561  Other / Archival / Re: [ANN] The Anon virtual VISA card, No personal information needed. on: October 17, 2023, 10:58:36 PM
OP, why are you opening up multiple Announcement threads of the same service?
Are you aware this is not allowed

I noticed in the other thread, there is a dispute that hasn't been resolved, and it seems to me that you are trying to wipe the slate clean by creating a new thread

We paid our dues.
Can you provide us proof that you indeed made payment because your accuser says you didn't pay anything?
562  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 📝[Discussion topic] Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns📝 on: October 17, 2023, 10:08:32 PM
What are your thoughts about this campaign in the long run? For sure, local boards will become active again.
Their money, their rules  Smiley

But from what I can see they will most likely get applications from users who haven't been accepted in other campaigns such as
1. Accounts that have just woken up after long gaps without posting.
2. Low post quality users.
3. Users that are not so good with the English boards

Bitvest and 777coin signature campaign is one of the oldest campaigns. I have been a part of this campaign back in my early forum days. They used to pay this little amount at that time too. Well, $40 max pay for Legendary seems low though. If I'm correct, I used to get around $35 for 60 posts per week back in 2019/20.
In 2019, $50-$30 was normal pay for legendary ranks for most signature campaigns except for chipmixer and the likes, and there were very few live signature campaign during that bear market.
Today things are different, $70-$100 seems to be a common figure.
563  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: signature campaign Vs review campaign on: October 17, 2023, 09:41:58 PM
Both serve different purposes

Review campaigns are usually put in place for the users to test on the functionality of the service, look out for the strong points and weak points about the service, and provide feedback on how the service can be improved. Reviews can be both positive and negative, so this in no way promotes a service. It's more like a way to improve the service.

A signature Campaign on the other hand is advertisement for service and the exposure to potential customers goes way beyond the users in the forum (the target could also be guest users)

So I don't know why you are making comparisons. The two are completely different, and a service can do both.
564  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A question about the TradeSanta options on: October 16, 2023, 11:52:51 PM
This is certainly the first time I am hearing about this bot, which seems to be a third party bot. May I ask? Which extra features that this bot have that inbuilt exchange bots do not have?
By using a third party bot, you are increasing the risk on your funds by getting your API keys leaked in case of a data breach.

Which exchange will you be executing trades from?

0.02% profit 100x, seems more like the profits will all get eaten by the exchange trading fees.
565  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Ledger doesn't show transaction, it shows up in Electrum. What's going on? on: October 16, 2023, 11:41:10 PM
Right? So private key = one bitcoin address (which can differ based on script type)?
A single private key can generate three types of addresses. A legacy address which starts with 1, a nested segwit address which start with 3 and a native segwit address which starts with bc1.
Taproot address type?

Sorry for these basic questions. If you have a recommendation on an article/book/video for someone at my level, I'm all ears!

thanks.

566  Other / Meta / Re: Why did a mod delete my posts from 7-2 months ago that didn't violate any rules? on: October 16, 2023, 11:07:27 PM
Likely you were also given temporary ban which you might not know becuase you do not visit this forum with the around the time.
For one to get a temporary ban, the delete spam post count has to be quite high, not just 14 deleted posts.

Or did you lose some activity points because of it?  That's the only real reason I can think of why this thread exists.  Answer that honestly.
He has 14 deleted posts so far, perhaps he was shocked to see that all his garbage from the past was deleted in a quick succession. Either way I don't even see why he made a complaint about it yet it's pretty clear.
567  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Octoserver E10-X99-2 on: October 16, 2023, 10:55:52 PM
They were supposed to ship the Octoserver on September 15th and the delivery time was 10-20 days

I write emails to them with questions but never receive an answer at all.

Joined their Discord channel.
Admins don't respond there either

If you want to order their products, be careful
Based on all other reviews I have read, it seems to that they are very incompetent when it comes to delivering the purchased gear and also responding to customer issues. I encourage you to make more noise on their social media channels until they respond to your issue.
However, be ready to wait for some lengthy time.

Next time when using such services, it's very important to carry to through due diligence to avoid such inconveniences
568  Economy / Lending / Re: Loan request from shahzadafzal on: October 16, 2023, 10:38:39 PM
>>snip<<
Negatively tagging him right now before the deadline will only make things worse now that he already received both loans. He will probably get kicked out of the signature campaign and will have no motivation to pay the loans later.

The "collateral" you have right now is his reputations and participation in one of the signature campaigns. Once that is gone, he will have no point of coming back to this forum

Perhaps @shahzadafzal can also add another neutral tag, showing that he has another loan from him.
569  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: YoMix warning on: October 16, 2023, 10:11:45 PM
Mixes bitcoins and then send to a centralized exchange. When his account is blocked, goes ahead to blame Yomix for putting him on FBI watch list. Who does that?
What was the point of mixing coins then if you were going to send them to a centralized exchange them?

OP, I don't know how long you have used crypto, but you have no one else to blame but yourself. If you want complete privacy and custody of your funds, then avoid centralized exchanges. Simple as that.
570  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 16k DOLLARS LOSS IN JUST 1 YEAR on: October 15, 2023, 02:44:06 PM
The biggest mistake is probably lack of risk management and a proper working trading strategy that suits you. Yes in trading you are bound to make loses from point to point, but what are you doing to avoid blowing up your account in case a trade does not go your way?

