https://www.cnbc.com/2022/03/03/ukraine-raises-54-million-as-bitcoin-donations-surge-amid-russian-war.html
While ung russia naman is ngrackdown sila ng crypto sa kanilang bansa.
Quite a huge feat na maging top 1 pero hindi rin naman imposible at kung usapang gobyerno ang tatanungin, I think itong mga politicians know the risk in crypto kaya possible na doubtful ang pangkalahatan dito. I think matagal ng crypto friendly ang Ukraine at ibang mga European countries like Germany or Malta and not just sa nangyaring gulo between with Russia.

I see it na mas marami yung users compared to builders kaya magkakaroon talaga ng demand sa mga developers in the future if maging mainstream na talaga ang adoption sa crypto.
2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can the casino control whether the user wins or loses? on: October 17, 2024, 10:49:25 AM
can the casino control the user account that keeps winning?
No one knows but I think if it's provably fair game, that would not be possible as it's verifiable publicly as far as I know, I maybe wrong as well in this statement.

does a new account have a greater chance of winning?
I've been with new account before but chances are slim when it comes to winning. So, this really doesn't prove anything.
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Nigerian Born BodyBuilder (Samson Dauda) Won Mr. Olympia In USA. on: October 16, 2024, 10:37:27 PM
Congratulations to him, and from the look of things, this competition is relatively new and that way the reward is so small, and if time permits them to develop further as in the future, I bekeuithe $600,000 is subject to change, why I focus on the winner rewards is because this is an international competitions it surpose to gain more popularity that it grand prize should be something reasonable compared to other international Olympics games.

Body building and weight lifting is something that have been in the games limelight for ages, but because of some restrictions and limit on such games that have direct effects on the health and bodily injuries.
It's not small chad, that's a luxury if you think that's not worth his prize. I think there are sponsorships in this and not just that cash prize. Well, congratulations to Sam, I think with that body he really deserves that though.
4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If your son who is over 18 asks you how to bet on soccer, would you help him? on: October 16, 2024, 02:19:01 PM
Imagine your son, who just turned 18, comes to you, saying, "Dad, I would like to learn how to bet on soccer." He asks if you can explain the basics, like understanding odds, analysis techniques, and the risks involved. What would you do Huh
I know that, as a parent, you want to support your son’s interests but also worry about the potential downsides of gambling, which is normal from my point of view (well, I think teenagers may become addicted to gambling more easily than adults).
My question is: Do you take this opportunity to teach him about responsible betting, or do you try to steer him away from it? Also, if you are still supporting him financially, would you allow him to use the money you provide for betting? the money you work so hard for... Smiley

P.S.: Whether you’re a parent or not, you are welcome to share your opinion! Wink
I think to bet or just pick with no money involved is accepted but if it's the other way around I guess that would be frown upon to do so. He surely will get the jist of it even if you've just teach the basics as I will not really spoon-fed him, learning by doing is my approach when it comes to things like this.

At age 18 I'll surely have been conditioned him of what's responsible or not even at handling finance, teaching him just recently is surely a lacking parent skills. Most academic institutions doesn't teach financial management and I guess as a modern parent we need to destigmatize that once and for all. We don't have to be ashamed teaching them that kind of skills because it's really hard to be poor, the world is so cruel to poor.

Hello everyone who actually knows what happened to the Binance Playbread.com casino I liked their official games where you can play them give me a link if there is one
Always verify anything from their official social media platforms before you interact with anything. Binance doesn't have their own casino, they develop a Telegram Mini App (TMA) called Moonbix instead but that's not a casino.
You are right, the verification through their support staff may be the best way to go about things now, especially these days when scammers are everywhere. If scammers could impersonate companies, how much would you be a victim easily if you were deceived to be a partner of a certain company? But at the same time, it has been proven that Binance had partnered with a business before even if they do not usually do it (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5510288.msg64593585#msg64593585), all the same, let's be careful.

As for Moonbix, yes, it's true, I saw it on their official announcement handles. Could you believe that scammers are even changing the names to similar ones to stylishly diver people to fake ones?
Scammers these days are becoming too crafty even there are tools that could limit them. With the help of AI, they become more sophisticated and normal users or those who haven't been in the space lately would have a hard time knowing what's legit or not. Even those who has experience are getting fooled so no one is an exception unless you exercise security at it's finest.

9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: July 18, 2024, 03:35:41 AM
The NBA is over for Patrick Beverley for now, Patrick Beverley will now play for the Israeli team Hapoel Tel Aviv.

The Patrick Beverly news was a bit out of left field but he said they gave him everything he asked for so he couldn’t say no.

I'm surprised to read today that the contract which included everything he asked for was only $2,000,000 per year for 2 years.  His last NBA contract had to be for significantly more than that, right?  I'm pretty sure that's below the veterans minimum in the NBA.  I guess that means not a single team in the NBA was interested in signing Pat Bev.  That, or the Israeli's are giving him some incredible perks outside of his compensation, which is more likely in my opinion than no team in the NBA wanting him for the league minimum.

