61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] epicmine.io ⛏️ Multi-algo coin Epic Cash pool with dynamic difficulty/fees on: March 04, 2024, 11:43:37 PM
This project still alive, But trading volume to low in 24 hours.
One reason to avoid it because I believe there is low liquidity and the price shit. What is the point of wasting an effort on something that is almost dead.

If I Use VPN Can I Mining EPIC?

When launch Asia Version?
In their formatting rules, I don't see any talk about VPN usage being illegal: https://epicmine.io/faq?
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] ZERGPOOL.com - Multialgo, autoexchange, 0.5% fee, 250+ coins on: March 04, 2024, 11:32:24 PM
Do all Scrypt coins on Zergpool support merge-mining with DOGE?
Their discord server might be the quickest place you could get an answer to your query. Alternatively, you can also try asking in their Subreddit. Not that it's bad is post here, but you might take much longer to get a response.
63  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Alert SCAM and very stupid [MadHatters] on: March 04, 2024, 10:53:29 PM
The member has been a scammer, however people have not been opening scam accusations against him like this one

scamer user
I stole an account
I have photos of what he stole from me

this is a scammer, be careful

Yes. He stopped responding when I mentioned escrow.

I have tagged and created a flag against him - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=3288

Why is it that the SCAMMER guy doesn't comment on this post or defend himself?
Because that's what scammers do. I noticed he has been deleting threads and locking them up once they started accusing him.
64  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BC.Game account locked?! on: March 04, 2024, 10:32:07 PM
Don't trust this site their customer service is complete garbage.
According to one recent complaint I saw, this seems true, though they promised to improve on their support

They took my money and blocked withdrawals, then they outright locked my acount.

I complied with all their requests for "kyc", yet they never respond or do anything.
My user id is 12710579.

Avoid at all costs
You need to add more details into your scam accusation like screenshots, deposit transaction IDs, communication with support etc. if you want to build a strong case against them. Maybe their representative could also help you to follow up on the case.
65  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CEX.IO & My Frustrating Experience BE CAREFUL on: March 04, 2024, 09:58:33 PM
I think this is the second case I am seeing where a CEX.io user has their account get locked and even after providing what is requested of them, the indefinite wait keeps going on while the support isn't helpful either.

Try your luck with their representative in this forum. Send him a PM regarding your issue if you can https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=148073
66  Economy / Lending / Re: 1 Week Short Term loans (15%) on: March 04, 2024, 09:42:08 PM
You are getting a loan in order to gamble? I don't think this is a good idea. What if you lose of the money while gambling? What next? How do you repay the loan?

I know the first time is the hardest but would have no issue giving one of my major accounts as collateral.
An account does not count as collateral because the lender can't sell it to recover the 0.05 BTC in case you default the loan.

Read the guidelines here:
1. Lending Board Rules of Engagement - Attention Lenders and Borrowers
2.
What is considered collateral?

Collateral is something that can easily be resold to cover the loan value plus interest should the loaner default on the loan.

- The best collateral is another crypto-currency, such as Ethereum (also written as ETH).  Coins must be moderately traded on multiple exchanges.
- Some digital wares such as domain names can be considered as long as the user cannot recover it.
- Small valuable items that can be shipped though the mail - i.e. gold, silver, iphones, etc.
- Large items, such as a motorcycle or guitar can be used if you live close to the person giving you the loan.  Try localbitcoins.com

What is not considered collateral?

