1  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetJA.io | $100,000 EURO 2020 Prize + Free BTC + MultiBet Insurance on: June 15, 2021, 11:55:46 PM
But betja.com has had a few years of operation, overall I didn't find anything leading to a scam, seems to be honest in sports betting.

You can try to see it here: betja.com Reviews

However, if you want to bet on their site, of course keep in regular contact with them and stay alert to get to know new gambling sites.

Never trust any information from scamadviser.com. Most of the time, it's generic and inaccurate. Sometimes you find them giving scam sites high ratings just because of traffic and domain age.

Scamadviser says that betja.com domain is 9 years old which may make someone assume that the casino is old but if you check whois, the domain was just updated 6 months ago on 2021-01-22

Which means they could have just bought an old domain which was registered several years back, yet the casino is just 6 months old.

2  Economy / Gambling / Re: FAIRLAY.COM SCAMMING USERS, ILLEGAL BET VOIDING on: June 15, 2021, 11:31:40 PM
Fairlay.com is one of the old crytpo casinos around (Since 2014). I don't see why they would try to ruin their long built reputation over some few BTC. Nonetheless, having one's funds locked up can be so frustrating. Sorry about the experience.

danshan11 seems to be their representative in their Official ANN thread. Maybe you can try contacting him with the details.
3  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BITREFIX.COM SCAM!!! DON'T LOSE YOUR MONEY on: June 15, 2021, 11:06:01 PM
The website in question isn't even connecting. When trying to load it I get Error 520 "Web server is returning an unknown error"
So how did they end up scamming you?

I think it would be good if you included all the details.

The site is also barely 3 months old

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What will happen to ASIC miners after Eth 2.0 on: June 15, 2021, 10:29:49 PM
Right after ETH 2.0, I don't think there will be any GPU shortage like it is right now. I believe most miners especially small scale chaps while start selling off their GPUs leading to an influx of cheaper GPUs into the market. So there will be more than enough supply of GPUs in the market for sometime.
5  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BSEIT.com -Exchange PM, Payeer, BTC, BCH, BAT, ETH, USDT,CNY, EUR & More on: June 15, 2021, 09:46:03 PM
I was trying to look through the different payment methods under the "you send" and "you receive " section but it's impossible checkout all of them by just scrolling.

Could you please add an option to scroll for each list for easy navigation?
6  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitfinex stay away. I cannot withdraw BTC. on: June 15, 2021, 09:28:00 PM
I agree with you. If I had used an Electrum wallet instead of Bitfinex I wouldn't have had any problems.

When I opened this issue, I had $30,000 in my account, now it has decreased to $25,000. Even if Bitfinex let me withdraw it today, I've lost $5,000.
They really don't care how much you have lost in fiat value because the asset is in form of crypto. So to them, 1 BTC in Jan 2019 = 1 BTC today.

Was you account completely blocked?
If I were you, I would have tried to convert the BTC to USDT so as to avoid it from dropping in value during market price decline.

what a crap exchange!!!

9  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Forget about exchanger search! Use BestChange! on: June 14, 2021, 11:42:40 PM
I often follow price movements on BestChange, for example, Bitcoin to Perfect Money USD pair. itís interesting to me and I still canít understand how most of these exchangers operate.
For example, at the moment current BTC/USD price is $40300 (by Bitstamp). But I find there few exchangers offering $40680 and up to $40830. so that's a lot more than the current price. Whatís the point here and how it fits into the business of buying something above regular cost.

btw. At the same time, few of them offering "just" $34280 and up. why the difference is so great, do they have their clients at all? Who selling Bitcoin on the -20% of the regular price?
what I missed?
They make money from other pair perhaps?

I think there's something about Perfect Money. I have never used the payment method but PM USD rate seems to be different from other payment methods in the same exchanges.

