Covid19 might have a little effect on bitcoin, as some crypto enthusiasts withdraw capital for protection purposes. Although in general, it is quite negligible towards the trend of bitcoin.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Time to sell my BTC? on: April 12, 2021, 01:59:22 AM
Seeing the current price of bitcoin, you can sell now if you want to protect some part of your capital and buy on the correction point of bitcoin. Many people are still wanting BTC to break out and reach the 66k.
3  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price fall to Zero? Possible or not? on: April 11, 2021, 06:12:49 PM
It is impossible making bitcoin hits 0. To make it happen it requires absolute and drastic actions, such as globally banning bitcoin, or removal of crypto enthusiasts.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC losing its dominance big time on: April 11, 2021, 12:00:27 AM
Choose your coins that are going to boom from the decrease of bitcoin dominance. Hence, we are far from a declining phase in the trading cycle. Altcoins for the win

6  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin helpful to the economy? on: April 29, 2018, 12:54:10 PM
I guess it can reduce unemployment in one country. However, these people are the ones who have technological knowledge and are in the middle class. In addition, I think it will less only the unemployment rate in one country, but it will not help the poor ones, especially in the third world countries.
7  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you keep yourself from spending on unimportant things? on: April 29, 2018, 08:57:02 AM
Getting away with temptation is a good step on keeping yourself from spending on non-essential things, knowing that you can buy the thing you see.
I think it's a natural thing for us to get interested on the things we don't have, especially the flashy ones, and then regret for buying it. It's a matter of decision-making, and self-control for you to stop spending from on unimportant things.
8  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is bitcoin worth? Welcome to discuss on: April 28, 2018, 05:00:57 PM
Bitcoin has a value because people believe in it. In addition, bitcoin already helped many people.
If people will accept bitcoin as a medium of exchange, its value will appreciate and appreciate. Simple as that.
9  Economy / Economics / Re: What happens when there is NO electricity? How does one trade with BTC? on: April 28, 2018, 02:38:58 PM
Mobile data on phones can be used. If still not because of electricity and connection. I prefer to have one trusty mate, like your relative that lives far away from you, in other country for example. High trust of course is needed, still if this isn't enough then it is bad situation for you.
10  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin really anonymous? on: April 28, 2018, 12:32:50 PM
My friend told me that bitcoin has a pseudo-anonymous system, where all your transactions are recorded on a ledger. Just like in basic accounting, it is the summary of all account that have a record. Going back, in bitcoin the ledger is called the blockchain. Also, the bitcoin address and the amount of bitcoin used or received/sent can be seen. In addition, your personal information is not represented to the public.
11  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin for all levels of society, without any difference on: April 26, 2018, 05:40:45 PM
It still has a difference basing on advantages and disadvantages.
Rich people has knowledge on business related things, and has lots of money for investing. Also, can control the market if he/she really that rich.
Poor people might less knowledge and experience on business related things. In addition, poor people has low money for investing.
Still, bitcoin has the ability to empower and individual.
12  Economy / Economics / Re: when you sell out of panic, you are contributing to the dump! on: April 26, 2018, 04:37:58 PM
Straight to the point, yes and we can't control or convince them from to stop from panic selling.
Though, they are the ones responsible for their own actions. Maybe they are the ones who are new to this community.
13  Economy / Economics / Re: Panic selling can contribute to bitcoin price going down? on: April 26, 2018, 04:12:12 PM
Yes it does, in addition, any amount can bring dip to bitcoin.
Sadly, we can't convince people to do not go panic selling, because it always depends on them with their decision and thinking.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: Becoming wealthy and social responsibility on: April 24, 2018, 02:16:30 PM
What a wake up call it could be for us users sited in the main idea. Yes, several people here are attached and interested because of bitcoin is capable of empowering one individual and increasing its money. However, you could learn many things here in bitcoin by going to other topics in bitcointalk. In addition, I guess the higher ones are capable of giving directions to other people, in such way making apps and helping other people by commenting here in bitcoin talk
15  Economy / Economics / Re: Alternative investments on: April 24, 2018, 01:42:42 PM
Bitcoin is the best to pick investment currently. Going thru the topic, my opinion on having an alternative investment is buying lands/properties.
In connection with this, in the future it's value will increase either, same concept with bitcoin where buy low then sell high in the future. If not then, make the land as a residential for owners have to pay you.
16  Economy / Economics / Re: The advantages of bitcoin on: April 24, 2018, 12:43:09 PM
Well bitcoin helped many people, by its ability to empower an individual.
In addition, it has a peer to peer system, any amount of money can be paid and received instantly and anywhere.
Also, banks have holidays, a reason to make a transaction inactive.
There is no track or records made, and it is decentralized.
Bitcoin allows its users to completely control their money.
17  Economy / Economics / Re: buy high and sell low. or hold which one is it? on: April 23, 2018, 03:46:00 PM
Selling is a bad choice, because why would you sell at a losing price.
It might be questionable why are you still holding know the event in December 17 where bitcoin reached its highest record at that moment.
What faith you have is really questionable, also its either sell at losing price or holding on no matter situation happens.
Best choice is to hold on no matter gonna happen, and just wait the good time for you to sell.
18  Economy / Speculation / Re: Expected predictions on: April 23, 2018, 03:20:42 PM
Even the market is volatile and unpredictable, you can still have a positive mental attitude towards bitcoin.
Having patience and believing that bitcoin will rise greater than the December 17 event where it reaches greater than 19k USD.
There's nothing to worry about the price. just cease the opportunity when the price dips. Also, bitcoin is high maintenance where you need to watch every time its status.
19  Economy / Economics / Re: USD vs BTC on: April 19, 2018, 06:23:32 PM
i think if btc is more popular than usd, the price of bitcoin will skyrocket, as if there will be more people who accept bitcoin as a medium of exchange such as the reason for its value to appreciate. so it is a no for me, usd is still more famous than btc.
20  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: April 19, 2018, 02:33:01 AM
I prefer investing in bitcoin, because you have the control and have the chance to grow.
Yes gold is only secure, and I learned from our Economic Class that be careful on saving money on banks, specially you have to look if it is really worth on a long-term run, because you might encounter loss due to inflation. Although saving is good for having backups for emergency purposes.
