Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Many big powers agains crypto

This is most likely just a rumor and hope it will never happen, because Youtube up to now has a pretty good educational objective on crypto and I don't think there is a conflict that impacts on YouTube, it is possible that channels or videos that contain elements of fraud so its not like Youtube fighting to crypto but fight its fraud content.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook Loses Data for 267 Million Users, Calls Libra Security Into Question
|

Anything which is in under control of someone has the security breach risks because they own the entire control and if some hacker find a way to break that security shield then everything will be gone that is why centralized projects will not make better future.Facebook itself selling data so they won't consider this as breach only loss to them.
And I think this can also happen to the blockchain, do you think that nobody made a blockchain system, however there must be someone behind the control of the blockchain ? Even so far we still not see any proof that blockchain can be hacked, only some exchanges right ? But still, its still possible that blockchain will be in breach someday.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin on 3rd January?

Looks like it's normal to me today, maybe it's just the work of a few people who hope like that, they make it seem like there will be a certain event that happens on a certain date even though there is nothing special. Even if something like this works, that will be just a temporary short rise.

Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin becoming a safehaven currency in Argentina
|
on: December 23, 2019, 03:55:35 PM

I don't know what is wrong with these Latin American countries. They elect socialists to power and they indulge in all sort of freebie distribution and destroy the economy. Look at the case in Venezuela. Most of the issues can be resolved, if the subsidy on gasoline is removed and the prices are brought closer to the international rates. But the government doesn't want to do that.
No, not like that. I think this can happen in any country, where as long as the people can be tricked and enticed with the "instant economy" the prospective leaders will surely get it. Even more ironic is, when things have gotten very bad, the leaders will not admit their mistakes before and instead look for scapegoats. Prefer leaders who have the principle to protect the country's economy by relying on what they do have.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Price pressure of exchanges
|
on: December 23, 2019, 03:31:03 PM
|
My point is: It is way (probably multiple times?) easier for the exchanges to create fake BTC liquidity. Because of this their price pressure/manipulation capability is magnitudes higher on pushing BTC price down than on push it up.
Thanks for reading this far, what do you think?
PS: "You" stands here as a placeholder for the average user, not "us".
My only question is, how they create any fake Crypto and FIAT Balance, even we know that we don't know the exchange system of their way to create users wallet but i think that was very impossible way to just create and give any amount of balance. Let say they just create fake balance just to make some users happy with their balance, and then some people trying to figured it out by withdrawing it. How to keep users to trust them. Even FIAT itself in this case it is still in the Blockchain's scope, so its impossible just to create wallet and filled it with any amount of balance we want.

Economy / Economics / Re: Exchanges are rebelling against constant hard forks
|
on: December 21, 2019, 11:55:16 PM
|
That's why I think coins that don't change much (bitcoin, doge) will end up being the winners.
Well, sometimes changes are needed (and of course, this is debatable). I think a more careful approach for this fork is needed overall. Instead of planning one or two changes every quarter, they should do 10 upgrades at once while maintaining the compatibility with the previous version. Pretty sure this is annoying af for small exchanges, so hopefully, this fork thing goes in a better way. Hardfork and whatever events, I think things like this have no effect anymore, even on the coin itself. So it seems there is no hope of changing hardfork if in essence it only provides additional features. Did they even learn about "log activities" ? Crypto should be flexible, right ?