Also, FOMO, Greedy (trading with emotions) is very dangerous.  You are still relatively new in trading. Take your time to practice and learn. Use small amounts of funds to avoid losing money that you can not afford to lose. This can even affect your mental health.
571  Other / Archival / Re: Crypto Luxury Store on: October 15, 2023, 01:47:20 PM
i have purchased from this store as well, the service was exellent, only thing i didnt like was the shipping that it was free only for the orders over 500 euros Cheesy but still as we are crypto holders, shipping won't be a problem to be paid, as in the end we will get the product.
Oh wow Steve, it looks like you have a dissociative identity disorder. Thanks for the fake review, anyway. We shall keep it here in the archives for future reference.

i see the reviews in trustpilot as well, I didnt see any bad review regarding the store-client relationship.
i think the bad reviews are for other businesses.
Trusting a "store" with my money that refuses to even pay its advertisers after a job done. What could possibly go wrong, Steve?
572  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Forget about exchanger search! Use BestChange! on: October 14, 2023, 11:52:31 PM
Wouldn't it be cool if the platform is able to auto translate customer feedback from the Russian language (local language) to English and vise versa?

For example, Russian feedback on the Russian version of the website on this exchanger (https://www.bestchange.ru/quickex-exchanger.html) does not show up on the English version of the website (https://www.bestchange.com/quickex-exchanger.html) and vise versa.
It would be nice to know what people from other jurisdictions talk about the service.

573  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Whirlwind.money | ⚡No Fee⚡ | Ultimate Privacy | Anonymity Mining 12% APR🔥 on: October 14, 2023, 11:40:50 PM
Though it may remain unanswered, the question arises as to why the 13 BTC is untouched for this length of time. If this was an all-out exit scam things would have been far more obvious but they have not moved any funds. If I had to choose between exit scam or them being unable to access their server, I would come to the conclusion they no longer are able to access their server.
Perhaps they are in no rush to spend the Bitcoins, as they have more Bitcoins stacked somewhere? They would most likely get back to spending it once the dust has settled down.
I have seen that kind of behavior before, with scammers and hackers. They are definitely aware that the address is being closely watched.

574  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [List] Instant exchanges on: October 14, 2023, 11:15:36 PM
I'm guessing you just copied the URL from the OP instead of searching for it on Google? If so, that's probably why you couldn't visit it. It was only accessible if you explicitly added HTTPS before the URL, but it should work fine now (they might have read your post).
You are actually right. I just copied the link from OP and pasted it into the URL bar but yeah, it looks like it has been fixed. You can also add a hypertext link to Evonax.com and make it clickable like the others in the OP
575  Economy / Lending / Re: ★ ★ ★ LENDING ► CONDORAS SERVICE ◄ ESCROW ★ ★ ★ on: October 14, 2023, 10:29:07 PM

Hello condoras

What valid guarantees do you currently accept?
Can you explain with practical examples?

Thanks.
You mean a valid collateral for a loan you might need?
You can start off by reading through the OP as you wait for his response. I believe you will find satisfactory answers to your questions there - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1596878.0
576  Other / Archival / Re: Crypto Luxury Store on: October 13, 2023, 11:49:38 PM
OP, probably trying to shill his service

I wouldn't trust the store at all, if at all it even exists. I see a couple of reviews on Trustpilot (not that I totally trust reviews from that site, but there can never be smoke without fire). It seems like someone or a couple of people are not gappy with how Crypto Luxury Store did not pay them for the service they offered

Be careful
No one buys his product, then you will also be cheated, otherwise, you will pay and later you will not receive your product.
577  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: App for crypto indicators on: October 13, 2023, 11:29:21 PM
The major downside. The app is probably rigged with ads, some may be intrusive. I even lost the guts to download and check out the app. So, under the alerts section. I have to watch ads every 12 hours?

Don't you guys have like a paid version of the app, though I am not sure how good the app is?

578  Other / Meta / Re: TalkImg.com - Image hosting for BitcoinTalk on: October 13, 2023, 11:22:02 PM
Has anyone else experienced this before?

This is certainly the first time I experienced this. Not sure why. I have tried to use different web browsers. Sorry, I am unable to copy the incident ID. Maybe joker_josue can make the incident ID easy to copy.

It weird that I was able to upload another image after the error
579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: BTCP online website wallet? on: October 12, 2023, 11:59:01 PM
So for now the only wallet is this: https://github.com/BitcoinPurple/BTCP/tree/main
Be careful, or you may end up downloading malware into your device thinking that it's a wallet. Why are you still stuck with that project? It's pretty much dead according to some members, so I doubt if the developer or developers would be working on making the coin is accepted by many more wallet service.

If you look at their GitHub, all activity was there 2 months ago and that was probably when the so-called coin was launched. After that, nothing at all. If the owners can abandon the coin, then why not you?

Hey! are you the guy who made bitcoin white and bitcoin dark?
Come on dude, learn something to earn. Do you really believe you can hit a fortune just by creating a coin for a few dollars?

580  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The Tightening Grip of Regulations on Cryptocurrency in the UK on: October 12, 2023, 11:47:55 PM
My heart sank when I heard the news: Bybit crypto exchange is throwing in the towel and leaving the UK market. This is a devastating blow for us traders who have come to rely on their platform.
Worry not, there's always a new kid on the block. You just have to be observant enough  Smiley

Before Bybit, there was Binance, bitmex, Bittrex etc. and there will be more after Bybit. I believe exchanges like Bitget, MEXC, Bingx, Phemex are still available for the UK users… Right?
