Anything with fast confirmation times, such as XPY.
3  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Official Money Lost in Mt. GOX Thread on: February 25, 2014, 05:32:33 PM
Around $250 USD with a VERY OLD withdrawal request that was never fulfilled. I forgot it was in there until the recent news. I think the last time I actually deposited anything at Gox was when they used Paypal for cash withdrawals.
4  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mt. Gox Announcement - Extension of Reduced Trade Fees on: July 15, 2011, 05:56:21 AM
What happens August 9? I forget what the fees were before.

I think they were .65%

Yea, a portable compressor works great. I use an inline water separator with a long-tipped air gun to get in and under heatsinks, etc.

I'm getting the feeling that those x1 slots are being disabled when your 16x slots are populated. I've seen other Gigabytes have this same issue along with one of my own Gigabyte boards.
10  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Shipping Mining Parts on: June 05, 2011, 09:48:06 PM
2nd won't count. It was shipped on the 3rd, minus weekend (4th/5th), in transit on 6th and delivered on 7th would be 3 days.. Don't trust UPS estimation, their logistics suck.
11  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Shipping Mining Parts on: June 05, 2011, 09:27:10 PM
When was it shipped? Order date doesn't matter. If Newegg shipped on Friday, you should get it by 7th or 8th depending on where you live and what warehouse it was shipped from. Mine usually get to my house a day before the UPS estimation if it's shipped from the same coast.
12  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Best GPU for price on: June 01, 2011, 08:21:14 PM
From another thread i saw earlier :

I now have my 5830 running at 985Mhz, 307Mh/s, 50% fan speed, 70C temp

at ~$100 that's really good bang

300Mhz. I now have the card running at 60C in the basement.

@ Mechanizm :

I'm about to receive 2 Saphire 5830's in the mail in the next couple of days.
Can you give your settings to achieve that 300 MH/s?

No problem..

965 / 300 @ stock voltage (on Afterburner)
Phoenix Rising 1.3 (phatk, aggression=12)

PM if you need more info.

5830 is a good option if you can't get a 5850. My Sapphire 5830's use about 5-10 watts less than my Sapphire 5850's, so not sure why everyone mentions a 5830 uses more power than a 5850. Perhaps a review comparing different brands or something. Anyway, for $100 and 300 Gh/s on stock vcore, pretty good deal.
