that's reality.
145  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as your main income? on: March 22, 2018, 05:53:39 AM
Bitcoin is a currency. Bitcoin is a solution to many problems. Bitcoin is bringing questions and new problems to this world.
Some people find this as a ride to boost your income, not specifically Bitcoin but also the whole crypto market.
I think it's a great thing! But what are you actually looking for? Bitcoin itself (the currency) might not be your solution.
If you want to "conquer" the world, you can't do it with Bitcoin. Like you can't conquer the world with the dollar itself.
You need to focus the technology. The blockchain along with it, bringing a new economy generation with freedom and decentralization.
It's something that should be written a new bible about in my opinion. Before you learn Bitcoin, learn economy. Once you master this skill, own Bitcoin as one of your cards.

I would like to hear some of your opinions and hear some smart words because I believe people think investing Bitcoin will make their life done financially but I honestly think it's not true.

for me as of now because I'm a new in crypto world, Bitcoin is only my alternative source of income because of a lack of fund to buy bitcoin but someday I'd like the one who become a rich man because of bitcoin.
146  Economy / Economics / Re: The best investment you ever made? on: March 21, 2018, 07:26:40 AM

All Investor of BTC are now seeking an alternative option to join to other investment because all their BYC stock are stay in their wallet, and other has choose to BUY and HOLD that's PRICE VALUE continually go down.

149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin digital gold? on: March 20, 2018, 04:49:31 AM
The billionaire venture capitalist is doubling down on BTC, likening the digital coin to gold’s online equal.

Thiel touts the No. 1 cryptocurrency for its size and its ability to compete with gold as a safe haven, saying at the Economic Club of New York:

“I would be long bitcoin, and neutral to skeptical of just about everything else at this point with a few possible exceptions. There will be one online equivalent to gold, and the one you’d bet on would be the biggest,” said Thiel.

But with the exception of a few digital coins, Thiel remains neutral on the rest of the cryptocurrency pack. He didn’t dismiss the possibility that bitcoin could be surpassed by Ethereum or other altcoins that prey on the leading cryptocurrency’s weaknesses, but bitcoin’s strength is in its size.

Bitcoin controls more than 40% of cryptocurrency market cap compared to almost one-fifth for Ethereum, as per Coin Market Cap data cited in CNBC.

I think that is the exact definition of BITCOIN in real position of Ctypto currency itself known to be DIGITAL CURRENCY GOLD because  of the image they are using is color gold but it is tangible. so my perception is DIGITAL CURRENCY GOLD in this new generation.
150  Economy / Economics / Re: Which one is good, trading or investing? on: March 19, 2018, 08:53:54 AM

151  Economy / Economics / Re: Would bitcoin help teach kids about saving? on: March 16, 2018, 03:22:21 PM
So I have 2 cousins. One of them doesn't save and is a huge spender while the other is a saver and spends only once a year. So would bitcoin be a good way to teach them about saving? Since, mining bitcoin is the only way to make alot of bitcoin, I would use a alt wallet to show them what happens if you spend and don't save. What do you think?

NO it's not, Teaching for bitcoin is only for adult, the KIDS must be focus their basic learning for ACADEMIC it's not time to apply BITCOIN learning while studying, because if they are aware and experienced what the good benefits from bitcoin I'm sure this is the start for struggle always destructing for learning. So, Bitcoin is not yet applicable for KIDS.
152  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the advantages of having Bitcoin? on: March 16, 2018, 08:55:47 AM
The only thing I know about Bitcoin is that it is a virtual 'money' but what are the other use of it? What are your advantages for having a bitcoin?  Roll Eyes

Bitcoin have many different uses it depends upon  your country where you belong, most of them are use for transferring money in peer to peer transaction the other way is to pay some other bills payment, paying food buy some goods and transportation but it depends upon also where you belong. but here in the Philippines Bitcoin is only use for TRADING and INVESTMENT using our reliable COINS.PH wallet provider to do some investment, because until now government  doesn't approved of BITCOIN so it is not applicable for any transaction here in the Philippines.
153  Economy / Economics / Re: Working smart vs working hard (an ultimate guide) on: March 16, 2018, 07:23:30 AM
Many people say that you should work hard if you want to succeed in life and rise to riches. I'd rather say that working hard will only make your boss richer, not yourself. On the other hand, there is an age-old adage which says that you should be working smarter, not harder. But working smarter is a vague idea, and I'm interested to hear what people have to say on this topic. As far as I'm concerned, I think that working smart comes down to creating environment where you will have more chances to meet Lady Luck smiling at you, where you will be able to hit a lucky strike because luck plays an ever-important role in our lives. For example, if you want to find a date to have a romantic relationship with or you are looking for a one-night stand only, you will go to a beach or a bar since your chances are higher there, right? The same approach seems to be applicable to work as well. In other words, stick around the places where your chances of success are the highest.