I don't think so, the opposite is true. It is this development in the field of digital technology that provides a turning point for this which has spurred very rapid economic development. But actually quite a lot of negative impacts produced. So until now I can say that thanks to technological developments, this has really helped.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NOTHING IS ABOVE BITCOIN
|
on: December 19, 2019, 10:23:20 PM
|
This is exactly why stablecoins like USDT, TUSD, DAI, Libra, etc. won't gain much popularity. Cryptocurrencies and the blockchain technology were created with a scope - that we get rid of all the centralization and excessive control of authorities over the world. Corruption is at all time high level and transparency is nowhere near where we would like it to be. By adopting Bitcoin and blockchain & adiacent tech like smart contracts I'm sure we will make a much efficient & fair world.
Yes indeed, even though this is the risk, people still need stable coins because it is difficult at this time for Bitcoin and the like to be adopted. Actually bitcoin does not provide all solutions to overcome economic problems. It's just that it removes the function of centralized control. Other than that, i'm sure everyone is okay with that.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will centralization keep its dominance on the crypto industry forever?
|
on: December 18, 2019, 10:37:02 PM
|
In my opinion, centralized exchanges/platforms should exist but shouldn't be promoted too much or above decentralized platforms for the sake of decentralization and security of cryptocurrency. The crypto communities should be promoting the decentralized platforms. The outside world could choose to promote what they want.
I think any cryptocurrency that has most of its value on centralized platforms shouldn't be seen as very decentralized.. Most of tradings should be happening peer-to-peer or via decentralized platforms. The point is to keep things censorship resistant, immutable, secure, trustless etc. Centralized usage of cryptos shouldn't be more than 40%...the less the better.
But the hardest part is promoting decentralized exchange itself, somehow even though it has been promoted as it should, decentralized enthusiasts are not as much centralized exchange, either because of the volume, interface or features available on the decentralized exchange. Then decentralized exchange also tends not to make good developments. They just make it looks stagnan from its looks

Economy / Speculation / Re: Two Years Ago, Bitcoin Was Over $19,000 — What Happened?
|
on: December 18, 2019, 10:00:52 PM

He probably forget three years ago, bitcoin was by far less than $100, they’re just trying to cherry picking on the price, but two and three years does it make much difference? Do you brother with what you did five years ago? I could barely remember three years ago and every moment.
Yes it seems like new traders, have just felt the biggest risk of trading in crypto and here it is, falling to the point where people are very scared, the end of the year and the expected price really misses what is expected, halving and other events cannot give positive impact.

Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Coinexchange.io is Closing Down. Official announcement.
|
on: December 17, 2019, 02:54:28 PM
|
This is the proof that only exchanges that have potential are can survive in the market. There are now a lot of exchanges that are been closed down because they cannot survive in the market challenges. The competition is also the reason why they announce that they will close.
Yes I think a market that has no innovation and development will close faster. The lack of users will greatly influence the trading volume in it and then will certainly be a major factor. I feel Coinexchange has more or less an interface like decentralized exchange like Forkdelta so that only a few traders want to use it which is usually only to sell worthless coins which usually worth <15 $

Economy / Economics / Re: From 2020, the sale and custody of Bitcoin will be allowed to all German banks
|
on: December 16, 2019, 10:31:57 PM
|
This must be one of the positive consequence of adopting European union's recent money laundering directives. It seems as per those directives, German laws now may start supporting cryptos as an asset. Still, European countries are not ready to declare bitcoin as a legal tender like how Japan did some 3 years back itself. I believe Swiss government may do that first among Europe countries.
The German banks have the permission to sell and hold bitcoin but i cannot find any by law that says it will be considered as a legal tender, it might be considered as a commodity and if the government gives the permission to use bitcoin as a legal tender then it will be a huge news for the market and it will reflect in the market and i am still waiting for more news about the recent development. Don't do things like this will affect to the price of German's currency, i mean since Bitcoin was okay to be traded and German banks granted the permission, those people who want to enter the crypto should sell their cash and put it into BTC. Let say government become neutral about this, but if they suddenly make the law to forbid it, it can cause problem for them who already doing it.

Please stop giving sad discussions like this, if you give a rumor, at least give a source regarding the matter that will be discussed even if it is a Personal Blog. So not everyone understands what are you trying to discuss. Even if there is a relationship between the coins you mentioned and Microsoft, I'm sure they only use the Microsoft label name to attract real investors