- Merit.  Bitcointalk Merit is not a commodity and is not meant to be traded.  Asking or doing so may get you negative trust (Trade with Extreme Caution!)
- Items they want to sell.  They don't want it back, so they will default.  It's scammy unethical behavior and will lead to negative trust.  Check their recent posts!
- Items not in hand.  Don't trust a user that promises to give you something *when* they default!  Tracking numbers only show something has been mailed - it could be an empty box.
- Future income.  You can prove you'll make xx coins in the next few days, but nothing forces you to send those coins to pay your debt.
- Identification.  So what if they can prove who they are.  Are you going to spend more money and time taking them to court on untested legal grounds?  You'll probably just walk away, like everyone does.  ID is useless.
- Games codes or similar.  To verify the collateral you need to use the code, which destroys the collateral.  Consider this a purchase, not a loan.  (Post in Digital Goods instead)
- Most new alt-coins or alt-coins that trade for satoshis are not good collateral as they can become worthless overnight.
- Most pre-coins/tokens are worthless, or may take significant time to be worth anything.
- Paypal should never be used - they are anti-bitcoin and will rule against you 100% of the time.  Escrow can't even help, as paypal charge backs can come over six months later!
- Most valuable online accounts can easily be recovered by social engineering (the user contacting support to say they were hacked, and regain control of the account)  Examples:  Steam

When should you use Escrow?

 - Never send collateral directly to a low activity/post account offering you a loan, as they are likely to take your coins and disappear. (Collateral Scam)
 - Use only "Legendary Members" for escrow - they have a vested interest in the community with the time they have spent here.
 - Do not use a third party escrow service unless hero members can vouch for it - it's too easy to create a website, do a few escrows then disappear with a big balance.  Rinse and repeat.
- A list of trusted escrows can be found here:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=855778.0

When considering the trustworthiness of a user, ignore "Posts" as there are schemes that pay a user per post.  A person can make 1,000 useless posts in one day and contribute nothing to the community.  Instead look at the "Activity" number - that gives you a more accurate tally of how involved the user is in the community.  The new "Merit" system highlights thoughtful or useful posts, but gives no indication of trustworthiness.

Ignore the sob stories that users post - it's just a scam to get your coins.  If a person really is in such a situation, they can turn to family, friends or other social circles they frequent.  They are just posting in our community because the payment is anonymous and irreversible.
67  Economy / Lending / Re: 10€loan on: March 04, 2024, 09:27:25 PM
Collateral: 16€ in robinhood account
Use that  €16 collateral in the Robinhood account to cash out and sort out whatever reason is making you look for a  €10 loan. Problem solved. Nobody is going to give you even €1 here, trust me.  Try the scam elsewhere.
68  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTCiTrade.com - Is this something serious..?? on: March 03, 2024, 11:51:50 PM
Try it out with some disposable cash, like $10 and see if there will be any meaningful profits ( I highly doubt if you will). Such tools never always work well otherwise if it was that profitable then what would be the point of publishing all the information publically, yet they could make insane profits behind the scenes?
69  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Algorithm Trades. on: March 03, 2024, 10:47:47 PM
I don't think there is such an algo because altcoins pump is something almost random. Today it's PEPE reaching an all-time high, tomorrow, it's SHIBA or FLOKI. This is just some sort of random shit. No formula at all.

The best time to buy such coins or tokens is in the bear market, when everything is down and there is only one way up.

70  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Looking for bitcoin options on e-trade on: March 02, 2024, 11:28:29 PM
Because I already have an e-trade account and I don't have a Binance or otherwise account You said "also" does that mean e-trade has them?
I am simply suggesting to you platforms where you can easily find and trade Bitcoin option. The crypto exchanges are pretty easy to sign up to and undergo KYC verification. I have never used e-trade, but a quick check shows me that they only have other forms of options and not Bitcoin options.
71  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Looking for bitcoin options on e-trade on: March 02, 2024, 10:58:29 PM
Any reason you are using e-trade instead of the traditional Bitcoin exchanges such as Binance, OKX, deribit, Crypto.com, Bybit etc.
They seem to also offer Bitcoin options trading among other products and might not be as limited as e-trade.

73  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: New Local Bitcoin marketplace on: February 29, 2024, 11:54:54 PM
I just checked out your site and it's still basic. It does not give anyone the guts to use it.
Do you have what it takes to compete with the likes of Agoradesk, Localcoinswap, localmonero etc.? Have a look through the site I have just list, you might get some inspiration from them.

