1  Economy / Exchanges / Re: 14 million Coinbase user records reportedly being sold online on: Today at 10:50:59 AM
So another breach, although we don't know if this is true or not.

But with that regards, this is another proof that we should really take care of our exchange account. Maybe we need to change our password. Use 2FA or anything that it will not be that easy for the hackers to steal our crypto.

Yes thats alarming. If the platform got hacked its out of the user hands actually. They should have strengthen their security and wont allow a breach like this to happen. Since customers information is at risk with the hackers. I dont have coinbase account since wasnt able to make one and I believe not allowed to create anymore by this is a concern too for some users. Leaking info is one thing we dont wanna happened on our side.
2  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: No good entry but you just want to trade on: Today at 08:31:41 AM
Some traders know about this, but because they haven not made money in a day, they will go against the indicators and open the position at any without a clear analysis that signals entry. Most of the time that I do this when I was a day trader, I usually lose money. What about you?

Not all days there will be signals to enter market but day traders can be very greedy with impatience. Also the signal may not come early but later come in the afternoon or evening.
Well they arent wise traders, a good trader should always be patience and discipline himself when it comes to entry and exit. Since Im not an active trader I dont pushes my trade into something to earn. Its dangerous and instead of earning more I will probably incurred more loses. Thats the problem with so much users lately. Keep trying to trade without planning.

4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How about voters decides if they allow gambling to be legalize in their country? on: Today at 03:30:07 AM
What will be the outcome in your country if your government decides to let its people decide if they want to legalize gambling in your country? with casino operators and supporters, and those opposing, campaigning for legalization or banning.
That would be tough indeed what if the winner of the vote aligning to abort gambling then those private sector will have to shut them down and we know that gambling is a business. For our country in the Philippines I think this would never happened for the reason that Government is living winh taxes and gambling industry is one of those that given them huge profits from taxes.

Business is business kasi.

9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do gamblers keep repeating this? on: May 09, 2026, 08:29:48 AM
One feeling I've discovered over the years is, when you're winning, greed steps in and you don't feel like stopping and immediately you start loosing the thought of recovering all the little that has been lost so you can quit will hit your mind and even though you recover back you still feel like gambling more but in most cases immediately you start losing you just end up losing with few wins until everything is exhausted. As if this is not enough it will still repeat itself in the next gambling session.
So the question is, why don't you quit when you've won quite a reasonable amount? Or when you've evened back your previous max win?
What else is new for people who already won big? The feeling is there and the belief that they can do it once again will never fade. Thats the crazy thing about winning its associated with greed that cant be control or overcome. It will only depends on someone discipline or contentment in life to fully stop.

Imagine you won like $1million in gambling. At first you stop since youre gonna enjoy and spend it while taking sometime to wonder what if I play again maybe another win like this.

11  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Basic knowledge is enough. on: May 09, 2026, 07:13:25 AM
If you want to make money investing in crypto make sure you have experience and if you really want to hold Bitcoin make sure you can use all the strategies. Choose a good exchange then buy and save Bitcoin. You can only apply the best strategies or experience in crypto when you practice a lot. You will not gain much knowledge in a very short time so you have to wait until you know everything. A newbie in crypto is more likely to lose money because he rushes into investing without understanding anything.
Thats not using strategy when you buy bitcoin and save and hold them. More like a conviction for me, cause yoi literally holding it and wait for it go up and increases its price. The strategy is when you employ some skills or idea on how to maximize your earning like in defi whereas you could do some advantage over some finances by loanung and earn on top of those.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Hada - the real creator of Bitcoin? on: May 09, 2026, 05:30:26 AM
Not gonna say youre wrong but definitely not right. Theres a lot of suspicion on the identity of bitcoin but I guess we should move on whose really Satoshi Nakamoto was. His either someone who keeps enjoying his life with new hobby or probably dead now. Who knows if also his a single user but a group? Theres a lot of hearsay before and I think we can just simply ignore all these speculations on whose him is.
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have this feeling, when you start loosing in a row that.. on: May 08, 2026, 12:13:49 PM
Id say its prettt normal to think that since when you play for example slot it doesnt give much wins but when you watch other players playing they constantly winning off their games. Id experience it before in a casino where my games are all flop and when I stopped to observed others thinking why mine always losing while this player doing it good thats why I think sometimes is it about the machine? Or Im just really unlucky doing that time.

15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Signs to detect a fake crypto Exchange on: May 08, 2026, 05:36:56 AM
Its the easiest part indeed. Looking for a cex is very simple task just always look on the feedback and review first before anything else. If its sound so new then dont rush registering find some feedback with multiple sources first cause some might be scam thru a fake one or just a scam site made by hacker to fully have access to your money.

I had posted on our local before that he got caught to a cex that offers a hyip investment like he can earn thru level up through funds investment and will be able to cashout as long as it unlock the level by depositing deym from this kind of approach people should realize its a scam already.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you buy a World Cup ticket for $11.5 million? on: May 08, 2026, 05:03:36 AM
This is the story behind a World Cup ticket actually listed for $11.5 million on FIFA site. In less than 24 hours the internet has gone crazy due to the high cost of 2026 World Cup Ticket, the highest weve seen so far is the $11.5m ticket price. FIFA President is receiving the backlash as we speak.
Is this ticket is like forever access to fifa? Cause if not then its not worthy and very expensive! Who wouldnt spend that huge amount to attend fifa game, also how many tickets comprises of that? If its like 100 access pax plus forever one then it might be good. But if its only one ticket?? Who wouldnt they kidding for that. I wonder if anyone bought that?
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: One who wins big after many try or one who plays big who's smarter on: May 08, 2026, 03:46:04 AM
Some persons were of the opinion that the high staker is smarter for always staking high and that his returns when he wins will always be high and cover up if he doesn't win next time.
While others say the the low staker is smarter and would not probably feel the pain of losing if he eventually does and would make more profit if he eventually wins.
So the question is who do you think is smarter and which is a more favorable way to bet.
Honestly the idea isnt accurate cause winning on gambling isnt about if the person is a low or high staker since the results often depend on the luck of the user or likewise strategy. There will come a time that someone very rare to play and win super mega jackpot game via low staking game. The case is different for a high staker and consistent player since he/she could definitely win it but the risk of losing is no different than an average player.

19  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Philippines version Merit Rank Up thread V.1 on: May 07, 2026, 12:56:57 PM
Mali pala pagkakaintindi ko akala ko kapag senior 240+ up pwede magpost  Shocked anyway ignore my post nalang muna up ko nalang siguro ulet kapag naka 490 na ako sa susunod. Salamat kabayan!  Smiley
Hey kabayan I saw your post. Masyadong mataas yung from 450 to 500 for merit spree.

20  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Morgan Stanley Debuts Crypto Trading, Undercuts Rivals on Price on: May 07, 2026, 11:41:17 AM
Do you guys thing this might be the end of traditional crypto exchanges?

We have seen many of them shutting down during bear markets because their business was too unprofitable to operate. What would happen if they also lost a big share of their volumes to the platforms run by big banks?

I bet giants like Morgan Stanley can afford offering lower fees for quite a long time to squeeze most of the competitors.
Im confuse when you say traditional crypto exchange or the term should br old cex in the past like what you mentioned like bitrrex and ftx. Im thinking of a traditional crypto cec is the etoro which is previously a stock market exchange that adds crypto products on their platform. I just heard that they shut down.

Most unknown exchange will likely close due to lack of users even the modern type of cex. Cause the competition on users aquisition is tough and mostly rely on big cex markets.
