2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Solana airdrops speculation on: December 09, 2023, 03:07:35 PM
Jupiter, Jito and couple others peanut amount so not worth mentioning already did airdrop. I think airdrop season on Solana is just starting and might be worth to give projects a try there. Even if these projects themselves don't do airdrop, we might see interaction with them counted in future by other projects, as we have seen happen on ethereum ecosystem.

Some potential ones:

1) ó perp dex, you can long arb with 3x leverage, and leave it for a while   Tongue

2) lend/borrow platform

3) ó nft marketplace

4) ó liquid staking platform

5) ó borrow/lend platform

Good luck!
Thank you for this list OP, so this doesn't have yet some snapshots and we're still early? I've already notice this airdrops as the Twitter community is alive again so I think it's worthwhile if you did a thing or two to be somehow eligible on this. I'm more into Ethereum but I think Solana's comeback is imminent considering it already jump 3x from the lows just the recent month.

4  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What should newbies do in trading? on: December 09, 2023, 12:44:48 PM
I'm also beginner in trading. I trade since this summer and I lost about $90 on $120 account. Recently I make $20 on last $34.
Throughout my journey in trading, I read Jack Schwager's book, watched many educational videos on YouTube, read many articles on the educational sections of CEX exchanges, and also talked with many traders. It seems to me that I understand enough about technical analysis, trading systems and trader psychology. But I'm at a dead end and don't know what to do next. Other traders advised me to just trade, but I think that over time I will lose my remaining $45, and demo trading does not bring such emotions and I donít want to try hard when trading it
First is to know what is your objectives and from then on you should commit yourself on that. You don't have a choice but to get yourself dirty if you want to get back what you've lost or make more out of it, it's not easy considering you've got little portfolio but it's worth it if in the end you succeed. My advice is to focus on the small profit, let's see you focus on $20, then $50 etc., that way you'll focus more rather than focus on the huge amount of profits.
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe you can win on sports betting by analyzing a betting lines only? on: December 09, 2023, 06:15:31 AM
When I say 'line,' I am referring to the spreads or handicap of a certain team in the game. Through my years of experience, I have noticed that putting effort into analyzing the team's statistics and other factors, such as news and rumors, does not significantly affect my chances of winning.

I got this belief now that bookmakers are already knowledgeable about these aspects, and they take them into consideration when establishing a betting line for a specific game.

How about you? Do you share the same perspective or not?
Yes, I mean you can do that by luck and by analyzing the situation base on the players performance and most of all by intuition. I think I do agree on you for that, right now I'm into live betting rather than just betting before the game. Most of the time I'm into low odds and most of the time they tend to follow the plan I'm betting.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to be cautious: Everyone is not market expert on: December 09, 2023, 03:55:54 AM
Well, we can't deny that these so-called experts are either to get your money, your views, or just even your support. I don't see that it's all of them, I can still say there are still out there that do it with passion without anything in return but they're rare to find these days. Those who really do some in-depth research are those who got little views or following and I guess people need to know that.
And very unfortunate that many innocent people have fallen into self-proclaimed experts and trust them. A lot of people lost their money from following these experts pretending that they know what will happen next but in the end, they will say sorry. That is why, it was encouraged especially for newbies that we have to do research on our own rather than trusting strangers because we have to know that the market is unpredictable. In fact, there are a lot of learning resources available online which is not hard for us to learn personally even without help from others.
This will keep happening if newbies keep coming as well, newbies are there primary target. We cannot control it but a little thing like this as a discussion in this forum will somehow help them in small way so that they will be aware. Being vigilant in the first place will help them but if you're not being aware these scammers will totally exploit you.
7  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price guess, 2023 on: December 08, 2023, 05:38:36 PM
My prediction is that the price of bitcoin will probably be in the range of $45k-$46k by the end of this year. The reason I predict this price is because the current bitcoin market conditions are very bullish. Bitcoin has rebounded after experiencing a long bearish phase in recent months. Therefore, it is very likely that bitcoin will soar high at the end of this year, especially since the general condition of the crypto market is still bullish.
Hmmm, I think we already hit that range, maybe we go higher at $50k with so much anticipation around the Bitcoin spot ETF approval. My prediction is that we will stay bullish until the next year then some correction pre-halvening, but will likely move upwards again post-halvening.

