When i try using an endpoint address( https://btct.co/csv/portfolio?key=[API key]) with the API key i was given, i only receive "Ticker,Quantity,"Last Change". I don't receive any personal portfolio information. Am i doing something wrong? |

I could be that Namecoin has 7 million coins in circulation and Bitcoin has 12 million so the price surge was probably overdue. Namecoin can also be mined simultaneously with Bitcoin while using the same equipment and power. I created a subbreddit called r/CryptoMarkets for discussing altcoin trading and cyrpto denominated securities. |

If my memory serves me right, wasn't their a sum of 8000 BTC donations accumulated to go towards changing the website?

And how are they designated as colored? I thought the BTC protocol had to be changed.

wouldn't all the miners have to reach a 51% consensus to change the code and issue out colored coins for the the stock?

I decided to allocate a little less than a third of my BTC to invest in BTC equities. I spread my risk across BTCT, BitFunder, Havelock, and CoinBr. BTCT got shut down and i took a huge hit there. MPEx was hacked recently and they say all the funds are safe so we'll see. I certainly don't have as much peace of mind keeping funds there. Then the Active Mining sell off happened. My positions have also been depreciated due to BTC deflation. Is it a fools errand to be doing this? Should i just cut my losses and consider my BTC as shares of the Bitcoin corporation with a current market cap of 1 billion?
Should i wait until colored coins becomes real? If colored coins ever does happen, how would it address exchange problems like BTCT shutting down or CoinBr being hacked? My rudimentary understanding is that a colored coins could be stored on self hosted wallet like regular BTC but without the regular fungibility. Is this true? If so, all problems should be solved except for the deflation problem. If a BTC is reclassified as a colored coin, would it contribute to more deflation because of a smaller supply of regular BTC?

I've heard they can fix address issues such as BTC stock exchanges being shutdown.

and google authenticator doesnt even work - locked me out of my own account
Same here. Maybe i can just make another WeExchange account along with another BitFunder account(to link up) and trasfer my stocks to the new BitFunder account so i can have a way out for my money. |

I tried contacting them by email and i have received no response. The phone number they give out has a missing digit at the end. I troubleshooted all 10 possible characters from 1,2,3...0 and none worked.

I understand BTCT was registered in Belize but opereated out of Oregan. Does anyone know this information for the other exchanges?