Maybe if he was still very young a number of team could have been willing to let a number of his awful antics slide, but no NBA team want a time bomb like Pat Beverly he does more talking now than plays and being a sour loser with never ending controversy and putting his teams difficult situation was never going to end well for him, I'm pretty afraid that the same fate could await Draymond Green once he gets traded or enter free agency, he'll need to actually play and talk less to be kept on any NBA roster. Kevin Porter Jr. for instance whom everyone could have thought his NBA days are over, but now he's back into the league after just a season, and the major factor that contributed to that is because he's still a young lad, if it were to be a veteran, I'm very sure that would have been it for him, Ja Morant as well probably wouldn't still be in the league if they are older guys.
He definitely is a time bomb and the way he did his career this past seasons was all just pure trash talks I guess that could make him the headline. Same goes to Green who definitely be signed by WWE in the future. I'd say, Pat Bev landing on Israel was still a heaven sent, his legacy would still continue though.

Just change DNS to 1.1.1.1(CloudFlare) or 8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4(Google).
Thanks for sharing it here para sa awareness natin ng nakararami.

Abolish sim registration I guess.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull Run within Q4 of 2024? on: January 27, 2024, 09:53:26 PM
That's true and I think we are all saying the same thing here, the market can remain unpredictable and we can only do the best for ourselves by making decisions to hold now till then, if it comes in early this year then fine, but if it's meant to begin by next year which is 2025 then I think that is also not bad anyway, ours is to always get prepared for it coming, the preparation begin with what we do today.
I think now is a matter buying and holding, having all it takes to accumulate more including Bitcoin and any other cryptocurrency. There is always a saying, "After the rain comes shine", the market has experienced too many DIP and we don't espect to continue soaring in it for too long, we believe in shorter time the market will experience a new face, were everyone will see profits from their holdings.
Well I think with the surge from below 20k I think it will get exhausted and we already experience it this time around but I think it will not be too long before it goes back up again. Remember after halving the price historically went upward and this time is the only time for a good buying on spot markets.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why ETH, USDT, BNB, SOL and XRP have the highest market capture? on: January 27, 2024, 04:03:08 PM
What makes me laugh is that all of those crypto as discussed are still consider an altcoin without any significance. They are coins that will not survive long which was predicted about a time after 2017. Yet, they are alive and happening without any difficulties.

Do you think they will survive or no
Establishing a name on every industry do matter and I think only one from your list for me doesn't made any significant impact yet when it comes to the brand which is SOL but the rest I think they do. They'll survive for sure, it's evolving and that's the only way they could. I don't think they haven't endured any difficulties to be at top right now, they did have difficulties on their own and even Bitcoin did.
15  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Sa mga mahilig magairdrop isang paalala at magingat tayo on: January 27, 2024, 02:23:35 PM
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Claim $WEN airdrop if you are active on Solana on: January 27, 2024, 12:18:44 PM
Seems to be another competitor for another memecoin but I think we've seen lot of it but still congratulations to those who are eligible, it seems I'm not and I'm not that into SOL ecosystem tbh yet. I think airdrop should be something like this because those who we anticipate the most seems to just disappointing especially with the recently airdropped MANTA tokens.
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The "loaded slots" scam on: January 27, 2024, 09:42:44 AM
Someone claiming that if you pay them x amount of money, they'll give you some very secretive sets of information about what slot games to play and when, in order to get surewins.

It's important to emphasize that this is an outright scam. Slot machines, especially virtual ones, are based on chance alone.
So the term "loaded slot machine" does not apply at all. If you have ever seen someone believing in this myth, do your best to dispel it.
If we're going to gamble, at least we should be educated about it and do it in a healthy manner, without falling into the trap of fallacies.
That's too good to be true tbh and I think only newbies would surely fall on that. If you already played any slots online before you'll notice that it's no different than any physical casino will offer, it's a game of chance. I don't think they could persuade regular gambler to fall for this outright scam, they'll surely not unless you're that desperate to make some quick gains.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Airdrops speculations thread on: January 26, 2024, 09:47:57 PM
Seems Eigenlayer will be meta for a while, Altlayer took Eigenlayer stakers in their criteria, and likely there are others are in pipeline, plus $EIGEN itself.

Also, whalesmarket opened trading of Eigenlayer points, although I see no orders yet: https://twitter.com/WhalesMarket/status/1750189202824966652
Wow that's massive and I've been farming this one for awhile and there's still long way to go and now that they moved their reopening I guess it's my way to accumulate more to be restaked. So sad never get some ALT on that airdrop because they're just airdropping those who got more points on the restaked platforms and probably those who get so early and have huge staked assets.
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling for fun vs gambling for the financial benefit. on: January 26, 2024, 09:06:21 PM
Do you really see gambling as more of fun than a means to a financial end?

how much can you put into gambling before it removes the fun aspect of gambling out of it?
Why not both? I mean if you really love that sport that you even play with it and at the same time you can make a bet for your favorite team or player, I think winning over it would be just an extra for you having fun but sure it involves both. As I've said you don't have to sacrifice the fun just to say you're earning out of it, you can let it stay with the chance of winning some money.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the definition of a Gambler? Do you consider yourself as a Gambler? on: January 26, 2024, 08:25:15 PM
Personally, I don't like the word Gambler tbh. And it feels more worse when someone calls someone a Gambler in the local language. I played some hands it's true and I tested many games for test purposes But I was never affected by the gamble. and I consider I am not a gambler myself. Somehow I do not feel good or something does not fit with me by this word.

What do you think about yourself and how do you want to define the word Gambler?
I think what we call gamblers are those regular gamblers but yeah calling us gambler out of nowhere is out of ordinary but I don't think we can associate another word with it when it facts we gamble. Maybe it's just rooted on our memory that if we hear a gambler we tend to associate it on some bad person but I think it's just how we have perceived it but actually there's nothing wrong with it as long as you're not doing something illegal.