Well, only noobs will fall in this scheme, it's too good to be true, it's literally you're giving free money to those who play on your platform which I've said is just a fraudulent act. What's with the Cashback? I think it's just to lure the gamblers here, maybe next time though.

10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling for newbies on: December 08, 2023, 12:09:41 PM
Hello everyone, as you can see I'm new here, I'm looking for recommendations for a game to bet some money that I don't mind losing, I would like recommendations and if possible a recommendation for somewhere that teaches how to play. Thank you very much. Grin
I'm pretty you'll love slots or dice as it was more easy to play, you can play it manually or automatically, your choice, the casino allows that. I think you should use search engines if you really want to learn on what game you wanna play. It's not bad to ask, but this one is likely a spoon-fed attempt for me.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling sites and current transactions fee on: December 07, 2023, 06:24:59 PM
Now the gambling site was in the trouble because of the high transaction fee by the exchanges like the Binance. It was unacceptable one for the gambler to pay 26 dollars to withdraw funds from the Binance.Being a gambler,my opinion is to hold till the money in the exchange itself.Surely we get the profit from the gambling site,if we follow some techniques in the gambling site. But my point is why we need to pay the exchange fee of 26 dollars for the single transaction.

My decision may be seems revolutionary one,but the fact is the same transaction fee will be reduced when the market back to the bear standard. The bull run give huge dollars to the trader who hold from the 31k market price of the bitcoin.I had some arguments with my friends with whom we meet on every weekend. They also had the opinion of hold their money in the exchange till the market fee back to the normal one.So what your standard for the current transaction fee of bitcoin.
No, don't hold it on an exchange especially if it's huge, you can use non-custodial wallet or best a hardware wallet. Binance itself or the casino wasn't at fault in the first place if there's a price hike on transaction fees, they're just literally follow the market structure of fees. My advice is that if you will just put it on an exchange and can't gamble the money yet then I suggest trade that instead.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it advisable to invest in JITO (JTO)? on: December 07, 2023, 05:01:41 PM
JITO is the first MEV powered stake pool that allows unlocking liquidity on your staked SOL to use across DEFI while keeping self custody of your funds.

JTO is airdropping about 10% of their token supply to eligible users. While some exchanges also announced the coin listing and I'm sure that millions of dollar in liquidity will be added to DEXs and market. But Currently, JITO has 68,636 stakers in pool, 6,340,192 SOL TVL in pool and 82 Validators.

Do you think these amount of stakers and TVL are enough to have governance token airdrop? And is it advisable to invest in this coin?
Always NFA, by the way it's already trading on Binance and up a 1000% and I think they are already announced it that they're airdropping it so yeah there will be a token airdrop. Not advising on anything, you should be responsible on it and do some proper research. Everything right now is going up and what I just can advise is don't FOMO or go all in unless you can afford to lose it.
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will you say within your limits to encourage responsible gambling? on: December 07, 2023, 03:40:32 PM
If you work as a staff member in a physical casino as a dealer or in a sports bookie, I know that there are subtle ways you can use to encourage responsible gambling that will not go against the terms and conditions for staff.

For example, suppose you encounter a gambler who has wagered $200 at the table and is currently winning $6k. Would you express to them, "Hey, you're up $6k, and you initially entered this table with $200. Walk away, Take your winnings, go!" or will you say, "It is very admirable to know when to stop"?

What will you say within your limits to encourage responsible gambling?
I don't know if you're allowed in the first place to talk with the players, I think it's against the rules as a staff and especially if you're a dealer or something. It may be a good thing but I think you shouldn't be there if you'll not fulfill the job you're tasked to. For me, I'd just do my job until the very last, gamblers are responsible enough to know that they can handle themselves.
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 07, 2023, 01:12:22 PM
A couple games to watch on ESPN tonight. Canít say Iím too interested in watching the first one but the Timberwolves over the Spurs should be an easy win for bettors. The second game should prove to be a little more exciting as the Nuggets take on the Clippers. Surprisingly the Clippers are the favorite, so Iím wondering if the Nuggets have some people out.
The Clippers-Denver game was a surprising one. Denver led by 15 at the end of the first quarter but only to allow the home team to double their score in the second quarter. The defense was good but Jokic missed some shots he should've made.
Not just Jokic missed the shots that he should have made, but him and Murray had committed a lot of turnovers as well, and then he had one shot that was block by Zu. It's critical that he made those shots and score to score. Kudos to their defense as well when they shut down Murray and Porter Jr in the 4th quarter.