So share your opinions here, guys. What is your practical take on working smart?

Below I will be posting replies which I consider most relevant, revealing and insightful on the topic discussed.

...

You have a point man. Actually I have been hearing this sort of argument even when I was still a child. My father will always tell us to work smart, and make money out of money. And when I grow up, I did work hard, but I later realized that I don't want to be worker that long. I need something to help me became financial stable in the future. So I decided to quit my job, put my offline business. Although I still need to wake up early and oversee everything, I did enjoy what I'm doing and the best thing, I'm the boss. LOL. But there's some kind of element in luck as well. I don't know but I felt that I'm just lucky because suddenly I gain financial freedom and then when I discovered bitcoin, it give me another leeway, more funds for me to channel to my business. So I say that you have to make the right decision + element of luck = success in your life. You have to be in the right place at the right time.

...

Even when we have heard several talks about working smart, but a lot of people are still work hard thinking that someone will have to teach them to work smart or they are thinking they are working smart. Quite a number of times, I am always taken aback when I begin to imagine what people spend their time on to earn money, struggle, use their strength but nothing to show for it while they are left with no other option than to believe in miracles in other to come out of penury. However, working smart is not something that falls on you or easy to come by, rather its a conscious effort to break away from the shackles of poverty with constant research and education, you are sure to work smart and be financially independent.

What do you mean by working smarter?

I will try to explain the difference between working hard and working smart using an example from software development. Let's assume you have a large set of data which you should sort (arrange elements of the dataset in a certain order). You can take a naive approach and use a bubble sort algorithm which is devastatingly slow. Or you can use something like the quicksort algo which is extremely fast. In the end you will get the same result but times spent will be strikingly different. Now you can try to apply this example to real life.

I don't think that relying on luck is smart. It is truly risky. I think that smart work is rather about thorough development of the ideas, high level of rational success predictability, not luck attraction.

I see your point and I don't particularly disagree with it. But I didn't mean you should rely on or hope for luck alone. You can continue to work hard for your boss as always and still be looking for an opportunity or chance to change your life dramatically to the better. Let's loosely call that working wise. Basically, all I wanted to say was to emphasize that you shouldn't discard or write off the importance of luck completely. Ignoring a stroke of luck when it happens all of a sudden against all odds would be the most foolish idea that you will likely regret for the rest of your life. In this manner, it makes sense to work toward increasing your chances of meeting Lady Fortune one day. For example, if you want to be romantically involved with someone, it means visiting places where your chances of starting a romantic acquaintance are the highest.

I also think you are wrong when you talk about luck. Because your boss (and those of very large companies) are perfectly aware that they are in such position thanks to their luck. So they tend to close their network, to make golden paths that lead to domination... and are completely unaccessible for anyone out of their private "leading sphere".

Frankly, I don't see where I'm wrong here when I mention luck and that you should not only take it into account as a possibility and be prepared to take advantage of it when it pops up, but in fact act toward increasing your chances of encountering it. If you mean that your boss is somehow depriving you of any chance of meeting luck in your life, I think this is simply impossible because it goes against the nature of luck. In other words, luck is something which is not supposed to happen but still happens, and whatever you or they do to close the doors to it, luck will overcome all the roadblocks in the end because it is in its very nature.

I agree that you will need both. Earning money in this world is easy once you have a good network of contacts and good capital, but at the beginning it's a nightmare.

Once we reach a certain point we can move towards passive income and work less, when we have a great amount of capital, and spend more time with family, travel and things like that. It all depends on what you want to do. If we worked hard and smart enough in some years we won't need to work anymore, you will then decide if you want to work for fun or do something else.

I know that the idea of working for fun sounds like crazy for a lot of people, but if you like what you do, then it's not so crazy.

No, it doesn't sound like crazy. Actually, you came up with an idea of a passive income, which I haven't yet seen coming up in this thread, well, not in the part that I was able to push through yet. If anything, working smart can be defined as an activity directed towards building more sources of passive income. That's an interesting idea anyway. It seems like this is the ultimate goal of working smart, that is doing more with less until you don't need to do anything in the end. And if you are a smart guy, you won't stop there, so I emphatically agree with your attitude and point of view.

That's very technical question between the TWO Choices Because "working smart" is accompanied by working hard like for example let say you are very smart in school that's because of your effort which is "study work hard" right" that's why you become a smart person. then  the one is "working hard" that's also doesn't  fulfilled your dreams if you do not use your initiative being a smart person.

form me that's an equal guide to become success in life.