For example newline.online exchange whose BTC to PM USD rate is around 40,871 is having a very low rate of BTC to USDT at 34,931.71

Maybe one of the reasons could be that, it's hard to cash out Perfect Money USD back to BTC because the other direction of PM USD to BTC is even higher at 41,850
10  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 📝[Discussion topic] Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns📝 on: June 14, 2021, 11:15:14 PM
Campaign: Kardiachain Signature Campaign | Accesible Blockchain for Millions
Manager : Coin_trader
Who can participate : Sr.Member (5), Hero/Legendary (10), total 15 slots.
Payment : Sr.Member - 20$/week, Hero/Legendary - 40$/week, payment is made to your Binance Pay account.
Rules:At least 20 posts per week, at least 5 posts in Altcoin boards, at least 3 merit in 120 days.
Posts are not counted in: Off-Topic, Games & Rounds, Bounty/Signature threads and threads in which the signature is not visible.

On this campaign they are also not require any KYC directly. But the site or payment method they will use to send the payment require kyc as binance, bitsler and many more sites require KYC to make higher transaction on their website. So, I do not think they are doing something different than this.

Well, you are basically saying that you can participate the campaign without doing any KYC. But if you want to get paid, you need to do KYC. Lol

this is different from past campaigns i have seen...
As far as I remember too, I don't think campaigns where users received their rewards through gambling site accounts like Bitsler, Bustadice, Fortunejack or windice required the users to undergo KYC verification before cashing out, whereas for Binance Pay, it's going to be a must.

Maybe someone who participated in one of those past campaigns can confirm.

I also don't understand why they don't just deposit the rewards in the Binance accounts? it's just Bitcoin.
If they were aiming at promoting Binance Pay, then don't think anyone participating is just going to spend the rewards using Binance Pay anyway.
11  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: - - BITCOIN - Smooth Trader :-)) - - on: June 14, 2021, 08:15:33 PM
Obviously, don't want to be on the wrong side.

Basing on what you just said, I think I am right to assume that you were trading perpetual contracts. Which  leverage did you use? 3x, 5x, 10x, 15x?
Trading perpetual contracts or margin trading is only suitable for short term trades according to my experience.

Bitcoin swings a lot and therefore even someone using low leverage like 5x isn't safe from getting liquidated.
12  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it possible to convert altcoins into bitcoin and withdraw? on: June 14, 2021, 06:30:05 PM
Thanks for all the help

Here is my counts: (coinbase.com/trade)

Altcoins Total: 126 EUR (Before trading)
Altcoins Fees: 16.86 EUR (Total, counting each trade)
Altcoins Total: 109 EUR (Available for cash out)

If you aren't convinced by now then give this method a try...
coinbase.com/earn
You used coinbase.com instead of coinbase pro... right?

The fee you spent for the swaps is still too high vs the total value of your coin. Had you used coinbase pro, you would have spent way less.

They charge only 0.5% in fees per executed trade so that would be around 0.63 EUR, total trading fees

13  Other / Meta / Re: Is The Purpose of The Merit System Defeated? on: June 14, 2021, 01:51:06 PM
I propose that;
1. The newbies should be restricted to posting only in Beginners and Help Board.
2. However, newbies should be allowed to read in all boards for learning purposes.
3. All other members save newbies can post in the Beginners and Help.
4. Every newbie should remain in this status for a period of 90days. After the expiration of 90days, the forum moderators shall examine the performance of every newbie, then immediately award a certain number of merits(Let's say 10, 20, 50 etc) according to the performance of the newbie in this 90days orientation period. Also place the user in any rank other than newbie according to the performance aswell.
I bet if you were a newbie who had just registered and found such restrictions, chances are very high that you would have given up contributing to the forum. Hell, I almost gave up on the forum due to the merit restrictions that were new to me at the time.

If you have noticed, a good number of new accounts are created to ask questions about certain things like Trading, mining, Bitcoin wallets, transactions etc. and open up scam accusations. Now all that is supposed to be posted in specific boards. Imagine all that clutter in Beginners and Help board.

