1  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [WTB] Any product from any e-shop in the world through PlazaCoin.com on: November 02, 2013, 08:15:37 PM
First, I have no affiliations whatsoever with Plazacoin and have plenty of good and bad to say about it, but first I'll just say my experience.
I've been looking for a way to get bitcoins instantly and just an hour ago I found plazacoin that in a nutshell hooks up buyers and sellers to purchase items from websites that don't accept bitcoin.
Buyer A wants to get something from Amazon with Bitcoin, Seller A buys item for him, sends it and in return gets bitcoins.
It's a neat little idea to get small amounts of Bitcoin and works really fast for digital transactions such as Steam and regular speed for Amazon since you would want to wait for your item before sending the coin.
I bought $8 worth of bitcoin through the site for a donation site which was hosted by the owner which means s/he got nothing for the sale.
The interface was a bit confusing, but I think that's because the owner is not a native English speaker as I had to have the confirmation email sent to the transaction box (the place where you work out the details) so s/he knew that I had paid the money. Pretty much emailing the receipt is fine.
After about 5 minutes of sending the money I had a confirmation email from the charities and then an hour later I had my bitcoins in my account. I then sent them to my personal wallet and we're good to go.
I even made about .30 due to the price change of bitcoin.
So I enjoyed it, but there are some critiques I do have.
English must be perfect when dealing with the site. It raises trustworthiness and anything dealing with money needs to be spot on.
It needs more digital security.
I think only digital items should be sold at first until a review system is put into place.
Keep things below $25 just in case.
I'll be using this in the future for sure. Anything that gets me bitcoins in under an hour is worth it. It has room for growth.
2  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Was there an adult video bitcoin service before? on: November 02, 2013, 06:20:57 PM
I find it funny that you can't find a post online about some adult pay service question that doesn't include somebody saying "people pay for blank". Yes, people pay for it, people pay for video games as well, people don't like viruses (albeit some porn sites do have them) and people make enough money where $30 a month is pennies and not a full day's pay.

I could have sworn that there was a service offered before to buy porn accounts with bitcoin, but I haven't seen it in a while. Does anyone know what happened to it?
4  Other / Beginners & Help / Do things sell cheaper or the same for bitcoin? on: November 01, 2013, 12:30:43 AM
In your opinion, can you get things cheaper with bitcoin, are they more expensive or about the same? I hate giving fees to eBay so I would make my items cheaper because then I get more money and they get the item cheaper.
5  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to not get screwed using escrow? on: October 29, 2013, 03:22:30 AM
So pretty much cover my end so I can win the escrow battle if it comes to that. I suppose so. If I present the tracking number and it says successfully delivered with proof I sent it there's not much else I can do.

How often do these things happen? Has it ever happened to you?

Hey all,

need some help.

I plan on selling some expensive phones using bitcoin because I don't want ebay/paypal gobbling up 20% of my profit when I know plenty of people will pay marketprice for these phones.

My question is, if I use escrow, how can I prevent people from deposting 3-4 bitcoins in the escrow account, me shipping the item. Once it arrives, them saying they never got it and then to just open a dispute. Worst case scenario for them, they pay for the phone, best case scenario, free phone.

Is there something I'm missing here?
