It is cycle of hashrates-difficulty
I'm not sure that's the case. While the hashrate increases 20%, the difficulty goes up 300%. This is not normal. The difficulty is recalculated every block according to the hash rate at that moment. As the hashrate increases, the difficulty increases.
I can live with steady increase/decrease in difficulty, but if it's going to spike like crazy making your profits extremely unsteady, then it's a serious issue for mining. With this coin there's no way to calculate 24h profits. You can have 1.5GBX/24h with 35mil hashrate, and suddenly 0.8GBX with 40mil hashrate. Is this, or not to mine at all. If the difficulty would be steady, imagine what NH would do ^_^ They would mine 10000x times your power. Well if NiceHash was to jump on GoByte then it would profit us all. You would get more hashrate to process your transactions and I would move to another coin with more stable difficulty where I can calculate my 24h profit. Right now I have to predict when the difficulty is going to spike 300% for no apparent reason. If NiceHash is jumping on GoByte then why is hashrate barely going up while the difficulty spikes 300%? That's not how it works. Ever heard of stuck chains? Miners mine at 300 diff. Nicehash comes in, mines 24 blocks at 300 difficulty, difficulty is retargeting at 3000, chain gets stuck for 3 days. Because you will have to pusj 24 blocks at 3000 difficulty with 10 Ghs Yeah but why does this only happen to GoByte? Why can't it be more like this? https://www.crypto-coinz.net/coin-info/?7-BitcoinZ-BTCZ-Equihash-calculator/BitcoinZ is one of the top coins to mine. It is a totally different algorithm.

Can someone explain this difficulty spike? There doesn't seem to be much difference in hash rate, but difficulty suddenly spikes 3x for a couple of hours and then drops down. I have not seen this happening with most other coins. GoByte difficulty is often very spiky. Why is that? The difficulty is recalculated every block according to the hash rate at that moment. As the hashrate increases, the difficulty increases.

Quite a bold claim that you make about your coin. Are you sure that GOBYTE is a better DASH? Dash has a proven track record while your coin is brand new. It'll be a long way to go where Dash is today.
I think you misunderstood. Actually your sentence is wrong. "GOBYTE is a better DASH" and "to go where Dash is today" don't work together. Because we are not aiming to be Dash. Now that you seem to be willing to argue about logic, let's do so: "Based on Dash, it's an enhanced and further developed version" That quote stems from your OP. Both terms "enhanced" and "further developed" can only be used together with a reference point. Since the only reference point you provide is "Dash", I assume you were in fact referring to Dash when saying that your version is enhanced and further developed. I might be wrong with my assumption, but that would be the result of you providing insufficient information. You could also mean "enhanced" and "further developed" compared to Applecoin, whereas you made use of Dash as a code base. I doubt you meant that Enchanted and further developed =/= Going into Dash's direction. My sentence implies that you are millions of miles away from DASH, and to surpass it you would first have to get where it is. The ridiculous thing is exactly that you say you have already an enhanced and further developed version. Funny enough. Good luck Again, Enchanted and further developed doesn't mean we go into DASH's direction to surpass it. You can't have a race between a car that is in US and a car that is UK. All the other coins are enchanted and further developed versions of the Bitcoin, yet they didn't go into the same direction. Funny. Talking about different locations while developing globally decentralized and distributed technology is funny. As for your Bitcoin comparison: the most advanced coin out there is Bitcoin, not any other coin. Currencies can't exist without an ecosystem. The ecosystem is an integral part of the technology itself. Bitcoin is the best coin currently in existence. Picking a single feature, "improving" it and calling that coin a better coin is funny. Your lack of perspective is, or was actually, funny.

Hi all. I just bought 1000gbx and wanted to run masternods but never did. Can me someone help? And I would like to know the computer must be on 24 hours a day with masternode?
We recommend you to host the masternode on a VPS. Use https:// coinwatch.center/?r=50 Can I run 2 masternodes on the same VPS service? I am not familiar with this? Please help me. You need 2 IPs for 2 Masternodes. Also a good amount of RAM.

ATTENTION!!!
We, are the team of developers of the QBIC project, appeal to our community.
Respected community!
Do not give in to provocations, and don't panic. All manipulation of QBIC price on exchanges is carried out by a group of fraudsters. We offer you to refrain from draining coins at unreasonable price. Please be patient and all that we have planned - we will perform, along with that coin price will be rising constantly. To those who do not see the potential of the QBIC project development, we offer to sell your coins today for nothing and to withdraw from the project. Those who got coins for nothing in the form of gifts, bounty, airdrop and different subscriptions may not appreciate the labor and costs of miners, masternode owners and hard work of developers! For everybody else, we guarantee that we will continue to develop this great project together with You.
AND EVERYONE DEFINITELY WILL BE HAPPY!!!
Definintely this. All manipulation of QBIC price on exchanges is carried out by a group of fraudstersHmmm...

Hello, I have been mining GBX for a while now. Today I was doing another transfer of GBX from my wallet to exchange, sent it in the morning and money still didn't arrive to exchange. I checked my GBX wallet and it says:
Status: 0/unconfirmed Date: 1/28/2018 09:05
What should I do now, just wait?:d
GoByte Core version v0.12.1.3-3d331f9 (64-bit)
Try to double spend it. Send the same transaction again with Instant Send enabled. "The amount exceeds your balance" error I had a tick on send as zero fee if possible, I always had it on and it transferred within 1-2 hours, but now it just stuck on 0/unconfirmed. "Pay only the required fee" was unchecked as I read the tooltip and it said there is a chance of never getting it. But in "send as zero fee" it says it may take long, but no chance for forever gone ;d 1-2 days is fine to me, it is just strange that it didn't arrive as usual. Should I just wait few days or there is something wrong? As the network increases, the daily transactions also increase. Meaning that the miner will mine/confirm the transactions with a higher fee first, then you transaction which has 0 fee.