Also, LocalBitcoins is a bad example of a p2p marketplace that inspired your work, especially when they introduced KYC verification.
74  Economy / Digital goods / Re: IPTV Subscription for all devices including Fire Stick, TV Box, Smart TV on: February 27, 2024, 11:35:36 PM
Any Android TV app available or Self hosting script available?
You can use universal IPTV players like IPTV Smarters Pro. It has versions available for Android TV as well.

I also agree with Lucius, the IPTV world is also a little volatile. Finding a reliable and trustworthy service is a tag of war. I think for a new service, an option to subscribe for a month or 2 should also be available.

Imagine subscribing for a full year and then after a month, he service disappears.
75  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: DISHONEST VENDOR on: February 27, 2024, 11:18:15 PM
Sorry about the bad experience, but members in the mining community have several times been warned about trusting vendors that appear on the asicminervalue.com. Not all of them can be trusted. In fact, some have even had scam accusations here before.

Only fully trust shops, sellers, and resellers listed on official manufacturers' websites.

asicminervalue.com also have a disclaimer right below the list.

76  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Wallet.dat files that are being sold online on: February 27, 2024, 10:56:45 PM
Even with the master key that is supposedly in the bigcrypt hash, it is still very difficult to decrypt. Hashcat runs a little bit faster, but I'm guessing most of these passwords are set very high with little chance of getting the passwords without very expensive rigs that Bruce Wayne owns.
Or the Bitcoins never existed in the wallets to begin with. So they (scammers) use the false impression to sell off the useless wallets to greedy fellows who think they have a chance of cracking the wallet and walk away with lots of imaginary Bitcoins.

My bitcoin was taken by hackers or police, and it led me down a dark road.  Lips sealed
or may you just let your guard down and got your seeds or private keys to leak. I mean, there are so many possibilities.
77  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Loan tBTC for my project, i will return it back on: February 27, 2024, 10:34:08 PM
I need to test the cloud mining functionality to make sure it's working properly. We don't want to risk real BTC.
A cloud mining functionality?
Never seen any that works on chain and therefore would need tBTC for testing. Most of them are just custodial and almost all of them are scam, but let's wait and see if you are a man of your word.

I need preferably 1 tBTC which I will return when I'm finished testing it after about 4 weeks.
You have already received over 1 tBTC. Time will tell if you are an honest or dishonest person.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Recover DOGE from only BIOM details? on: February 27, 2024, 10:12:53 PM
Thanks for the reply. You have confirmed what I thought most likely. I can't remember anything about the wallet I recieved the DOGE into. I have one HDD that might have been the D drive at that time but the C drive was an SSD and has been changed and reused in various machines as I've upgraded my main rig.
If the D drive is not overwritten, then you could try using some good recovery software to restore the files from the drive uncorrupted. The reason we wanted to know the wallet software you installed back then was to find out if it stored any encrypted wallet files locally on your PC. If there is a chance that you can recover the encrypted wallet files, I also hope you still remember the passwords you might have used back then for the wallet, and that is also very important.
79  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] AgoraDesk.com | Buy ♻️ Sell Bitcoins Anonymously! on: February 27, 2024, 09:56:25 PM

Hello everyone, hope you are awesome!

Why is people inm the trades asking me why price is different in other ad and sending me a link??

they trying to scam?
What kind of links are they sending you? Please share them here if possible. Be very careful, they maybe phishing links and once you click on they, you might be prompted to renter your credentials there by compromising your account.

Just strictly follow the instructions from the platform when carrying out the p2p trades, and you will never get scammed. If they don't like your price, tell them to look else where.
80  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Discover Jupbit.com: Your Gateway to Crypto Excellence on: February 27, 2024, 09:38:57 PM
Term and conditions should be easily access right before someone signs up. A user has to acknowledge that he has read the Terms and conditions and agree to them as he is signing up. I am not seeing anything in the sign-up page.

I read your Terms and like the other user said, it looks like copy and paste. Are you trying to tell us that your exchange allows any user from the world to use it, including those from the United States or North Korea?