154  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Without Bitcoin, Life Will Be Boring! on: March 15, 2018, 04:06:36 PM
I was thinking if bitcoin will ban from every country if bitcoin will vanish one day then what will happen? I got my Answer, Without Bitcoin, my life will be so boring! Now, I spend almost 7 to 8 hours behind bitcoin and bitcointalk, I love it, I enjoy my time. But if bitcoin dies! I can't imagine  Embarrassed

What will happen to you if bitcoin will die  Cry

(Long Life Bitcoin, We will go to the mars again very soon)

You idiot. You better go to Mars.

First of all, banning of Bitcoin is futile attempt to erase its existence. There are a lot of illegal things that are still available in underground websites. In the case of Bitcoin, in China wherein it is being banned, illegal transactions  are continuous;

and about of point about being bored, a lot of alts was still their. You are not required to be loyal on Bitcoin if you are saying that "it will be banned". Explore the crypto world, don't just be contented on what you know today.
155  Economy / Economics / Re: If you achieve your target in crypto field then what you are going to do next? on: March 15, 2018, 02:49:23 PM
in my opinion is it will convert to half of money and another half again reinvest. what is your opinion and let rock together with my topic.?

Well, I'm very thankful first for all the blessings that I achieved if ever, but no one knows when I wake up in the morning in front of sunset there has a good news that's makes me happy  regarding my investment in crypto that it could generate income in 200 times double from my capital. so that's very good! If ever all that dreams become true I'll make sure that I would make a significant thing to take care my wealth for the future of my family.

Of course continuously invest in crypto like bitcoin while it is dominated throughout the world.

156  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is Bitcoin die next years ??? on: March 15, 2018, 01:53:33 PM
Have many new plaftom with advanced technology than Bitcoin. Faster, cheaper, and have many application. I think Bitcoin will die next years !!! Huh Huh

We can not conclude as of now the prediction for bitcoin next year  because the globe is round like a ball that's the situation of bitcoin as of the moment there's sometimes that the price value become lively  it will going price high but after the a few months it will go back to lower price value again. so, no exact sign to be the bitcoin become die next year. so we will just go with the flow of bitcoin.
157  Economy / Economics / Re: why do people agree to pay taxes? on: March 14, 2018, 08:45:32 AM
why is it ok for a group of people calling themselves the government to force everyone to buy their services?
if enough armed people refused to pay and told the government to go fuck itself there is nothing they could do.

For me for pay taxes for every transaction for the government I think it's much better because this is not an illegal source of income it will benefits  for all the people around through giving a good services good security measures have enough fund for HEALTHCARE and giving the good school  facilities for all children and
and enough fund for pension of all thunder. That's Why pay taxes are necessary, try to search some other big country they do not released their on goods or items without deductible taxes.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Every cryptocurrency price is going down.... on: March 14, 2018, 06:34:51 AM
I saw in cryptocurrency market every coin value going down, let's talk something now about future cryptocurrency.

That's very true because I have some different little token in my myether wallet has almost going to lose of value I don't know what's happening to the all crypto currency why it should have going down the price  together. many people has a question regarding to the stability of Crypto Currency if it will sustained at the end. in case if it will dis appear how could we recovered of our many token especially to our capital investment.
159  Economy / Economics / Re: The lack of financial education on: March 13, 2018, 03:59:32 AM
The lack of financial education in general is a worrying problem. We teach students about literature, maths, science, ... and we tell them that those are the things they need to know in life. Yet usually, the largest single expense they will have on their lives is a house, and that normally comes with a mortgage. Yet, only a few schools will tell them what should they be expecting, the risks and the consequences of such a contract.

Bitcoin and alts is another case in which people are carefully kept in ignorance by the governments and lobbies.

What can we do to make more people interested in economy and finance and to better educate the youth so that they don´t get ripped-off?

for the true to life story in life money is a primary problem for the poor people so that many of them has uneducated person all of those kinds of financial education problem was included to this situation, that's there was bitcoin to survive the people who will have in poverty line for the better and towards the good living in life.
160  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do banks think about bitcoin? on: March 13, 2018, 03:04:11 AM
In a country still very much in favor of paying more, such as Germany, its central bank, the Bundesbank, has been very worried about the arrival of bitcoins as well as other virtual currencies.

Bitcoin here in the Philippines is much better to have fund from taxes, but they don't know how to regulate it they don't know how to make a legal option or to make a good regulation for good security for every user so that until now Central Bank here in the Philippines is not accepting BITCOIN for being LEGAL.
