1  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: technical analysis is enough to be successful in trading ???? on: July 07, 2019, 04:20:28 PM
Technical analysis is useful only in the case of inaccurate forecasting of the market path "range and stability" but the prediction of the rise or fall depends on factors such as:

 - Mempool: more unconfirmed transactions, the higher the probability of price rises.
 - News: divided into news affect the price directly, such as news of hacks and regulation and news affect the price in the future, as ETF accepted.

This is my personal experience and not reliable.

News, this is the truth and more often has the biggest impact on the market. At this time, even the technical analysis that was used might not work at that time.
But usually even the forecasting of market are stable, most people still using it maybe its just for make sure they didn't do any mistakes.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I hate Banks and love Bitcoin :-> on: July 07, 2019, 04:04:00 PM
Use paypal or credit card, also bitcoin could have taken way longer than 20 minutes, sometimes it takes hours too so your example is pretty shitty if you want to make banks look worse than bitcoin. You had several options for instant payment, its your fault for refusing to use them, not the bank.

Because people prefer something that has a faster process. And in this case, Bitcoin is the winner, leaving aside the fluctuations and analysis going forward, of course Bitcoin wins because it is very easily accessible. 1 personal may only be able to access 1 account per 1 Bank, but in bitcoin you have no limits. And especially with an anonymous system which create free people are very happy.

4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Youtube bitcoin advertisements everywhere. on: July 06, 2019, 04:31:28 PM
I've seen youtube ads of BTC to, but yesterday I saw on TV, in the most expensive time of tvs propaganda

This is very good because more people will be interested in BTC, but when cryptos are advertised on popular ways, it's a signal to sell

On what he shared in the screenshot above, I thought it wasn't pure advertising. That is the rest of the rest of our browsing activity. If we often browse crypto, of course some websites may have stored cache and cookies for sale to advertisers. That's why we often get advertisements according to the browser history. So this is actually not pure because of some advertisers already seen this to the future, they see this and us as a chance to get more money.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin season is not here yet. on: July 06, 2019, 04:14:18 PM
Altcoin is just a vague category. The market has changed a lot and we can't just divide it into altcoin and bitcoin as their price movement are getting independent of each other. There always will be a trend but altcoin price are rising and falling depending on what they do and how they perform. So, its better to choose the right coin for you be it bitcoin or any.

Actually more towards the purpose of the Altcoin project and also our goals, do we want to profit in the long or short term? Even though we know the current market makes altcoin a gloomy thing, it doesn't mean that overall it's not good. Usually people are more interested in fresh new projects, I think it's the right place to get profits quickly.
But also, at the same time, the risk is very high.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese Media Is All Praises For Bitcoin on: July 06, 2019, 10:06:52 AM
Aren't media outlets in China owned by the government? If that's the case, this means that the Chinese are softening up for bitcoin and could potentially issue yet another statement regarding their support for bitcoin and other related services. Or it could just be another statement to piss off the Americans, knowing that the USD has been pretty much weakening as days are passing by. Either way, the Chinese are planning to get involved by prepping up the media, and releasing such statements just helps with that.

Yes, there is a possibility that something like that is happening now, considering that these two countries are in economic competition. USA has tried but it has an impact on the weakening of their currencies while China if we look at a few months back like not doing anything related to Crypto. With things like this maybe China is also starting a movement that makes Bitcoin bullish or bearish./
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to safely store big amounts of BTC? on: July 05, 2019, 04:38:54 PM
Hello,

Suppose I would expand my BTC portfolio to 10 or 15 BTC.....how would you store such a big amount of coins?

Ofcourse I would use a hardware wallet, but if I store them all on 1 wallet and I lose the wallet, or the house gets on fire and it burns, then I have lost those coins forever? Or are there still ways to get to the coins somehow in that case?

Would you advise to store let's say 15 BTC on 3 different hardware wallets (5BTC each), or would you spread it out even more? Ofcourse I'm not gonna buy more than max. 3 hardware wallets but in that case maybe 15 different laptop wallets (Electrum, Jaxx, Exodus etc.) with 1BTC each on it is safer?

I'm looking for the safest way to store a big amount of BTC and to minimize the risks of losing a big amount.

Of course not, I think hardware wallet is the safest device to store Bitcoin especially if you have such a large amount. Moreover, the system in the wallet hardware can also be accessed if you have a copy of the Private Key. So if you lose it you can still recover with another hardware wallet or with your computer
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Makes Bitcoin Valuable? on: July 05, 2019, 04:09:48 PM
The Bitcoin Standard is the first book I've ever read to simply explain the properties that make money valuable.

If there were such a thing as a 'Bitcoin University', Satoshi's white paper would be covered on day one, and this book would be covered on day two.

Get up to speed on your Bitcoin education.

https://youtu.be/T4ltMvjGO5Y

What do you mean by standard here?
I think what makes Bitcoin valuable is because of the system, namely Blockchain is not directly bitcoin itself. Unfortunately, few people misunderstand this section
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we officially consider Blockchain the new internet? on: July 05, 2019, 02:13:18 AM
Absolutely no, basically this is different. Blockchain is another thing. Even the blockchain cannot stand alone without internet so this is not a new internet. I think blockchain is just a series on the internet that connects transactions only
10  Economy / Economics / Re: What are some not so obvious things that damage a country's economy? on: July 04, 2019, 07:36:15 AM
Things that damage the economy indirectly.

For example I feel that fast food and an unhealthy lifestyle leads chronic health problems that probably affects the economy not just monetarily.