While George waxes hot in the 3's again and so it Kahwi taking advantage of the small Murray guarding him. And the Beard with that sidestep three's un-guardable. But this is just one game though, I think the Denver is still the better team down playoff time.
I think it wasn't the night for the Joker having 9/32 FG that was a lot of missed opportunities. I think the turnover committed by Denver was the one that took the Clippers momentum though if it wasn't the case I think they have gotten the lead. Miami on the other hand had a good night without Adebayo, and Orlando Robinson got some great stats as well as Caleb Martin with their double-double performances. I got a win with these two teams today.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Behavioral Change!!! on: December 07, 2023, 08:37:04 AM
Does any of feel behavioral change in you based on the win/loss in gambling. Myself had experienced it, and personally I used to be happy and I used to be polite with my family members and kid whenever I am on profit. On the day of losing it changes exactly in the opposite way, even for simple things I get much anger. Particularly while giving food to kid patience is must. On winning days I let him take his own time and eat. On the losing days I used to shout at him. I'm addicted, and I want fellow gamblers to make a self analysis at regular interval and be on the safer side.
Of course, and likely it's apparent and visible especially when you're losing. I think that explains a lot that it has effect on us and that's clearly understandable because you're not the only one that experience it, just don't get it to the extreme that you'll do things unnecessary.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Do You Convince Someone On Something That Will Not Work on: December 06, 2023, 06:30:14 PM
We all know Martingale will not work in the long run, should I let him find out himself but that will incur a heavy loss in this case.  Cry
Or should I discourage him by showing him videos, articles, and testimonials?

Because of this, I will not talk about online gambling to newbie I could put a guy in big trouble.
I think you can work either way but if you still bump with him then tell him the latter approach. The latter may seem difficult but I think it's worth it if you'll pay attention on the details on how to be a good gambler. Martingale is by far one of the risky strategies out there but if luck is on your side you'd likely made some fortunes.
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you deal with high transaction fee on BTC on gambling? on: December 06, 2023, 04:49:23 PM
I think everyone notice how high the current fee right now on Bitcoin network. Iím sure player like me that relying only on signature campaign payment in Bitcoin is having a hard time to play right now since the fee is insanely high.

How do you deal with this problem? Is there any casino that allows no confirmation to deposit? Letís say I will send my Bitcoin using fee below average and then play while itís still unconfirmed. I knew that some casino do have instant deposit but I never try depositing much lower fee to the average fee if they will still credit instantly.
I think for segwit addresses it wasn't that high, I think it's more high using Ethereum and that thing sucks compare to the former. I think if you can trade-off on selling your bitcoin to some altcoins that have lower transaction fees that are supported by your casino, then, I suggest you go with that path.

What cheap projects do you know that have good potential?

Thank you.
Research more, literally there are lot of tools this time around to use for that and even Twitter you'll find those gems. Just follow the right persons though I be blunt that there are lot of frauds out there. Look into the trend narratives they're likely the projects that will have potential.
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are You Keeping Numbers Or You Allow The Machine To Pick Your Numbers To Bet on: December 06, 2023, 12:09:27 PM
The lottery is very popular here in our country you can find lotto outlets in almost every corner of our city, and there's always a long line whenever the top prize balloons I frequently bet in a lottery but every time I bet I just mark the LP sign in a lotto form which means Lucky Pick that is the machine will be the one to pick the numbers for you.

My reason is I don't want to have attachments on numbers that I'm going to bet because it will make me a lotto betting addict, some bettors keep their favorite numbers to bet and they make sure that they bet on it daily in fear that it will come out when they failed to make a bet.

In your country do you have this LP lucky pick feature in the lotto form and do you choose LP to make a bet for you or are you keeping numbers to bet, what are your reasons, and what's your success rate?
I don't think that if you have machine pick it for you, you wouldn't be addicted on it too, that's probably just a theory. You'll get addicted to it even if you don't have something like numbers to care for, addiction doesn't seem to have that kind of pattern. I think most lotto winners have numbers they care.

are bookies &  trustworthy with larger amounts ?

somebody can confirm betting on this 2 bookies with over 10k , 50k ? and no issues with withdrawls
Definitely, what has been the case on your side? They wouldn't damage their reputation with that just kind of amount ser, they even process million of dollars. They are so far the best casinos you can trust out there and we can assure that.