How do you expect to determine some's performance if they are going to post in Beginners and help only?
14  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Say the Binance CEO? on: June 13, 2021, 10:42:46 PM
It is a security dependent and does not require losing money or any information.
This is not totally true. We have seen so many people have their a wallets hacked and money getting stolen. Cryptocurrency is mostly about taking control of one's funds including it's security. Once the wallets are compromised, the money is not secure.

I also know of fake coins/less secure blockchains that suffered 51% attacks leading to losses. So people should stick to the most secure cryptocurrency which is Bitcoin Avoid shitcoins like Bitcoin diamond, Bitcoin Gold, Ethereum classic etc.
15  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it possible to convert altcoins into bitcoin and withdraw? on: June 13, 2021, 10:06:56 PM
Don't use coinbase.com to convert your token or you are going to pay a heavy price via fees. Use coinbase pro instead. Setting it up shouldn't be hard if you are already registered on coinbase.

I have MKR, COMP, XLM, CGLD, GRT, BAND, NU, UMA, NMR, FORTH, SKL, MATIC and AMP.
Coinbase pro has all the USD trading pairs of all those coins mentioned - https://pro.coinbase.com/markets.

Once you set up your coinbase pro account. Just transfer the coins there (No transfer fee paid), trade them off your USD and then withdraw the USD into your linked paypal account.

16  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Opinions according to the current market situation on: June 13, 2021, 08:26:26 PM
The market situation may seem boring to you but some traders out there are making money out of it. I will speak for myself. I made some profits over the past week.

If you are a spot market trader, you haven't even seen the worst of the crypto market yet. Trust me, when the bear market is on, you will realize that the current sideways market is nothing compared to it in terms of being bad.

Why do people think some meeting between Governments should have an impact on the crypto market?
How does the G7 summit relate to crypto markets for example? Whales and retail traders stop trading because of G7 summit? Grin
17  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Serious bug binance I have balance but I can't use it (bnb token) on: June 12, 2021, 11:59:17 PM
still not work and no support
Unfortunately their support is very slow of late. Don't use livechat, just create a ticket or write an email to them with all the details of the problem. Their Livechat is the slowest I have ever witnessed.

Have you tried withdrawing BNB to see if all of it appears in the withdrawal box?
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: RVN will reach 1$ on: June 12, 2021, 11:29:43 PM
So you are prophet now?  Cheesy

How is people looking for the net best coin to mine after 2.0 related to a RVN's price spike to $1?

RVN's all time high was in mid Feb when it reached around $0.3. Ever since then Price has been on a downtrend to $0.07 today. the downtrend started off way before that of major coins like BTC and ETH started.

Honestly, if RVN's price is to pump to $1, it may not happen this year. Probably, the next bull run... that's if the coin survives the crypto winter.

it's been several year since one.lv closed their service. If you are trying to use the route of getting access to your account containing bitcoin via the company behind the mail service, then i bet it's going to be impossible.

Without any private keys or seed phrases, then your Bitcoins are as good as gone.

I did a small search and this is what I got

Mail forwarding for One.lv website is disabled

February 7,2013

As of 31.01.2013 the social network One.lv has ceased its operation. Some Inbox.lv users used the services of One.lv mail service along with Inbox.lv and configured their mailboxes to forward incoming emails from Inbox.lv to One.lv.

On 31.01.2013 the administration of the One.lv portal deleted all mailboxes that were registered at One.lv social network and opted out of receiving incoming messages. To avoid possible technical problems and for usersí convenience, the administration of Inbox.lv automatically deactivated all forwarding to non-existing mailboxes at the One.lv domain.

Forticom seems to be the company behind the email service

There is no way of knowing especially if the Bitcoin address has no transaction in it.

I know if one website that can try helping you Identify which exchange owns the address but it mostly reports old Bitcoin address and not new ones.
Also, not all addresses get identified but try your luck  - https://www.walletexplorer.com/

check here too incase you are trying to track a scammer - Websites to check bitcoin transactions or addresses from scammers