Of course we can't just deny these people care, just promote a healthier lifestyle.

What are other things that we can change that will affect the economy in a positive way?

The only good thing and at the same time to make economic growth work. That is the basis. I think it will be difficult if it is consumptive. Unless you are paid to eat or become a Tour Guide and some other unique things.
11  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: All crypto exchange/business should strive to move offshore to Cayman/Seychelles on: July 04, 2019, 05:18:22 AM
The thing is, even if we push for non-regulated, KYC-avoiding exchanges, it would only be a matter of time before regulatory pressure hits them no matter how 'free' they are from such constraints.

we've already been in that situation for years. we can either keep giving the finger to governments/multinational organizations like FATF and support exchanges that do the same.....or we can bend over and let them fuck us---KYC, burdensome transaction reporting and proving source of funds, giving the government a huge databank to analyze our wallets and financial activities.

i don't see any other options.

yes basically everything that you want to get (profit) certainly must have a risk. Whereas the risk here is here. They say "give us your identity or we don't give you a chance"
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Relation To Bitcoin Cash on: July 04, 2019, 02:12:29 AM
Please clarify. Is Bitcoin Cash the same as regular Bitcoin? It seems to me that awhile ago Bitcoin owners were being encouraged to move their Bitcoin into Bitcoin Cash in order that they might receive twice as much return from it than if we left it in Bitcoin. Is that still the case?

Bitcoin cash is the result of a Bitcoin fork. There are also other things like that, similarities and differences I don't think are much different. People only care at the beginning of forking because usually it's quite profitable
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins Us dollar evaluation might crush globally once euro replaces US dollar on: July 03, 2019, 02:08:19 PM

trend is unstoppable that euro will replace us dollar as no one will trust us dollar in the long term anymore

brits and americans are destroying their currencies.

once they have crushed and whole world starts thinking in euro and potentially yuan.

usdollar evaluation of bitcoin will be decreased massively as us dollar wont be easily changable with euros, which then will be the worlds lead currency.

plus.

americans will dump their currency once they started electing socialists and leftists.

the eurodominance is also a change in political climate globally.

regards

I think this is also due to ICO, STO, or IEO that use the USD pair as one of the currencies that can be used for deposits. After all, a coin offering is rare which requires even banning users from the USA who might be one of the causes of declining performance
14  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: POSSIBLE TIME AND PERIOD OF THE YEAR TO TRADE on: July 03, 2019, 02:11:53 AM
I don't have any reason to trade in the annual term, I guess that also depends on what coin. And it doesn't need to be annual. even profit alone has not been determined.
Then, it will better for short - midterm to trading, a year it's just like investment (I prefer to invest to gold or else).
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: USA blacklists 2 bitcoin addresses, threatens with secondary sanctions! on: July 03, 2019, 02:10:09 AM
I guess things like this will not make a significant impact, both on the two governments and on the market going forward, this is more or less limited to just passing news.

Blocking those address is just dig a hole to close another hole.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Iran seizes 1,000 Bitcoin mining machines after power spike on: July 02, 2019, 05:04:21 AM
It's highly unlikely for Iran to be the new "crypto mining paradise".Iran was never really bitcoin-friendly,due to the project of creating it's own cryptocurrency or due to the authoritarian nature of it's government. It's well known that authoritarian countries aren't crypto-friendly.
However,I'm surprised by the amount of mining hardware, that is currently used in Iran.

As long as they can cope with electricity consumption and compared to the profits that can be obtained, I don't think this is a problem. but what if they can stand with it ?
17  Economy / Economics / Re: What's it like to live on crypto instead of Banks? on: July 02, 2019, 05:02:17 AM
What I like in crypto is when you save it to your digital wallet you can use it any time, you can check it everyday your funds than to bank. Although we can use the bank to save our cash but for me I'm happy to use digital wallets in crypto it's more convenient to me to save my money their as long you take care your private keys or password.

It is very convenient but you need a stable Internet connection. If some problems appear with it, then, what will you do? Traditional money and banks are needed even for those guys, who work with crypto permanently.

What I like is just how fast it is to get this crypto profit. While the bank you have to deposit your money to get interest and of course you have to wait a long time
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is limited supply money such as Bitcoin better than the ... on: July 02, 2019, 02:12:04 AM
Is limited supply money such as Bitcoin better over the current forms of money?

For they can be printed out more (EURO, USD etc currency) and gold can be found all over the universe.

It could be but in this case, the supply and demand for Bitcoin is actually not that simple. Do you see how volatile the price is?

The longer there is more circulating supply. so that demand also decreases

19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Road to $8k? Bitcoin parabolic curve kinda dangerous on: July 02, 2019, 02:09:32 AM
Everyone is definitely sorry we missed them to take Bitcoin. but I think it's good when like this they are also hesitant to take it even though it could be enough time now. Too much analysis will actually make doubts big
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is irreversible: strength and weakness on: July 01, 2019, 02:12:23 AM
Bitcoin does not have a central authority that control it activities and that is one of the advantage and also the disadvantage of decentralization, unlike the faint paper money where the bank can make refound back to the sender in the case of wrong sending or frauds where the found still remains in the receiver account and it part of the double spending mechanism. But bitcoin don't have this feature and before a blockchain development that will carter for this will be in place it will take a long time from now, may be when bitcoin get regulated that can happen but until then bitcoin transactions is just base on p2p no middle man.

But when we practice it directly, then unconsciously or inevitably we must still use paper money, not bitcoin. Both of them still have complementary points
